It is a beautiful album. As an old school audiophile from the era when vinyl was the only true high fidelity medium, I find it intriguing that they used two discs. Judging from the spacing of the tracks with more than ample room for the out-run for the stylus playback on each side, it is clear to me that they have used less compression of the audio for the songs to 'fit' onto the sides. The usual case was for an LP side to contain a maximum of 23 or so minutes of music, with most records in the 70s falling somewhere between 17 and 20 minutes. Because of this, the lowest bass notes were often limited to maybe 50 Hz. Note: the open E of a bass guitar is 41.2 Hz. The lowest fundamental notes of the largest pipe organ go below most human hearing, down to around 14 Hz. That's important because vinyl is an analog format. So the lowest bass note captured in a recording determines how "wide" (or how much room) the groove takes up on the LP's surface. I would assume that when they mastered the LPs, they allowed for lower bass tones, amply capturing the lowest fundamental note of Ale's bass. That has exciting potential for anyone with a great pair of speakers or headphones.

I wonder if anybody who buys records these days even plays them anymore or if they're just a fancy collector item. Vinyl does indeed have a very vibrant sound that is clearly distinguishable from all the digital stuff. But nowadays records seem to first and foremost be made to look nice. Is there anybody who actually still let's a stylus touch and wear them?! Do all the people who buy vinyls even own a record player?🤔

@@josephbel7532 Hoy en día, los discos de vinilo son más bien cosa de aficionados y coleccionistas. Hasta finales de los ochenta, los discos eran el estándar, aunque no solían ser de vinilo. Pero a principios de los noventa, el CD sustituyó al disco de vinilo, y a veces apenas quedaban discos para comprar en cualquier sitio. Hoy vuelve a ser diferente, pero las ediciones en vinilo de los álbumes suelen limitarse a unos pocos miles de copias, porque el mercado de coleccionistas no es realmente tan grande. De todas formas, los altos precios y la producción barata en China hacen que merezca la pena. Sin embargo, creo que la mayoría de la gente que compra vinilos deja que los discos cojan polvo en el armario y escucha la música en Spotify de todos modos. Creo que se trata de poseer un objeto háptico con un valor sentimental atribuido.

Yes I do. Records was my intro to music back in the late 60s. Still listen to my music collection. I do not buy reissues or copies. Only original recordings. I still own 3 turntables. Even a few 8- tracks and hundreds of cassettes.✌️

lo muestro porque hay gente que quiere verlo no todos pueden comprarse un vinilo, más si solo lo venden en un país. y verlo por un video no es lo mismo que tenerlo en la mano. también a la gente le sirve para saber si lo quieren comprar. saludos!
