With everything he's been through, that's nothing.

Actually, most of the "living world" was done in different shades of pale blue, while the underworld was something of a jazzy nightclub with more colours than a saturday morning cartoon.

have to admit... this was THE happiest zombie apocalypse that the world of the living experience !! thanks to Tim Burton !!

It's always interesting to look at the corpses to assume how they died. The kitchen staff obviously got into either a nasty fight or a freak accident. The two children most likely died from tuberculosis. Which was common back then. The Prussian general was killed by a cannon ball. The French soldier was killed by a sword. The barber was stabbed in the head with his own scissors. Most likely a robbery gone wrong. And the French waiter is obviously death by the giulitine. The only one I can't pinpoint is the man sawed in half. How could it have happened and so perfectly?

I know of a type of punishment used a long time ago, it involves putting the person upside down so that the blood rushes to his/hers head and keeps them awake while sawing them in half.

The movie was set back to the early 1800's well actually legend takes place during the crystal knock in Germany, where brides were on there way to there weddings and were murder and barried in shallow graves. Some of history's first recognized hate crimes the Jewish bride murders. As it is told in the legend the groom was traveling to his brides hometown when him and his friend were goofing around doing the wedding march to what looked to be a stick. Emily's story is also a reminder to what brides maids were before they were your friends in colored dresses, there woman dressed as brides to protect the actual bride as murders wouldn't be able to tell who was the bride and who wasn't.

It took place actually in the 1800s because in the song according to plan victors parents say how they are going to have tea with the queen so we know that Queen Victoria was the only queen back then. We also know it took place in England between 1850-1890 also Tim burton gave us hints because they named Victoria Everglot after the Queen Victoria
