In regards to the Great Rabbit, the way Felt (and some other stuff later on) talks about Subaru shows that the general public believes Subaru to be some ridiculously powerful person. The average person has a high chance of believing Subaru slayed the Great Rabbit. It's just not *officially* recognized, so it doesn't really help the Emilia Camp directly.

Just so you know, the light novel version of arc 5 has a lot of interesting changes and is generally regarded as superior (for this arc), so the anime adaptation might surprise you.

Sad to see all these people not get any examples so I'll list some off the top of my head, spoilers for the rest of arc 5: Less Liliana (due to people hating her), Emilia gets an opportunity to beat the hell out of Regulus, and Reinhard sends Regulus to the moon, all One Punch Man style.

In case you don't know, Rezero has *well over* 100 side-stories (not all translated currently; stuff like the EX novels isnt free). Since you're getting into the webnovel, you might want to check those out. They add a lot. Though, keep in mind that, depending on when you read them, some might spoil you. Also, some of them reveal certain information even before the main-story does, so you might like or dislike that.

it shows the gate cracking, but it doesn't have explicit mention of the gate being permanently broken as it does in the light novel/web novel

I really love wholesome moments in this phase. Without giving us the warmth of their relationship, we will never know how Subaru feels when this warmth is taken away from him. Also, I hope Crusch get over her brain thing

One of the best chapter in arc 5 was subaru and wilhelm talks about wilhelms wife and reinhart such a beatifull moment between those two.

Re:Zero is great honestly. Arc 5 is a great arc and arc 6 is an amazing arc. I can't wait for them to be animated.

Yeah I completely agree with you on character interaction. That’s what I lament about with the anime adaptation for re:Zero, because it’s usually interaction like these that are the first to get cut for time, and it leads many anime onlies to believe these characters are way more one-dimensional than they actually are. Also, if you don’t mind me asking, if you’ve read the cut content in the ending of arc 4, what are your thoughts on what Roswaal told Subaru about Meili? Any theories? When I read arc 4, I thought it was even more intriguing than the omega stuff, funnily enough.

Wait so did Roswaal kill Subaru or can he choose to RBD now? He just died and I'm not sure how. I remember in Arch 4 Roswaal gave Subaru a serious threat he would instantly kill him if anyone they cared about was harmed.
