Lucy and Martha knew they got it perfectly right. You can see that. We all know Lucy and Martha are never going for the easy solution when they take a song on: it will always be a version which leaves us impressed. And luckely for us they are singing duets till this day, improving with every one. I wonder if Martha will ever take a solo song on. But that of course is a decision she has to make for herself. For now we have two wonderful singing sisters and Lucy is the solo singer. And Lucy is going straight forward: in March 2024 she will have her first concert, in Manchester (UK).

I would love to be able to see that concert, but just don't think it'll be possible. I'm going to try and hopefully make it to see Rosie next year tho. To be able to see Lucy sing in person would be an incredible experience!! I wish they would video tape the concert and offer it for sale as a CD, I would buy it in a second!

Each of them sounds angelic separately but when they hit the chorus together they create the sounds of heaven.

I agree with the many of those commenting here who have expressed feelings about your reaction and this incredibly gorgeous and amazing duet by Lucy and Martha. These two sisters are absolutely phenomenal! That being said, I also agree with the many here that recommend that you really must (if possible) react to Lucy and Martha's version of "Mary Did You Know". They have both progressed a lot since this "O Holy Night" video to a point where the new video is astonishing!! It would be a shame to have to wait for your reaction until next year.

I agree with the last couple of comments re the song they have just released "Mary Did You Know". I loved the Pentatonix version of this song but Lucy and Martha have just smashed it out of the ball park. Just fantastic and one I hope you will review.

"Mary Did You Know" was just released and wow you really have to check it out. In my opinion it is their best duet to date.

Just love how they’ve given us all a glimpse into the love their family has for each other. It’s vulnerable on their part and I’m thankful. My Christmas prayer is that all families could experience that! I really love your reactions especially of Lucy. She is my absolute favorite voice of all time! Juliet, it is not really fair to the other performers to play Lucy and Martha first. That is a bar too high for anyone else to reach. 😁 I thought that Lucy and Martha's version of O Holy Knight was the most beautiful and powerful Christmas song that I had ever heard. Then yesterday they released Mary Did You Know. I actually broke down and cried when I listened to it. I join many others who say that you just have to react to this song before Christmas is over. My favorite Lucy and Martha song is When You Believe from the Prince of Egypt! Their harmonies are as good in this song as in that one. I just love these 2 girls. They are so talented together. Lucy IS first fiddle but little Martha is a very close second fiddle. After all, Lucy is over 5 years ahead of Martha in development and maturity and there is obviously no sibling rivalry going on. Martha usually has the much more complicated harmony parts that she invariably aces. What I find most charming is the loving interaction between between the sisters throughout the song, subtle looks, a smile here, a smile here and there, and especially handshake and grin at the end...

Watching the girls do this song for the umpteenth time I was struck by the notion that where Lucy performs the song with passion and feeling ( as all great singers do ) Martha performs the song as though she was living it. I saw a couple of old videos of Martha at about 10 years old singing and she definitely has that actress vibe!

They are pitch perfect. A fabulous blend of timbre and vibratro.

They are two years older than they were on this performance, and their voices were almost beyond imagining. I would add, that these are all Chris Broom productions, which brings out the beauty of their voices.

I love YOSC’s analyses. The occasional moments with her dog I find adorable and brings a smile to me.

Just revisited - wrong season, have to do it again next December, but what is (and has always been) striking is their clear enunciation of every word. Always, in all their songs. This is possibly part of what makes them special, the lyrics hit home! The Thomas sisters always deliver lyrics that are clear, crisp and to the point. No muddling pronunciation there! This is also what makes Angelina Jordan special, her English lyrics are crystal clear and understandable, but English is NOT her first language, Norwegian is! Her Grandmother is Iranian so she will me conversant in Farsi, her grandfather was Japanese, she is likely NOT lost in that language either!

Hi Julliet you mentioned Marth´s pronunciation .Its her Lancastrian accent they always pronounce the hard G at the end of the word eg sinGinG. If you watch Lucy´s Run To You she speaks at the end you can get an idea of her accent. Their accents are not as strong as some.

Haha 😄 Wiganers have a language of our own. It’s slowly dying out which is a good thing, because outside Wigan region people would have difficulty understanding. Even so with correct pronunciation there remains a thick strong accent, so others can recognise where we are from. Which is the same for Liverpool and other regions. Lucy does have a Wigan accent much more so than her mother, not that you can hear it in her singing, but nothing wrong it that anyway. It’s our identity. Sooo it was my choice to stop ALL commenting and requesting reaction on Lucys music, he doesn't want my comments he does not get my support and promotion, and the irony is since the banning I have recieved the top 10% commenter Badge, And another "reward" title pertained to commenting. that I really thought "ironic", supposible the 5th of Jan the Ban will be over, we will see !!!!
