Do you guys realize what he is saying? It’s is very nicely written. I’ve played the song on repeat. He’s talking about getting back with someone he used to date (permanently or for a night). He’s saying remind me “you are the best I’ve ever had.” “Once you put your pride aside call me” “don’t you miss me babe?” I know you’ve been working on a new relationship but once you put your pride aside (likely because he broke up with her) try me again. He’s second guessing his break up and wants his ex to lower their pride and try him again. It’s so good. I don’t think people are commenting enough on the lyrics which are masterful.
