This orchestral arrangement is the soundtrack of human race. If a song defines us as a species, is this one. Vulnerability, every single note is the equivalent of a tear streaming down our faces. Rob Simonsen created the biggest representation of how the finest pieces of art can come from the highest level of pain and suffering

"In the amazing book, Moby Dick, by the author Herman Melville, the author recounts his story of being at sea. In the first part of his book, the author, calling himself Ishmael, is in a small seaside town and he is sharing a bed with a man named Queequeg. The author and Queequeg go to church and later set out on a ship captained by a pirate named Ahab, who is missing a leg, and very much wants to kill the whale which is named Moby Dick, and which is white. In the course of the book, the pirate Ahab encounters many hardships. His entire life is set around trying to kill a certain whale. I think this is sad because this whale doesn’t have any emotions, and doesn’t know how bad Ahab wants to kill him. He’s just a poor big animal. And I feel bad for Ahab as well, because he thinks that his life will be better if he can just kill this whale, but in reality, it won’t help him at all. I was very saddened by this book, and I felt many emotions for the characters. And I felt saddest of all when I read the boring chapters that were only descriptions of whales, because I knew that the author was just trying to save us from his own sad story, just for a little while. This book made me think about my own life, and then it made me feel glad for my...."

Simplemente epico, uno de los mejores soundtracks que he oído en una película en toda mi vida, muy épico, motivador y profundo. Ha sido perfecto para esta gran película.

Great reminder that we should never abandon our kids. Even if the marriage looks like dead end, re-evaluate if it is really that bad. In the end of the movie, Charlie remembers their visit to Oregon beach as one of the happiest times of his life.

I wish the movie finished with his daughter using the money to call an ambulance, that way good in humanity and the chance to change people would have been proven and he succeeded. But perhaps there is no good or bad, just lives fading, time lapsing, as he read from one of his students "I am prepare to realize life is not going to be as exciting as I expected" and that´s true honesty.

When I started watching this movie I had a really hard time as I was disgusted by this guy, but then as the movie went on I start to realize more and more that this guy is a lot like me! Only I'm not fat, but it's like me in the future if I keep going down the same way I'm going right now. It was scary and a real wake up call

This soundtrack is beautifully done, but I felt like it was a bit over the top in the film at times. The music itself is lovely, but it seemed a bit obnoxious at times in the film in my opinion. Hope people get what I mean.

I thought it fitted perfectly.. tbh the first time I watched the film I didn't actually notice the music too much. The other times I watched it, I took notice to it and loved how it was used. Sounds like the ocean 🙂
