Mr Candy, you’re not the first full grown man to be moved by this masterpiece. My ultimate fantasy would be to sit around a campfire with a few TWA buddies and have Dany serenade us on her acoustic guitar. I could die a happy man after that.

That's exactly what I thought while watching this... I pictured myself sitting right with her, and realised that I could stay there for hours, shared between the tears she could make me shed anytime, and the laughs when she would forget lyrics and imrovise to fill the blanks or tell us a dad joke between two songs...

Imho one of TW best songs. It never fails to make me emotional. Dany’s solo at Dakota was perfection. Her & Ale’s backing vocals and subtle musical arrangements are gorgeous. Of course, Pau slays with her incredible vocals and piano skills. Then Dany just kills her solo version in the basement. Mistakes and all, she still brings the passion & emotional wallop. These ladies are just special ❤.

I had never heard this song. Together it was just beautiful. Choked me up. The second version was such a treat. What a wonderful talent. Agree with the 12 string idea. Dany is such an inspiration. Ale’s bass was just magical. Of course Pau sang the heck out of it.

I simply love this song and wish they would add it to the setlist now and then. In the live version, Ale's tasteful bass line is the glue holding everything together with Dany's guitar and Pau's keyboard magical soundscape. As always, Pau is pure emotion. But, my words, Dany's version is sooo beautiful and emotional too.

I wrote a short piece about this song for The Riff, because it's so beautiful. It's almost terrifying that a teenager could write something like this. The Warning can kick ass on their instruments, we know that, but it's their songwriting that is almost impossible to explain. Oh: Carlos Santana spent his entire career trying to get this sound on his guitar, and never did manage it. Dany nailed it on what must be one of her first attempts. Every note sings, and every note stings. Crazy.

Quite amazing performances, both of them. These acoustic shows that Dany did are always powerful because she makes you feel like you're in the same room and she sings with the same passion she would to a crowded club. No words are adequate to describe these sisters.

Omg… I’m driving and listening to your yt (yes, not watching, just listening), and when i heard this acoustic one i had to pull over because I’m literally crying. I watched this live stream a year ago and if you get the opportunity to watch the whole thing, in private… It isn’t really suitable imho for yt reaction… You should. It was an extremely personal and very tragic night for Dany, and it was crushing to watch… and so beautiful… that’s why you can still hear Dany sniffling in this song… she needed it to cheer herself up

I totally agree. It's something that you should watch in your own, when you get the chance. I think the video name is "Dany 🎸 29/dic/2022" on The Warning Army's channel. (Link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n5ds2tiOe5bJabg.html ). As @Don-music says, the first song that she sings in the video isn't something that's tasteful to react to, because it is such an emotional thing for Dany. She deliberately opened the door for us fans/friends to be a part of the moment and it feels like putting it up in the light of a reaction video would just diminish the moment. On Timberwolf762's channel, he has just the first part, without the 'Show Me the Light" surprise, under the very appropriate video title, "Will You Cry With Dany?" (Link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aoaCtrVyp6S7aNY.html ) - whichever link is better for you.. And- yeah. I cried then, when I saw it live - and still do. Dany's midnight concerts are magical and they were a bright beacon of light for hundreds of thousands of us, during the dark times of the quarantine.

As others have already explained: you must see the whole vid (on your own time) it's beautifully personal, sad, uplifting and positive in the backend of it all. Oh, she explains that she had other plans for us but on a spur of the moment decided it was something she needed- a catharsis, - if you will. 👊💙

*Sad Fact about Dany Solo:* That was a midnight Dany Day video after their long, long 2022 *Mayday Tour.* Dany played I believe an acoustic Billie Eilish song before *Show Me The Light.* she was grieving for a friend who died in 2021 singing both songs. That's why she was sniffling. She was so buzy with her career that she finally had the time by herself to grieve for her friend. Wish I knew the name of the other song. But that song set up this song as a total surprise that when I first saw this complete video. Made me cry with grief of a person I never met. We saw a side of Dany you won't see very often. You will see it with Pau many times. Ale probably never. But with Dany being so out going. This is one side she keeps that door closed from her fans. But for that one time. She allowed us in.

In some interviews, the Villarreal sisters seem a little sorry for what they did before the Error album and (and a bit of parts of QOTMS). That saddens me because I think that, even though they didn't have the capabilities they have today, they made songs that they can be legitimately proud of (in fact, none of them bad). This song is an excellent example.

Danys midnight shows are the best things on KZread. I'm glad you finally got to experience a taste. The first time you heard of The Warning would you ever have guessed the variety and depth of of them? I'm genuinely curious, a lot of us have been following them and its got to be a eye opener for someone newer to them. Maybe I'm just chasing that first time high to it all though. Thats kinda why reactions are great, to relive it through someone else. And maybe learn something you didn't know in the process.

Now this is my favourite Warning song. Pau's voice is beautiful. Ale's bass melody is beautiful. The Rick Toone guitar sounds beautiful (sorry, PRS). The guitar solo is beautiful. Pau's piano is the perfect base for the song. There seems to be a a keyboard patch (MIDI?) laying over the piano parts that gives extra emotional weight. Imagine that a singer is confident enough to let her natural voice out into the world without effects!
