Transport you to another world is right. I listen to her every day and am torn between watching the videos or just listening to them. She is now 19 years old and her voice is maturing, if you can believe that! Lucy's video of her singing 'Smile' with her mother and sister was done just a few months ago, and 'A Brand New Day' is a song she was asked to do for a new TV series. Enjoy!

Lucy has amazing breath control. Ex: Near the end she goes back to very light lyrics then slips effortlessly into the humming and continues quite a while before taking a breath. She does that in a lot of her videos. I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment. Her voice has a lot of depth and when she reaches down low sometimes you can almost feel the vibration in your chest.

Always perfect performance, amazing talent - 4 albums to catch up on and none of the songs will disappoint. 'The Prayer' with her sister Martha is out of this world.

I first heard her when Bruddah Sam did a reaction to her and her sister Martha, almost two years ago, singing "You Raise Me Up". At that time I started suggesting her to Brad, Jacob and You, to no effect. Glad you finally discovered her. She gave me a Karen Carpenter vibe in this.

Don't know where she stores all that breath. Coming out of the bridge she sings a soft word and then goes right into more lyrics without taking a breath. Amazing.

Lucy is going to help bring back the new era of Hollywood musicals. She is destined for the big screen, and her showtunes are going to be a huge draw. When you see her videos recorded at age 13 all the ay up to this one and see the amazing progression of her abilities to both sing and to act with deep emotion, you'll join her fan club waiting for the big day when she takes the stage.

She is 18 years old now and has been recording since under 10. You really should check her YT channel out and listen to other covers and some originals from the upcoming musical 'Rosie'. You won't be disappointed. She also has 4 CD's out and many of us have been following her for years now. p.s. She was also a contender of the Voice Kids 2018 and she has a younger sister, Martha, who does some beautiful duets with Lucy. You have GOT to check out all her videos.

Lucy does almost always look like she on a Broadway stage. You should try her previous release "Broken Dreams". It's from the upcoming play Rosie that, word has it, Lucy will be starring in. She has several videos of songs from Rosie and almost all of them feature her in period dresses.

Dennis, watched this one again and just realized this was the first time for you hearing Lucy. Right from the get-go you were amazed with Lucy and her voice. All kinds of wow's and other exclamations of astonishment about what you were hearing and seeing. I've been following Lucy for some time now, and I still have a hard time keeping it together, particularly at the depth of her voice and her very well controlled vibrato (so perfect it could have been generated by a machine/computer). Of course it's not it's just Lucy's control. WOW

How can you not like this young woman touches every fiber of your body

You should really check out her cover of "Hallelujah". This is a song that really shows how absolutely incredible for voice is. You should also check out her singing with her little 11-year-old sister Martha. The best song to listen to with the two of them is "You Raise Me Up".

@@wilburfinnigan2142 tsk... I'm not the one with his head in the sand. Lucy is good, but she needs her own songs not re-makes of classics. Streisand was and IS a legend of Broadway, film and records. A TRUE triple threat. Lucy is good but Sissel- to name one- is better and can sing any genre in any language- 14 so far- pop, country, classical, opera, folk, jazz, you name it and Sissel sings it with greatness. Also, any of the ladies who tours with Celtic Woman is just as good as Lucy. Meav, Mairead Carlin and Lisa Kelly are even better. Lucy needs to step it up to make it to the big leagues.
