The WATER is so BLUE!!! American Family is AMAZED at Tumalog Waterfall!
We loved our time in Oslob Cebu. After swimming with whale sharks and going out to Sumilon Island, we headed up to Tumalog Falls. It was beautiful! The water was so cool looking. It was some of the most milky water we have seen and it was so beautiful. The water cascaded down multiple levels and looked so pretty. It all looked a little like Avatar to us.
The hike down to the falls was fun. The hill was so steep and we knew it would be tough hiking back up. We could have taken a habal habal, but we decided to get the exercise instead. It was fun to see the falls in the distance. When we finally arrived, we were blown away at how beautiful it all was. It really was so stunning. We had fun swimming in the water and then getting under the falls. The water comes down so far that it hurt when it hit our backs. We got some great pictures and then found the lower pools had cleaner fish in them. It was fun to put our feet in and feel the tickle as they nibbled on our toes. Some of us could hardly stand it. It was fun to laugh and experience that together.
When we were done with the falls, we took the long trek back up the hill. It was amazing how steep it really was. At the end of our hike, we had fun seeing a few monkeys jumping around in the trees. The drive back down to the main road was gorgeous, we could even see Sumilon Island in the distance. To end our day, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and then took the long, bumpy ride home. It was an absolutely amazing day!

The Tumalog falls is unique among waterfalls because it is like being in a rain shower especially when there's lots of water. And the natural pool area is just refreshing. I enjoy watching your vlogs because your kids are entertaining and contribute to the content.

Yes 💯% Perfectly said! I've been to all these amazing and beautiful places in Cebu that you've mentioned here a few times. I love it all. And I've stayed in some of their luxury hotels and resorts in Mactan a few times already, like Shangri-La, Dusit Thani, Sheraton, Plantation Bay, J-Park resort, Abaca resort, Crimson, Movenpick, Tambuli, Solea, the Reef, Maribago, and Savoy, and I've also stayed in Bai Hotel in Mandaue and some beautiful hotels in Cebu City before, like Marco Polo Plaza, Seda, Citadines, Summit Galleria, Holiday Inn, and of course the new Fili Hotel in Nustar Resort and Casino. Very beautiful Cebu.

One thing that i've heard several foreign vloggers i've watched say is that the waters here are bluer that in other countries they've been to. I guess that goes for both sea and inland bodies of water. I think this is because of limestone particles floating in the water as this is what gives it that blue or turquoisy color. And i guess PH is just blessed with an abundance of this mineral (e.g. limestone cliffs in Palawan, Chocolate Hills in Bohol which are actually made up of marine limestone, etc.)

The ONLY reason I am posting this is NOT to disrespect the Philippnes but to give an HONEST assessment. Cebu is a city of great poverty , dirt and open sewers, there is nothing special about it at all. It is not attractive and Cebu itself does not have a good beach, the people who say it has are either trying to sell something or have never been any where else!

That trek!! I have been to Tumalog years back and that way from the drop off point to the falls is very steep and quite a hike too. It was scary to ride the motorcycle going down but I still picked that over the hike. 😂😂

for me, tumalog is such a unique, impressive waterfalls next stop would be the canyoneering in kawasan falls and trekking in the osmeña peak i am not sure if baby grace would be allowed to join in these 2 adventures osmeña peak is way much "easier" though compared to the canyoneering canyoneering in kawasan would definitely be the most memorable & the most unforgettable of all the adventures you'll experience it's a guarantee

You must go to Apo Island in Dumaguete so you could swim with the turtles. Also it’s best to scuba dive there :) then go to Siquijor after another Island near Dumaguete.
