I have the BB36 in black and SMP 300 as my two watch collection. When the BB36 is on, I don’t even realize it’s there. Though I like my SMP 300 more, the BB36 is an absolute stunner and future classic. It will never leave my collection. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Agree it's a great watch. I have the black version. Great build quality and the movement is accurate to 1-2 secs per day even though not COSC certified. My only issue is that I also have an Explorer 124270 and I wear that every day so the BB36 doesn't get worn now. I'm keeping it though.

@@cohan.forcer New Explorer is a step up as you would expect given the price difference. The bracelet taper took me a while to get used to but it's fine and the new bracelet is much better made than the old style version that I have on my 16570 Explorer 2 (although that one is still comfortable to wear). I do think the BB36 is a bit of a bargain though. It's also very easy to read under all light conditions.

@@jasons46 Only tested the new Explorer on a few occasions, peronally I feel the taper and the 19mm lug width brings more to the watch. 16570 is top 3 watches in my book - saving for it!

Just bought a black one used for a decent price to go with my Zulu time and C ward pro 600. Love the smile dial and snowflake aswell. Can’t wait!

I dont see Tudor going into the premium brand category. At most it would be close to Omega, currently its in line with Longines, Tag and Oris

Premium a bit exagerrated, but think they will find them self well above Oris, Tag and Longines. And close to wear Rolex were a couple of years back - only my opinion :)

@@cohan.forcer Tudor has the potential to rise. But I don’t think Rolex does as they don’t have any desire to move into higher horology. Their finishing is average and do not have any complicated movements… They will then run into the risk of cannibalising if they raise Tudors level too high up.
