It's not about the white candle, its about whether she would be obedient and trust God, candle or not, and being God's child requires obedience even if it's foolish to the world. Remember the guy he told to go the river and dip himself seven times, he thought it was foolish and until his servant convinced him to do so, and he was healed after that seventh dip. 💞💖

For most overworked, stressed, and earthly centered people, the simple act of lighting the candle will bring your mind a bit out of the chaos. Similar to getting down on your knees. Most of my prayers are sitting in my truck on the side of the road. Every person has their place. Remember Mathew 6.8. We are all God's children. But we are adults. Lets us be respectful of each other.

what i like about this short film is that as soon as she actually starts praying, she breaks down crying. even just carrying those emotions and then being able to release it, is worth the $1.68 imo

The most Prosperity Gospel film I have ever seen!!! Christian movies Have some great films. But I am shocked they include this one! God is good, but that doesn't mean He will give you whatever you want!

OK, everyone, let’s take it to the beginning. The Feature film is written and starts when a different event happened to me. 30 years ago in January I had placenta previa and toxemia, it had taken me seven years to get pregnant. I was about to lose my baby, I hemorrhaged and then everything changed, my life flashed in front of me. I know what happened, but I didn’t tell anyone I blew it off. I had a beautiful baby boy and life was good, but it was different. Eventually it led to the White candle story that’s all I can say.

Coming from someone who goes through comments before seeing a movie, i almost didn’t see this one after reading several comments here. However, after seeing the movie, i realised the message was clear; perhaps misinterpreted by some. Some people are visual in nature and that goes to their sense of worship. That was God's way of reaching her and it worked. Might not work for others, but as shown in the story, it worked for her. It didn’t look like she'd have to purchase another white candle after that one got exhausted as that would mean totally depending on it. It was only intended to get her talking to God. This is my interpretation and i dare say i was blessed. Great job, cast and crew.

I looooooove Jesus! He's so worderfully gracious, merciful and loving... Amazing Grace! He knows every heart and He speaks to each one in need as they can be reached in the moment with His soothing voice. He's so lovely as a good Shepherd to the weak and the sinners. He is severe only to religious, prejudiced and legalistic... like the Pharisees. May we be found among the needy hearts, the ones who know they deserve nothing, but need grace!

I'm excited to see the full length movie. Many people are overwhelmed with life, may have forgotten how to pray, or even not sure where to begin. Everyone's journey is different and this movie will reach the right people who need the reminder that God loves them, that they can surrender to Him, and their life can be filled with his grace, forgiveness, and most importantly His love! If more people shared their stories, more people would be reached with God's goodness. Too many people wear masks that everything is all right, when they are really drowning. 🥰 Thank you for making a difference by sharing your story!! I know God has a plan for this and it will reach many who need the message!

Do not believe that lighting a candle will make your prayers heard. That is Catholic practice- false religion (which I was for 36 years). I grew up with those candles. Obey the Lord only! Repent, be born again and be baptized in His Holy Spirit! Abide in Him. He listens to His children and answers when they cry out. Hallelujah! 🙌🏻

Good to see so many having discernment in the body. A little leven spoils the doe. Compromise is a slippery slope. What next ? make a statue and pray to it to get closer to God. Error is error, it will never lead to truth.

Honestly speaking this is the most unscriptural movie I have watched at this channel. God is spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. You cannot restrict God to something physical like a prayer candle

