I find the best place to put the large FT monument is in an aquatics farm area. If you built it well, it should have constant water.

Building a pile for logs beside your new crater construction will greatly speed things up. Another for planks for the floodgates. Metal if putting in pumps too. Gears & paper for the later windmills... Less travel time for Builders. More travel for Haulers, who are better at it.

It's true. I tend to just put storage where there is room instead of where the projects are. Not sure how many haulers we have at this point, but when we catch back up in numbers of beavers, this will be a much better plan.

Tip for campfire happiness - put one space between each one and put in shrubs/scarecrows/lampposts/etc in between them so they get multiple buffs at the same time.

Even better is to put each of those on every house top (hopefully in stacks of housing).. Then you Know that Everyone is covered.
