They are all great, but I am a guitar guy so I have to with Dany. Also, sometimes I feel like Dany is overlooked as crazy as that seems.

Ale can sing lead, too. She did a couple of songs recently when Dany needed a break. Plus they all have 13+ years of experience on piano, and Dany and Ale can play sax.

Phil Collins is probably the best known drummer-vocalist. Paulina Villarreal is the only musician I would dare compare to Phil Collins. She can sing, she can drum, she can do both at the same time while also delivering mesmerizing stage presence, and she typically leads the songwriting process.

I think that Pau has easily surpassed both Phil and Don as the greatest singing drummer , as she has been doing it for about 13 years now plus the difficult drum fills while singing .

​​@@booradley8895It is not the fact that she just hits a button. She actually took the time and programed them into the computer to play the way the band wished... Playing every sceen and background and flow into each song... The button just makes her hard background work stand out that much more... Please watch the older concerts the ladies produced... Most have them have the backgrounds... The ladies are known for their live concerts in portion because of these actual backdrops... The newer concerts do not have them because the ladies do not have the intel of what is avaliable at each concert site... Also, while some may say that Dany's guitar is controlled by Pau's computer, I don't believe so... Could it ? It could, but Dany and Aleh both keep things on their own boards... We can see them stepping on and off the boards every song... Dany does it way more visibly often than Aleh though...

Ale's strong bass line drives the song. FYI: She is nearly 5 years younger than Daniela and nearly 3 years younger than Paulina. She started bass lessons at age 7 and ONE month later they started playing together, whereas Dany and Pau had been playing their instruments for 4 years or so. Ale could play at their level after only one month. Dany and Pau have said Ale was more talented on piano than they were, and when she was 7 or 8 she could play her bass teacher's enormous 6 string bass. Dust to Dust is a song from their 2nd album, "Queen of the Murder Scene" released in 2018, so is a bit of an older song, considering they only have 3 full albums and an EP. They consider each other best friends and like being with each other. When they were recording the "Error" album in New Jersey in 2020, Dany was recording guitar tracks and their parents, Monica and Luis, took Pau and Ale into NYC. Dany later said she missed her sisters while they were gone, even for just that short time. They help out at home with errands and chores. They do have their little spats. Ale wrote the baseline for this song and made it the central sound of it… she is very proud of her contribution but so humble that it makes you love her and this trio even more!

During their release of “Queen of the Murder Scene” where the entire album tells a story, starting with Dust to Dust, Pau sings lead for the first and last songs, resplendent with Dany’s closing high note wail!

Best rock trio in the world, and great people offstage. They have a number of full concerts filmed that are all incredible, but this is the most recent and features stage and lighting to die for. They are playing probably the biggest show of their career in Mexico City one October 25. I'm hoping and expecting it will be filmed and will be as good as this concert

This Teatro Metropolitan concert is their equivalent of the Wacken concert for Nightwish, for now. As for what to react to next, anything from this Teatro Metropolitan concert is a sure bet. Also eventually you may want to react to the songs from their second album Queen Of The Murder Scene from the Lunario CDMX concert in the order on the album, as it is a concept album with a continuous story and also lyrics analysis for this one is a must.

Phil Collins, Don Henley, Roger Taylor, Dave Grohl are some of the well known drummers-singers-composers. Pau writes most of their songs & is one of the darkest songwriters. A queen of composing in the dark minor scales she also runs the technology required for their live shows by using 2 MIDI pedals that trigger Ableton app in her computer that you can see in the drum cam aka Pau Cam. So while a normal drum kit has 2 pedals Pau uses 5 - hihat, double kick gear, bass drum & 2 MIDI. Every song by the girls needs to be reviewed with lyrics. They stand out from the crowd through their profound metaphorical takes on today's society. Through their deep insightful poetry, mosty written by Pau, The Warning have brought intellectualism back to rock again - just like in the 70s, 80s. Dust to Dust is the prelude in their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene published in 2018. Pau was going through her emo phase in middle school when she tabled the 1st draft in front of her sisters. Yes, a trio of teenagers aged about 17, 15 & 12 gave us one of the darkest concept albums that dealt with unrequited love, self harm & lunacy. To keep it in context Roger Waters mused over despair, death & Lunacy in The Dark Side of the Moon exactly 5 decades back from today.

@akatzukianlun4033 Because a song has 2 parts - lyrics & musicianship. What The Warning has done is that they have brought back intellectualism to rock again like in the 70s, 80s through their profound metaphorical takes on today's society - most of which come from Pau's astoundingly mature poetic brain. So unless you are an expert in Japanese poetry you should not compare Sano with Pau. Translation doesn't do justice either. Most importantly they play 2 different genres where requirement of instrumentalism is different. The Warning prioritizes the song more than individual glory through drum or guitar solos. They will do solos only if the song requires it. So just because they don't play fast solos doesn't mean they are inferior to others.

This song is part of a concept album, so I think that to understand the history is needed to hear the complete album.