@GodisGracious1031 I saw that too. It's also been used in witchcraft, way before the establishment of the RCC. I do believe many catholics are born again, so I hope I'm not offending anyone. But NOBODY should put what the Pope says above the Holy Scriptures. In fact, he contradicts a lot of the Word. That's why it's so important to read the Bible for ourselves. (You don't need a study Bible either.) If we're biblically illiterate, we have no protection from those who lead us into error. I have a lot of problems with the Roman Catholic Church. I've also got a lot of problems with many Protestant churches too - & seminaries. So many pastors, teachers, and seminary professors aren't even born again, or have a Biblical world view. They don't even believe in the supernatural. Most of them & most of us are very ill-prepared for the dark days ahead & the infestation of demons that's here and still coming. I pray that God will wake them up! My sister and I saw the most obviously demon-possessed person in the tiny town of Monmouth, Oregon on 8/29/2022 when we stopped for fast food. It was shocking to see how little human was left in her(?)face. I had a closeup look from 2 feet away as she(?) spoke to me from just outside our vehicle. It wasn't makeup, and it wasn't drugs. She(?) just looked like she had hundreds of demons. Funny thing was, I could sense them from 50 ft away without ever having seen her face yet. I started praying & commanding them in Jesus name. When she arrived at our car and turned to face us - hoping to shock and scare us - that was immediate confirmation I was right. For about the last year I've been praying not only for wisdom but also discernment. Especially spiritual discernment, discernment of spirits, and discernment of the nearness to the Rapture. I'm so grateful to the Lord for answering those prayers! I highly recommend them to everyone. And it helps to ask for an obedient, forgiving heart that is quick to repent. Seeing somebody that looks like that person we saw would convince ANYBODY that demon possession is very real. If demons are real, angels are too. Heaven is real & so is Hell. People need to quit playing church, and get about the business of spiritual warfare. Time is running out, & the evil ones are not trying to hide anymore. Time to put on the full armor of God and get in the battle! And I suggest obedience be another weapon in our battle. Don't give the enemy an inch! And I wrote this with others in mind, not you particularly. :^) Have a very blessed day.

Jesus Christ is the light of the world. How many times people light candles to relax in a bubble bath, or breath in the scents. Lighting a candle represents Christ, who is the light of the world. Thank you for the reminder to take time to spend with the Lord, cry out to Him if you have to, and then remember to thank Him.

and repentance, baptism, etc aside, it doesn’t mean this story isn’t beautiful. It’s literally her calling out to God to start* making things work. Whether you believe she received the holy spirit or not is up to you and your beliefs. but Think of this like an intro to something bigger.

Nice little film , I enjoyed it , but yea no prayer candles needed , He hears them , He is with us if we are with Him and I cant tell you just how many times He has sorted my problems . God is Good ALL the Time and ALL the Time God is God :)

Candles aren’t evil. Candles represent the light in the darkness. When you see the light you think of goodness, love and God and everything beautiful. So, you see, it’s just something to help you focus. If you - don’t need a focus and you’re not distracted and you don’t feel like you’re in chaos, then fine, but some people need a focus. Some people when they want to pray… look at a cross or walk in a garden or sit on a beach. They are not worshipping those places. Jesus is the light of the world. and he told us before he left that we must shine too. We must be salt and light in the world , especially for carrying his gospel.

Praying with candles just sets a beautiful setting to spend time with the Lord. Theraputic

I He said just pray she may got busy. .but her mind was stormed by buying a candle & she started & continued everytime to see it.. objects are just for our assistance as humans not for God to respond.. So.. all the methods that can help are accepted by God .. anyone who find it not helping can just through himself in God's hug during prayer directly. . We love each other when we tell the truth. Nothing is needed outside of the comforter Himself which is the Holy Spirit. You can never say you love someone when you see them going down a path of unrighteousness and turn your head because of your idea of false love. You are fooled if you say so.

We must lead people to Truth in love WITH love, this is my material point. By no means am I a Liberal Christian, I know The Word and are guided by it and The Holy Spirit alone. In walking so, we must obey it's command, including thst command to bear with one another, especially as we mature in the Faith. I have been Blessed by many 'wise counsellors' in my life who continue to point me back to The Way in love, when I err (especially when Zelous for The Word!). This is why I urged that The Truth be given in Love and confirmed the forthright declarations were correct. In this short film, Christ commands the woman to buy a candle and in desperation (and obedience), she does so. She is not alone in being ordered to do something that we see as being "strange" or "unnecessary", Noah, Abraham, Jonah and Saul/Paul are the examples that spring immediately to mind! I don't know about you, but if The LORD commanded that I do something for Him, I'm going to do it! I pray that this confirms to you in love, that you are in the company of Christ's Body with me and that my confirming Truth in love is from Him. May Christ's joy and peace fill your heart and mind today x

Some of you miss one of the basic messages......no one is saying you all must light a candle...but FOR THIS WOMAN a candle is a symbol to pray!!!!

