There I was.. attending my first Leonard Cohen concert at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam on the 21th of August 2012, I was 18 back then. Before the show I was hoping (t)he(y) would only be half as good as the 'Live in Londen' CD/DVD from 2008. From the first until the very last note Leonard and his band were sublime!... Chills and tears were all over me during that night... On August 22nd he did another show at the same venue and I was lucky enough to get a ticket (1 of the last!) for that show too! After I witnessed how great they (still) were during the first night, I made the choice to experience it again. And I was NOT sorry!.... After I read the news about Leonard working on a new album, I'm silently hoping for another (last?...) tour......

I am glad for you. i never knew he existed when he was alive.A year and then some after hes death I discovered him and i am hooked since then. He was absolutely amazing person. I don't think many people realize/appreciate that. I feel very sad for all of us.

My wife and I have been lifelong fans of LC since his debut. Otherwise I tend to favour female musicians - "Wailin' Wimmin" as the wife would have it. The only exception was the Webb Sisters, whom she loved. Sadly my wife died shortly before Leonard. These songs never fail to bring the tears, so reminiscent of her.

Beautifully sang.I love the body language between the three.Noticed this also at earlier concerts, as if he is encouraging them !

I just saw LC and the Sisters in Milwaukee and while it was an amazing show, they didn't do this one, so glad I got to hear it here. They did do "If It Be Your Will" in the lengthy encore, however!

Just wanted to point out that there is no other instrument then the harp fitting more to her. Almost a bit like she wants to just rub it the fact the she actually is an angel....said the atheist.
