I met the actor who played the boss in that movie (the guy Bruce pushed into the chair). He opened a bar called The Bruce Lee Cafe in HK, spent a good few hours chatting with him about Bruce. Fascinating guy with some great stories.

Had a flashback to seeing this in the theater with one of my big brothers. We had an epic kung-fu fight when we got off the bus near home. For a moment, we were the most lethal 6 & 9 year old kids around. When I was much older (10), I saved up and bought a Bruce Lee poster - all stills from The Way of the Dragon: Bruce in the middle getting ready for round 2 in the colosseum fight scene, with smaller stills from the movie all around the outside. Love that campy 70s vibe - just wonder how far Bruce could have gone. (I'm pretty sure at age 82, as he would be today, he could still kick Brad Pitt's butt without breaking a sweat/that's a call out to once upon a time in hollywood - fyi)

The “Ah Lung, don’t bother yourself” was originally Chen telling him that the boss can’t understand what Tang Lung is saying (a major plot point is that Lung can’t speak English, but because this dub is entirely in English, this issue is totally lost so they just put _something_ there so that Chen’s mouth was not moving without her saying anything).