The main point was I was on the fence, I wasn’t completely believing in God. I believed in a higher power until this event happened to me. After this happens, I was able to share and help others get off the fence.

A message is not true merely because it was presented well. How many people have a spooky experience, pray, and nothing happens? People only remember when a piece of bread lands on the jam side.

I can definitely confirm that this movie was created to lead Christians into heresy; to move you away from worshipping God in truth and in spirit. This is in the realms of anyone who would give advice to pray with sage or incense. The name of Jesus and faith in Him is enough. Jesus Christ is the way and we are to follow His example to be reconciled to God. God always listens when we pray. This movie is absolutely ungodly. Discernment has become absolutely important now more than ever as a Christian. These movies are created to intentionally mislead us.

I am shocked to see a corrupt presentation of 'another Gospel' on a channel under the name of the Christiano Brothers. Jesus is not a "saint", as the movie presented, He is THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD. Also we are called to repent before God and receive forgiving grace. Candle prayers with images of the alleged picture of Jesus is nothing more than idolatry. God is also not a charm for personal enrichment. How many true believers have suffered poverty because of faithfulness to the Almighty? Shame on you for helping to spread such lies.

Rob the lamp, pray to the candle and you wish poof comes true. Why would you need to pray to a candle when you can pray right to Jesus? When people prayers are not answered like this they lose hope. It’s just a well meaning bad message

You all are missing the point. This is a direction given to her to do. And God was testing her Obedience. First if she will believe the messenger of God. How many times have a pastor not tell people God want to to do this? Many people take it for granted. You remembered the woman with elisha that only had the flour to feed her and her son. And the man of God asked her to give it to him to eat. And that was her last. Probably the $1.25 was Sharon's last and God wanted to see how Obedience she would be. Also many people don't know but the bible says before the prayer of saints reach ro God, the incense has to be burn in heaven to purify the prayer. Before God can answer. There is alot that go into prayer.

Awe, thank you. I really appreciate your comment. This scene happened to me Word for Word at a time when I had no idea how he’s going to pay my bills I share it all the time and many people who are on the fence take that leap of faith and see how God works and it changes their lives.

You never need a candle by praying because Jesus is the light the truth and the life. God says noting on earth of in heaven you have to bow down for. Even a candle with a picture of Jesus. And the man who luke like Jesus !!!. With sandals.!!! Jesus wit modern sandals.??? Jesus is in His Holly place now He don't put His feet on this dirty world anymore.Because the world is full of sin. When Jesus' return is not to tell you what you have to do in your live to get money.. Jesus returns is to separately the good from the bad.and make an end of this terrible sinners world and part the good from the bad to judge them for ever. So its not the candle that you need. What you need is a good heart. And abide Only The Almighty God. The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. pray is talking to God. With your own words. I know that sometimes people need something to be lead to the real Christian community. I was baptized in 2008 and it was wonderful. But not all people are the same.

You can access God through spirit and truth. Candle sounds like a witchcraft to me

The white candle to me is just a point of contact with the Lord it may help keeping one focused I like the idea. In acts 19 verse two it says people will take a handkerchief from Peter and go lay it on someone as a point of contact for healing there is not necessarily any difference. It’s just a small, tangible way to meet Jesus some need fleeces some need a scripture out of the Bible, but I like it. to me, it could represent that Jesus is the light of the world, and I am praying to the light of the world not to a candle.

I think this movie has Chatolic form.because we don't need a lighting candle to talk with God Definitely not.
