The Who (my all-time favorite band, second to none), demonstrating why they were the ultimate band. The drumming (Keith Moon) and guitar (Pete Townshend) are amazing, but it's the bass that really stands out (John Entwistle). There are other great bands that I like (Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, but for me, The Who is tops...

There’s a short 4 minute black and white reel of Leeds footage that you can find if you search long enough, but unfortunately I don’t think the full concert was filmed. One of my favorite concerts/live albums of all time. Thanks for watching

This is what real music sounds like, fluid, raw, unpretentious. Not like most of the $hit, made by posers and careerists cashing money and fame... bland and soulless.

why on earth would you ruin all this footage with lesser performance sterile LAL show audio LAL ain't even close to Coliseum performance... if you wanna do this editing stuff at least add proper audio from 1969 and not the disappointment that was LAL since the day it came out, LAL was sonically subdued show on purpose

If you want to watch the Coliseum performance with mono room audio there’s a ton of them on KZread. There’s raw soundboards of Leeds that exist too if you want a less “sterile” version. The 2 hour performance kicks ass and imo is better than Hull, Wight, Woodstock, Tanglewood, and yes even the great Coliseum show. This is some of the best Who videos compiled with what I consider the best version of Tommy. You’d have to look really hard to find a higher fidelity version of The Who live.
