Man, same here, there was just something hearing Lan tell Nynaeve 'I will forever hate the man you choose and love him if he makes you smile' just brought in so many feels it made me tear up a little, and here I am only finished til book nine right now

“The prophecies will be fulfilled. The dragon is reborn” .... Damn Moiraine! The tears came out at that moment. And you did a great job with the music accompanying those last word. Beautiful.

I wouldn’t hold my breath on that. There are going to be so many cuts, and “inclusive” casting (which we’ve already seen) that this will be a debacle.

Well they've already done away with Rand being with all three of his wives, so they're changing core aspects of the series to pander to PC sensibilities. Which means the writers are compromised and the outcome will not be the best it could.

@@TechnoMinarchist Just so you know, the showmaker (Rafe Judkins) confirmed that Rand will still have three wives many months ago :) lol. Rafe did hint that the Rand/Min/Elayne/Aviendha relationship will be more polyamorous than polygamous though...check out Twitter @WoTonPrime for real info.

Love it! Shared with all my WoT friends immediately lol. While I'm pleased that you used Michael Kramer and Kate Readings audio book voices, there are some characters whose voices are difficult to distinguish if you don't have the context of having read the books. Hopefully that doesn't throw off anyone too much. Particularly towards the end, Rand and Ba'alzamon's lines going back and forth.

Daniel waugh, well it's not going to be a movie. The scriptwriters are super fans of the books so i have high hopes they can do them justice. Then again, it will be an adaptation and some things will get lost in translation from page to screen.

I'm just breaking into fantasy, and actually just breaking into reading in general again since the 90s. Heard about this one and came across this video. What a great way to get a sense of the flavour of the book. I need to find a similar video for the Mistborn series, as the cover arts conflict with each other in my head. In one it depicts a girl with daggers and a high fantasy look while the second has... a guy in a suit holding a gun? What? Need context lol.

@@dereklynch5304 I didn't realize it at the time but the "second one" is actually the first of a sub-trilogy. Knowing that all 3 of the original Mistborn novels are set in the same age put my mind at ease. It's just the way the Indigo website had it laid out that made it look like it was the sequel.
