While watching this movie, I had the sadness of my WAEC result at heart. I had tried my best to keep my mind off the thought that I failed. I thought God had failed me. To think I decided not to cheat to pass believing God would help. I really tried my best to read for the exams. When I got to the part where Marvy's mom told him the wine of his marriage was finished, God made me relate it to my WAEC results. My wine was finished. My guests(family, teachers, and friends) already asking for wine do not know it is finished. I have nothing to give them except water. Then, when it got to the time she asked Marvy to go serve his wife-to-be the water, God told me same. I'm gonna do just that. I'll serve my guests the water I have while I wait for the turning to wine. God has really used this movie to bless me today. May God bless all those who contributed in making this movie a reality. Amen!

I can't stop crying...this is just how God turned my marriage around...we did enter with past secrets that would have destroyed us in the long term...but one week in, God exposed it all and we both decided to lean on God...only God healed my heart from unforgiveness and bitterness within 3 months (mind you I was also guilty but decided to play the victim). So yes! When God has a purpose for your marriage He definitely will make sure a new wine is poured into a new wine skin.

"The wine is finished, and Jesus is still turning water to wine", that part got me crying... I fell down and asked Jesus to help me. My foundation is the old wine. I believe Jesus is still doing miracles. I am dropping my comment here, so I can look back by December this year and see the fresh wine Jesus has brought to my life by reason of my sincere prayer and cry for help. I am feeling this way because you can't put a fresh wine in an old jar, it will break. So I am letting Jesus have his way in my life. Thank you Mount zion movies Again

Watching this movie fully today, a few lessons to pic 1. Don't hide things, past and all - make sure you unveil everything even if its bit by bit. 2. You must talk about the hard things, it's better someone loves you for who you are than who you are pretending to be. Otherwise the day the find out, you will not find peace. 3. You must be willing to forgive if you want relationships to work. Thank you Mt. Zion for saying yes to God and beginning this ministry. You're doing a good job. Love from Zed🇿🇲

What an amazing movie! Full of deep messages. It doesn't matter how horrible your past is, where you are coming from, your background.... when you truly surrender your all to jesus and give him who you are (give him your water) through scarficing and letting go, he is ready to change you, give you a new and better life, a hope, a better future and he will turn your water into wine. Also, i understood that the more a person resist and hold things in their heart, (not forgiving), they are living in a complete mess and can not find mercy and favour in the presence of God. It is only when we let go of everything we have and forgive those who hurt us despite the pain, that when christ is able to come in and transform us completely and also forgive us of our own sins too. Another thing i learnt again from the movie is to always open up to your spouse and also to God most importantly, its better to reveal yourself and allow people to accept you for who you are rather than being fake and not being accepted. Thank you once again MZFM for always blessing us, and impacting many lives through your movies. May God continue to use you, more annoiting ijn🔥

The dialogues between Marvin and Gabby is perfect. I can't just understand so much secrecy unfolding, meeting friends and family for the first time some days before the wedding for a couple who courted for 5 years? While old things have passed away and all have become new, we should confess our sins and past to one another so as not to give the accuser of the brethren materials to work with in our relationships. It was a good movie.

Season Two. Valerie's beau repents and spills the beans in his church. He has to step down from the diaconate and his wife, furious & feeling humiliated, moves out-of-state, taking his twin sons with her ... Forget water, the man is drinking salt. Valerie takes up with a Nigerian senator who is laundering public funds in his overseas businesses. He is also a cultist .... Marvin is made redundant. He needs money for his son's medical treatment. He desperately needs money for his son's medical treatment. He bumps into Valerie, now a "fixer" for politicians, who offers him a huge sum of "easy" money if he agrees to run a couple of errands. Meanwhile, Gabby has the same recurring nightmare....

My dear, the role of Mother is powerful to turn around things. The way she handled the scriptures from the physical to application and Jesus finished up with the water turned wine scene was amazingly expressed. I have cried over and over. Come to think of it, I love Gabi acting performances. Her gestures killed it all from the beginning to the end. Mavvy, you are a genius actor. Every character was amazingly spoke well, dressed well, gesturised well, in fact the production team did well and the serenity was superb and top notch for ever. I love you all.

