Hi Marty, I love your lessons! I have an odd question for you. I noticed the angel that your guitar pick is at when it strikes the strings. It's the same angle that I have with the pick when striking the string. Other guitar players that I know who do this are left handed but play the guitar right handed. My question is are you left handed but play guitar right handed. Keep the good stuff coming!.

Hi Marty, Great lessons, very inspirational. Really enjoyed the Acoustic Blues DVD set, awesome. Could you please do a lesson on a song by Colin James. He`s a great Canadian blues rocker. He did a live version of his song, Voodoo Thing, on a youtube video recorded for a live audience at a radio station, The Q107. Colin James Live @ Q107 - "Voodoo Thing" . Thanks again for all the great lessons. Have a great day, Laurence

The Who played this during their Live at Albert Hall show. Townshend seems to play it using different chord positions. Can someone explain this to me? Also, during the solo, Townshend windmills his arm over a "D" chord, and then goes where from there? Thanks from a guitar-playing beginner.

marty for the chords that you use your ring finger to cover the D G and B strings all at the same time.. are there any exercises you can recommend that will help me get better at getting my ring finger to get in that position because i've noticed thats the most challenging part of playing the guitar for me

hey marty! i actually have a really good idea. im sure you know of the recent chicagomusicexchange viral vid with the 100 riffs and i think it would be brilliant if every lesson, you could teach us one of these riffs. i think it would be different and being the best riffs of all time, there are sure to be many viewers. like if you agree. :) love your lessons :)
