I remember when NOBODY knew what the Weeknd looked like until this video came out and everyone went crazy because at the time nobody wanted to believe he actually sounded like this . Like they couldnt match the way he looks with the way he sounds. Now everyone knows his signature sound and the way his voice is and its almost IMPOSSIBLE to not recognize him immediately today. although starboy is good, this is the REAL weeknd. The one who connects to souls with dark and meaningful lyrics. His old songs are the ones where the lyrics just slowly sink in and you realize what meaning it has. The 'new' weeknd is good, however the old weeknd will always be the real legend.

this is the first song I ever heard from Abel. It’s a masterpiece, just like trilogy.

honestly I went through beauty behind the madness before trilogy. Wicked Games and High for this and The Morning were some of the songs I knew , but I didn’t complete hearing trilogy until I finished beauty behind the madness. After that I heard all of starboy. But it depends on which of Abel’s styles you prefer. Trilogy is , and will always be the top for me , but you really need to dig deep into the lyrics and the beat to actually enjoy it and understand it. If you’re going to start with BBTM I suggest Dark Times , Angel , Acquainted , there are more but I’m just naming a few.

The greatest idol and most important legend of his type. Outstanding among his Fellows. He is a superior Masterpiece and his fully working artistic talent absolutely shows his amazing ability and wonderful place he has undeniably forever in Musical Artistry. The perfected vision of Drake meant to complete and show the transformation The Pop Music Genre has really taken...... DRAKE IS SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE DAY. and The Weekend is just like night.. Nostalgic. I was in a dark place as a 16 year old listening to this. I was doing drugs and lost in PTSD. The Weeknd’s music literally was there with me through the good and bad and was the only way I could heal was through his music, we connected it’s like he knew my pain.
