who ever would have thought a band comprised of a boy and a girl would come along and skyrocket to fame. and Jack White has to be one of the most prolific musicians of the last decade, White Stripes, Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, 2 solo albums...this guy is a rock machine!

Captain and Tennille? The Carpenters? The White Stripes aren't the first. They're not even the first rock duo, Local H was around before they were.

@James Schultz *Est.1982 She just has a feel. I love the way she hits the snare - it has such an amazing vibrancy. She hits it just right - not too hard, not too soft. It just rings so nicely.

It's kinda sloppy, off the beat at times, and unorthodox, but it works so well here. She feels the music, and that's what counts in rock. It's just fun and from the heart.

@@petertromp8786 Oh, Got it. You meant more about her equipment sound. A snare can be set by changing the tension on the head as well as the snare itself . Also, you can dampen it or not. I'm not sure how she sets hers up but I like it too.

@@jeffmurdock8321 Actually, I should have been even clearer: I meant how good she makes the snare sound. She hits hard, but it doesn't sound brutal, like Bonham or anything; it sounds very musical and ringing while she's clattering it. I believe that's a skill in and of itself. Obviously her choice of equipment matter and who maintained it for her, but I just like what she gets out of it - the sounds she puts out.

They should have micked the crowd better. But still excellent. Transition goals as an enby, moving from seeming more Meg to being more Jack. But, alas, I also like the Monkees.
