Drake flexes his money a lot more than Abel does. They both are worth well over $300 million though. Both signed massive new deals with UMG over a year ago and although the figures have not been released Drake has implied it was 100s of millions. Abel also resigned a massive deal that probably is at least as big as Drake. Plus Abel is averaging over $7 million per show on his tour with over 65 sold-out stadiums so far. I figure he must clear at least $3.5 million after expenses and profit sharing so that alone is a couple hundred million for him. Drake makes shit tons of money off his gambling sponsorship and rarely even tours now because he does not have to. Also, Drake has two mansions worth over $50 million. One in LA and one in Toronto. Abel has his $70 million dollar mansion and also has a second secret mansion that he stayed at while filming The Idol.
As a music artist weeknd is fabulous but as a business personality drake is on whole another level …

It does not say about The Weeknd's venture investments, his 2 projects with HBO, where he is a director, his XO label and much more. The Weeknd, in one of the songs from the Dawn FM album, said that he makes "a quarter of a billion in a bad year." And all over the world he is more famous than Drake, Drake hasn't even had a single stadium tour.

@@c4z. He has the most streamed song in the history of Spotify, the most monthly listeners in history (114M), outside the US and Canada everyone heard about Starboy and Blinding Lights. The Weeknd's 6-year-old albums chart above Drake's latest albums. In 2018, I would say that Drake is more popular, but at the moment - definitely not. I think the peak of Drake's career was in 2016-2018.

The weeknd is way more talented as an artist than drake but drake is smarter business man. Abel was smart enough to be friends with drake and gained so much traction for the first move.

The weeknd is better and he’s a humble millionaire
The diffrence is drake is 3 years older and is done with his career, Abel just got started in 2020 and has now broken the spotify streaming record as well as monthly listners in almost all major streaming sites.

Drake in particular, said on a song when he has 500M he will move back to Canada. Then Nicki Minaj in 2021 or last year, was sent a jet by Drake around the OVO what what fest, she saw it fit to film the jet sounding impressed claiming that Drake is a billionaire but he doesn't want anyone to know. Just for the last Drake in his recent album has a line that go "500M for Aubrey" sounding like he has a 500M dollar contract somewhere ontop of all this
