Twenty Eight is called that because it's the 28th song in his Trilogy. The original versions of the 3 tapes only have 9 songs a piece. Glad you're getting the full versions. I know your views and everything are gonna increase off this. Depending on how it goes, XO is gonna flood your hours viewed, ma. We here for it.

House of Balloons - so dope of him to have performed this at the Super Bowl. Glass Table Girls - the 707 is a large glass table for the coke lines.

He made classics and no skip projects. I promise this will be good in ANOTHER DECADE. ♥️ And at the time yes I was high for it. 🤣

Gotta love dudes transitions... He basically mastered it. Party/After Party is great but the transition in that and into Coming Down is legendary and he uses it throughout most of his albums. You'll find more that are even better than these...

The Morning (2011) - Cali is the mission Snowchild from After Hours (2020) - "Cali was the mission but now a nigga leaving" Full circle and growth.

Just want to point out that Abel was 20 years old when he wrote this.

The Party and the After Party is one of the best songs I've ever heard. House of Balloons is a true classic! In my top 3 albums!!!

I have listened to all his albums, up until dawn fm. I don't think there is even a single song that tops it. The party and the after party is his all time best . Hearing him sing it way before making it, cemented its spot for me. And the fact that its 7 minutes, makes me wonder how he managed to create it.

Wicked Games was the "breakout single" from the tape. Classic

Loft Music was a freestyle. He was just harmonizing like you said. He has another song called Gone you'll come to find on the next album that was a freestyle where he admits to being so Gone that he doesn't remember what he actually said in the booth lol

All of his music/albums are apart of a continuous story from first to final track. Every previous song leads into the next like the next page in a book. It's why he calls his albums "Chapters"

The Knowing is the very first song/video I ever heard from him. That song changed my life. Been a fan ever since that day in November 2011. I hate you edited out the part where he said "I'ma let you taste her. I ain't washing my sins." I wanted to see your reaction lol. I don't like this version of What You Need. The original was haunting and pulls you in. Aaliyah Rock the Boat sample and Abel's distanced vocals was mesmerising and seductive
