Another one which was recorded alot differently than my other covers, this song was recorded at the end of a 38 degrees (celsius) hourlong recording session for fun, and as a "in-the-moment" thing. No practice was done for this song, and in fact I didn't even learn the song (just putting it out there to silence the harsh critics hahaha). But I love thrashing out some Moon drumming! In short this cover was purely an improv playalong for fun! I hope you enjoy it!
All production in this video is done by me, except for the original recording which is owned and created by The Who

Perfect!! Absolutely loved it. Cheers.
1:39 Lol he even nailed the part where Keith got a little ahead of the rest of the band! Awesome cover!!!
Excellent job! Nicely done! Very accurate!
Are you sure you're not a time traveler and didn't play on the original recording?! Fantastic work, man!
Hey Josh, really nice job very well played the sound quality was excellent and I love your kit, wish I could still get around the kit like that.
Now that was an awesome drum cover!
Superb, Josh, lots of fun, too!!
Really really amazing !
You're... totally amazing... dude.
Great. I like your take at the end. Bravo

Is it just me or does this guy remind anyone else of Mitch Mitchell? Anyways this was awesome. reqlly good drum cover!
Very nice cover. Very Moonesque... Great sounding kit, too.
Awesome job!
Brilliant!
That was f***ing awesome.
Fucking fantastic. I'm a guitar player but I love the way you nail the swing feel and also the way your drums are tuned. Nice triplet freak out at the end.
I dream about that tom sound... Great job man!
Very good!!!!!
I LOVE YOU MAN !
Just great.
Dude you are good!
Congrats, man! Keep working hard, you gonna be a great professional drummer, as you wish!!

+joshkosh95 sweet! They look great!
Awesome ending. Like Monster from the muppets.
That was the best fucking improvisation I've ever seen. :D
man your fucking great!!
Can you break down the first roll at about 12-14 seconds? Can you go hit by hit, and which drums/cymbals are used?
Fucking brilliant sir
Awesome cover! How you set the mics? you don't put one in the snare, right? just mics in the toms?
I'm having trouble with the ride cymbal rhythm & staying in time at 2:32. You did a great job man. I bet if Keith didn't die in '78, he'd buy you a brandy after seeing that bit you did at the end. hahahaha

Thanks for the awesome comments everyone! Trick is to hit the ride (or any cymbal as keith would when he went nuts haha) on each quarter note with your leading hand and use that as your time. So 1 2 3 4 (Tal-bout-gen-ra), or in eights 1 3 5 7 would be the cymbal hits. Maybe start with just single stroke triplets on the snare then add the ride quarter notes, then add the kick too on those quarter notes, when you're comfortable with that then maybe add a tom on the left hand then when you've got that add the rest in then shred! haha hope that helps! Hahaha good to know!
FUK YEAH
Great effort doing the impossible (covering Moon) only thing I have to say is don't use a high hat.
Tighter than Moon
Keith would like that
Sorry to rain on your parade but at the breaks Keith hit his sticks together on the studio version or live version he used the the kick drum - neither of which were used - having said that you got the swing which most don't
where are the kick breaks
Holy fuck
Men, in the face and even a little in the expressions you look like Keith Moon
Moon the Loon in another body???
put away the hi hat Keith moon didn’t use one but besides that awesome cover
Duplicates are not allowed for my favorites? Damnit.
I also cover this song. thank you so much. but It is too difficult. hahaha

Your band mates are dicks.
God damn, you have a cowbell on your kit and you don't use it?
No stick clicks? Sina drums cover blows this away,

No, it does not.
No cherry bombs?
the problem with this song, is that it is really easy, except when you play it at its full tempo. 188bpm is too fucking fast XD
Jesus fucking christ :O
Good job but your bass drums need to be miked more betta
Never hit the high hat, just like Keith who didn't have one.
where are the cherry bombs man
Now kick your kit over.
aw... i was hopeing you'd destroy your kit lol
0/10 no exploding drum kits
Slow. Lose the high-hat
