Just noticed the video was removed and reuploaded. Happens, excited for a Warcraft Mod

On the "Play as any ruler", things can get WILD really fast. For example for one playthrough I did: Kel'Thuzad: Mauled to death by a local bear. Sylvanas: Face was maimed, then she drowned. Vareesa: She drowned. Ysera: She "deleted" herself. Alexstraza: Became a drunkard because of Ysera. Rommath: Lost at sea when going between Quel'Thalas and Quel'Danas. Arthas: Had a son with evil trait and was a jester. Jester then usurped the throne. Random Crypt Lord: Swirling a cup of tea while eyeing my wife. During a trip in Elwynn Forest: A pandaren tried to rob me. The Blackrock Clan: The ruler was now a dwarven king. Overall, a much better story than what Blizzard can write, would recommend!

This is such a curious video. I was a prolific Total Warhammer modder myself, and transitioned to mod Crusader Kings 3. Do try Princes of Darkness and Elder Kings, excellent total conversions both

I've played them both but the Warcraft universe is very close to my heart so wanted to do a video on this one first :)

Princes of Darkness is absolutly awesome, my favourite mod for ck3 and one of my favourites for any game , could probably be it's own dlc , sadly it's complexity turns away many players as it may take a while to learn.

I seldom play the base game anymore. Between Princes of Darkness, Realms in Exile, and Elder Kings 2, I have little time or patience for the base game left.

And is has Warcraft Orcs and Humans original soundtrack

It's funny to hear out your take on the 'quick dlc releases.' Like... CK3 was in stagnation for a year, left with junior designers and without proper road map behind it. It's pretty much TWW3 situation. Well, at least there is a CK2 with more flavour and content. (Guardians of Azeroth were first published for it. And it Rocks.) Not gonna lie, even with such problems CK3 is a good game. Especially with mods, such as GoA2 or Princess of Darkness. Even if PoD doesn't change the map, it's wins over with rich flavour, mechanicsa and replayability.

DLC has been alow for CK3 yeah but its certainly better run than TWW3 patches have been faster also lol

Nathan I think these type of contents suit your channel! :D No shame in expanding to other "niche" game series. Wargames are hella fun especially when they are highly moddable!

Haven't played CKIII for some time. As my plan to play Third Age on MTWII failed because of crushes, this may be interesting.

This might put me over the edge to buy Crusader Kings, quite frankly.

DLCs work and the Arthas missions at the start make use of newer mechanics yeah

They have been working on one since CK3 release unfortunately with each patch they have to change a lot of stuff. It going to have a full on magic system to from what I heard. Till then I would recommend playing the Lord of the Rings mod

I just got really burnt out on World of Warcraft long time ago. I realized all I do in that game is choose one of my characters, spend a big chunk of my time levelling up and then another big chunk to gear it up to be able to do anything. If you want to do pvp, you have to level and gear up for months. Otherwise you are waste of space in any pvp/battlegrounds. Repeat for any other alts because god forbid if you want to play anything else than this one class. What I found really fun was Guild Wars 2. No subscriptions, but still some initial costs, expansions, bag slots and other quality-of-life improvements. But still lot less than 15$ per month. Why it keeps pulling me in is - years after last login right away I am ready to do anything. No constant grinding for gear. You get it once, that's it. Optionally you can optimize it for that 5% gain if you want to. And then even further 1% gain and fancy skins if you want to. Levelling? It's a once and done experience. If you are max lvl and go to lower level zone, your dmg and health gets scaled down. You get drowned in tokens which boost your levels. Very useful for alts and also the tokens convert to another currency because eventually all your classes are at max level. There are a million and one things to do at max level. Good long storytelling, pet collection, cosmetic fashion etc. You could be spending weeks to grow your siege turtle up from a small turtle to a house-sized turtle by feeding it and finding materials for its harness. If you want to have really good gear fast, or quickly create an alt, you can convert money into gold and good gear set will cost about half of a dollar. Or another thing many do is play a lot, get gold and convert into gems to use in the shop.

tech, this is a better version because your not forced into one path

"paradox releases dlc so quickly"... Dude ck3 has been out for over 3 years and we still lack many basic features from ck2. More than half of the currently released dlc is unnoticeable by the player if your not playing the right cultures or in the right locations of the world. You went from a game (twwh3) where everyone is pissed at the prices & lack of content to another (ck3) where everyone is pissed at the prices & lack of content.

Ck3 prices are way more reasonable than Total War warhammer 3 , it's dlc policy is also more fair than ck2's "buy soundtrack separetly" stuff.
