The Warning started making music very young Paulina and Alejandra at 3 and Dany 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they want to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to KZread for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2013 and rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands, One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 19000000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show!. Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston. After completing Berklee The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album XXI Century Blood in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded Queen of the Murder Scene and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, Narcisista. A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. The Warning is totally fan funded through Patreon, KZread and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... Love these girls! This is from their 2nd album Queen of the Murder Scene. It's a concept album following the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder to self-loathing to suicide. In this song, she is having a fight between her good and bad sides. It’s performed as a duet between Pau as the good side and Dany as the bad. In the end they fully break apart.

I knew that face was coming when she hit that drum fill in the 2nd verse. That's the g-rated version of my reaction the first time I heard it. LOL. The most amazing thing is the time span between the first video you reacted to and this one. The performance of Survive you first reacted to was in early 2017. This performance was Nov 25, 2018. That growth you were talking about was only a year and a half.

Thank you for getting back to The Warning.. I agree they have progressed exponentially since some of the early covers as musicians, song writers and performers. And this video is a year old now from last Nov 25th 2018... This video is a live version of track eight from their 2nd original LP "Queen of the Murder Scene. This is a 13 track concept album which tells the dark story of a girl obsession, stalking, insanity, murder and suicide. This track where Daniela (18) on guitar and Paulina (16) on drums trade verses illustrating the inner conflict with good and evil and reconciling what she has done. Heady stuff for teenagers to write about. This concert in Mexico City recorded last Nov is where they premiered their new LP and the 1st time they played these songs live. Ever considered coming back to The Warning? I saw you enjoyed their progress up to where you quit on them. They just dropped their 4th album "Keep Me Fed". The album premiered at number 1 in two different genres in the UK. They're WAY beyond where they were last time you saw them. Worth taking a look...:)

The Warning has tickets on sale today for a 22-city North American tour. They just did 2 sold-out nights in Manhattan and have 2 sold-out nights at the Whisky in LA in January.

I didn't care for this one.

Def didnt like & im disappointed as hell... they can all play & the fact u have a singer on percussion, I had such high hopes. Maybe they need more time to hone their craft, wasnt impressed.

If this is your first time seeing The Warning. Check out some of their other songs. Their style diverges a lot from song to song. It's all rock but some of it sounds punk to balads to straight a head rock.