Great movie!!! I was really blessed. However, I feel like there needs to be a Part 2 to tidy up the situation with Valerie. She is hurting too and her life seems completely ruined. My heart yearns for her and the persons/people her character represents. She is human not a 'demon' and she is hurting, she needs Jesus, she needs salvation, she needs redemption, healing and restoration too. God loves people like Valerie and Jesus died for us all, he is able to restore their peace and joy if they surrender completely to him. Just like the woman at the well, he can give them the living water. Jesus can heal their broken hearts and broken lives and make them whole again. Thank you Jesus.

She hasn’t forgiven Marvin, and she hasn’t forgiven herself and yes she needs the saving grace of Jesus Christ to heal her body. I hope they have a part 2 so they can show her what Jesus loves looks like. She also needs the water to turn into wine in her life.

I agree with you, Jesus should be presented to Valerie. Then she can choose to accept or decline. Both Marvin and Garby should apologize, Marvin's past ruined her, Garby was selfish not to have considered her when she used her words against her. She only expressed the human part of her. They should also intercede for her, because God didn't love Marvin and hate Garby to have favoured one and neglected the one. So this part should be expressed too but regardless it's awesome

It's important for young/intending couples to always tell each other everything about them and their past so that they can know what they're going into, no secrets and so let them choose you for who you are. Forgiveness also is very important as we are instructed to forgive regardless of the offence and emotions. Thank you Mount Zion for this timely and holy spirit inspired movie. ❤

I totally agree with you. I have been immensely blessed by this film ministry, but I’m disappointed by the way Valerie’s story arc played out. The life she lives and the threats she made came from a place of deep hurt and betrayal by Marvin. I agree that old things have passed away in Christ, but Marvin got to be in that space because someone compassionately preached to him and lead him to Christ. Even if Marvin was not inclined to extend that same compassion towards Valerie based on their shared past, he could have at least shown remorse and offered a heartfelt apology as a sign of validation for her feelings, and steps towards peaceful resolution at a more appropriate time. I was also disappointed by Gabby’s response to Valerie at the end before she walked out of the hotel. This was someone who fIew in from a far distance to support her friend at short notice, only to have that same friend scorn her in the heat of anger. Where was Gabby’s loyalty to her friend after her marriage had been restored? This movie totally lost the plot at the end by allowing Valerie to walk out of their lives without any meaningful step towards reconciliation taking place. Jesus was called to the lost and broken hearted; this movie denied such ministry to the person who I believe needed it the most😢.

Okay! Shout out to the entire production team for this wonderful timely message. The casts did a great job acting. The sound, lighting and cinematography was topnotch. I appreciate the fact that the movie was direct to the point and addressed matters that are sometimes overlooked, like secrecy in relationship, unforgiveness, and deception. My favourite scene is when Marvin's father had a dream about his house being messy. It was revelationarily amazing. However, I feel like the movie didn't do justice to Valerie, because Marvin didn't show sufficient remorse or profer any solution to the consequences of his relationship with her, and Gabby didn't portray true friendship to her. I'm not saying Valerie didn't have her flaws, but it wasn't entirely her fault that she went through what she did go through. The movie made it seem like Valerie was completely wrong, and she wasn't given an opportunity to get healing. It's more like she kept living in guilt, remorse and shame while her best friend moves on with the man who ruined her life. I truly hope that there's a second part to this movie, where Valerie is healed and forgiven, and gets to forgive the people who have hurt her, because there are several people in Valerie's shoe out there who don't know how to go about their life the way God wants it to go. This movie could be their guide if this part is considered. Once more, shout out to @damilolamikebamiloye and the entire mount zion movie crew and flaming sword ministries. I wish to attend the mount zion film academy soon.

Well pointed out. Valerie is being made to look like the devil. A lot of persons playing the bad girl and bad boy in relationships is because of treatment like this. There must be a part two or short sequel

I can't help but shed tears in the last scene I also started laughing when Marvin took a glass of water and when Marvin's mom presented another cup when she saw the seemingly foolish act was working. Jesus indeed turns water to wine. It's beautiful to know that no matter how ugly our past is, it can be turned around Glory to God who always give us another chance.