FYI, they do have some backing tracks they use during live performances. These are all created and recorded by them as well. For example when Dany is playing a solo guitar part, you might hear another rhythm guitar playing in the background. Or in some songs you can hear some keyboards in the background. These are all controlled by the laptop which is on the left-hand side of Pau's drumkit. 🤗

Hey guys, great reaction. Pau sings leads on 1/3 of their songs. Something to consider above TW ability to perform is that Mexico City is at an altitude of 2,240 meters (7,350 ft)! Dust to Dust is the song Ale (in her own words,,has contributed most). Dust to Dust is the first song from their album from 2018 called "Queen of The Murder Scene" - the prologue. Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album which tells the story of a disturbed young woman's inner journey from desire to obsession to murder and madness. The songs are told from the point of view of either the young lady's inner psychopath or her good side, which has a conscience - until it does not. Once you're done with all live from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX, them maybe you could react to TW live at Lunario CDMX where they performed the whole "Queen of The Murder Scene" for the very first time, plus other songs from their previous album XXI Century Blood.

Pau has been singing and drumming since she about 6 and she practices her breath control by singing and running on a treadmill.

There are many legacy bands that would pay money to be able to perform live at this level.

Any song from this concert is great. And, hats off to the sound engineers here who help to get the most from TW without making it so loud that you don't know what you're listening to. I've been to so many concerts in the last nearly 50 years where they just make it so loud that it ceases to be enjoyable.

Paulina has several songs she sings lead. Also, both Paulina and Alejandra will sing lead if Dany is under the weather or needs a break.

Pau sing and drum at the same time since... she plays drums. One of her first teacher encourage her to do that. And in the first ever video posted of Pau (long before the warning) she sing And the song was composed mostly by Ale (she was 12-13 y/o)

Dany herself has said she plays “ Lythym” guitar, kind of a hybrid of Lead and Rhythm. Similarly, Ale often steps out of typical Bass duties to supplement Dany.

I would love to see you do 21st century Blood Original Video that was written when they were teen and preteen. Thye Video has won 4 awards. This will show you how genius these 3 girls really are.

Ale, at age 13, is credited as the composer of this song. Pau wrote the lyrics. Pau has been drumming and singing since the second grade, 15 yeras now.

Dany and Ale singing along and they aren't anywhere near thier mics...Pau is just that awesome!

They have opened for some of the biggest bands out there. They have also blown away some very famous bands that maybe are past their prime. Lazy Hale was extremely impressed with their talent, energy and " vicious" performances.

This was the song that hooked me, they write perfect anthemic rock songs.

Just to remind you... The ladies spent 2 weeks in CdMX to get used to the difference in height... Also, this concert was filmed over 2 nights... The first half in white clothes and the second in black clothes... They gave the ladies a small break in the middle of everything...

What you will come to realize is that these are three Unicorns. There has never been anything like them in the history of modern music. They quite literally, don't have a bad song. Your next songs should be "Disciple" and "Survive" from this same show. Dany and Pau trade off lead vocals on both songs. Survive is from their first album in 2017, "XXI Century Blood" and "Disciple" is from their latest album "Error". The songs are totally different styles and both total bangers that will leave you gobsmacked.

I wonder, If you ask these girl's, What was your first vehicle? They might answer... A TOUR BUSS.... They started so young...... PAULINA in my opinion is a musical genius. Alot of their songs come from Pau sitting at the family's piano making ideas happen. Then they all take these ideas and run... SUBED... TWA🤟🎶☮️

The Eagles and The Band are the last bands that I can remember having the drummer singing lead and neither of those drummers pounded the kit and ran the show computer (that wasn't a thing). There are backing tracks coming from Pau's computer, including 2nd guitars, which you can hear during guitar solos or repeated riffs. The VMA performances of More and Evolve are up now, next level. Great reaction. The female half of your team is very analytical, which I like.

Great track that is the introduction to the extraordinary album, Queen Of The Murder Scene. Ale's bass, Dany's guitar and voice and of course Pau, who is one of the great drummer-singers of this time.

I would suggest Disciple next also from Teatro Metropolitan. Or if you want a change of pace, Revenant from Teatro Metropolitan. Subscribed.

Sometimes on Instagram you can ask them anything and I asked Dany if she owns a Car and she Answered me and Said No She doesn't own a Car but she does have a Drivers License and she Drives her Moms Car I think Pau doesn't like to Drive and Ale is 18 now and I think she has her Drivers License.

Not everything is played live. Sometimes a piano can be heard out of nowhere or a second guitar. Sometimes band members are missing, which are replaced by backtracks recorded by them.

What else? In their old live stuff, they each play electric piano, i.e. keys and switch to bass or guitar. Not Pau of course. BTW, do they weave in backing tracks in moments. They keep it to a minimum though.

They can all 3 sing the lead but Pau sings less lead because of the drumming and Ale isn't a fan of singing the lead but she is the backup singer. If Dani or Pau have to skip some songs for whatever reason, Ale sings them as well as she can because it is necessary.

The vocal mics only record the immediate vicinity. That's why so many singers "bite" their microphone live to get the best quality. Singing drummers are rare, female drummers even rarer, but they do exist: The 13 Best Singing Drummers of All Time

Don Henley of the Eagles often sang lead and drummed at the same time. I’ve heard of others but don’t remember names. But you’re right, it’s a tremendous challenge. Pau has to be one of the best. It’s taken me a while, but I’ve managed to pull Ale’s vocals out of the harmonies. They often seem lower in the mix. She seems to sing lower than Dany, an octave down often.
