Ok, so Aug 22/26th, so that means prepatch hits when? Seems like prepatch will definitely overlap Remix? Yeah, I'm feeling a LOT rushed suddenly! I was greatly wondering about 'remix' characters, because I intentionally leveled 2 classes that I wanted to run in the next expansion. The old 'Shaman-Hunter' crew is retiring to be replaced with 'pally-priest' - bout time after nearly 20 years? lol

I would have vastly preferred Prepatch and Remix not overlapping. I have only so much play time in any given week.

strangely we had many periods in the past where there was nothing to do until the expansion releases with way bigger gap, I do prefer this at the least, Id rather yell too much content then nothing lol.

@@orkunakman1541 Oh I misunderstood, you guys mean your remix characters having time to do pre-patch? Even still, it won’t matter? Use your main during pre-patch, and if you want your remix character to be your new main then just transfer the items and currency to your remix character because of the new War Band system, right?

@@sidequest_adventures look what they posted; they hadn't played since legion. They were using remix to level to catch up, so the remix character is their main hence why they are complaining. Blizz should give an option to convert the character early if they are going to do it like this.

Pre-patch will be around week 30/31 so by the end of July if blizz keeps up with their around 10 week schedule. So 23 of 30th of July.

BFA was Mid August when that released... it's not about whether they're early or not, it's about the quality and amount of content available in the initial patch.

Intrigued to see what happens w.r.t Covenants too - like the shortcut right at the entrance of Mists for Night Fae cov!

Glad players who only play 1 class and never play alts feel the sting players who play a lot of alts have been feeling the last few xpacs.

it's interesting to have specific bonus damage like holy or arcane. It's fun to say hey bring a holy dmg player, but it would probably play out to just forced stacking for min maxing lol

The player base is definitely the worst part of the game. They’ll just do whatever the streamers do😅 That’s why I just find a chill guild and play what I want instead of pugging keys. I get wanting to be optimized but being a meta slave is dumb at the end of the day especially if it’s an alt character

I be okay if like the first +5 Mythics dungeons could be done in the QUE system. After that you might want a solid group.

I like the idea myself of making some classes stronger some weeks. They will have to design it around damage profiles for the classes tho or target certain classes and gep them in a way. It would go along way towards removing the meta as it has existed if they do it correctly.

They did tell us Remix would end and our timerunners would roll right into War Within. Sounds pretty straight forward that WW launches that soon.

@@timj11dude yeah but every expansion starts out beyond the highest of the previous expansion. just doing the beginner quests will outlevel gear from Remix. IF we continued to play these characters.

@@timj11dudeIf it’s like previous expansions the scaling will be where a fresh 70 can level just fine tbh. Getting gear is nice but it won’t make or break your character during leveling

I'm ready for the new expansion. I'm just twiddling my thumbs at this point since Remix was a miss for me. Kind of putting around on Cata atm.

Followers should be directly behind the player, pixel by pixel route, now they seem to go a bit funky. Tank alt could be right in front of your main character, they must be at arms lenght.

So heroic dungeons move to the mythic dungeon rotation. Sounds interesting.

Assassination rogue - bleed plus nature , yay my time in the sun

Remove Bursting. 3m dispel cooldowns on aren't viable for constant bursting stacks. At least make it effect 1-2 people.

Nature and bleed damage the 3 assassination rogues that play wow thanks you XD

not only do warlocks get chaos damage but some of our pets do physical damage so they'd also benefit from the lower armor one.. locks seem to be making out like bandits in that. rofl (obviously demon hunters do too but a lot of those will be the tank whos taking more damage, or would be in range of melee aoe damage.. however common that is.. so its more of an even trade perhaps. xD ) and honestly, i do like the idea of certain enemies being weak to certain damage types but i think all damage types should be represented in a dungeon at the same time so you're not as tempted to focus on taking certain classes

I think it will be ready in time the more people they have that participates in beta the more bugs they will catch and speed up the process. Also, I think it's being released at a good time. I haven't touched dragonfly since two weeks after season four.

It isn’t like they just started working in it. They have been working on the expansion since Dragonflight.

These affixes... its like blizzard want you to roll 9 classes by default. They made everything possible to ensure we will (remix in lead). So basically, we will mostly roll our casters everywhere, our melees will be out 1/2 weeks out of 4...

does blizzard just not think of the players. I get mythic plus having 4 ww dugeons and than 4 more out of expansion, I get that it makes season 1 more fun but did they consider that those dungeons are the most hated for a reason. Siege of bolarus im never doing with a pug I have horror stories and PTSD from trying to pug that key. With the new affix I mean I dont mind blizzard doesnt give and still refuses to give warrior more ulitiy to help deal with affixs so I dont care. Senguie is fine affix keeps everyone moving and groving, but bolstering, raging, and bursting can screw off.

I'd like for them to add a way to transfer remix characters back to retail early. It won't be long until I have every bronze reward obtained. I could keep powerleveling some classes but I don't really have anything to do with them now.

hopefully with Prepatch the PTSD Bosses have a higher chance to drop their mounts if they have one, I've been trying to get the Onyxian drake and Invincible basically since Wrath and they still wont drop for me because RNGesus is an absolute bastard. either that or Wrath gets a Remix event like Pandaland.

The release date isn’t too soon, it’s the perfect day actually. If their wasn’t pandaria remix going on everyone would be complaining that it wasn’t soon enough. Yes it would have been nice to be given more time between the end of pandaria and the new release to get DF end game gear on all the remix characters everyone made but Being given Pandaria remix to keep everyone occupied while waiting was meant just for that to keep you occupied plus you never know maybe pandaria remix characters will be given upgrade gear at the start of the new expansion so their not left behind feeling undergeared.

Personally on the first day of mythic+ id rather spam +2 or higher keys than mythic 0 if only because +2 contributes to my vault and you quite literally can't run out of +2 keys!

I feel okay, i got 4 geared lv70s . Got most of remix done got all the class sets unloacked and class weapons too. Got 200 mount collecter achieve from remix too, trying to buy out all the mounts then im done. Oh yeah, lvling a mage and rogue to lv70 in remix, i think i have enough time 😂

giving everyone a chance to shine in dungeons is much trickier. because there are way more DPS than there are healers or even tanks. So how do you equal that out? Tanks are going to feel like they have too much time and not enough.

It sounds like Blizzard is trying to get static M+ groups to get accustomed to Warband alts by suggesting the beneficial affixes should be element based.

Everyone is excited for War Within. I'm excited for the pre patch.

I cant imagine this release decision is anything other than a boost for the tail end of Q3. I get that its a business but man this really sucks. So much FOMO and so much rush unnecessarily.

Looks like mages are the winners with the affixes. Anyways I will focus on delves, normal raiding, and heroic dungeons,. Don’t need the stress that comes with of m+, just want to enjoy the game

There is nothing new they just upped ILVLs in all the same raids and m+ we have already been running and there is 0 incentive to grind out the gear and ilvl again this season. It needed to be short because a ton of people aren't even playing s4

New affixes are a joke, and the whole affix composition is literally a late April fools.. wtf are they thinking

Honestly don't get people freaking about pre-patch. Every pre-patch mostly just lets you adjust to new talents/abilities, and then some catch up mechanics for basic gear, none of which was needed and got quickly replaced with quest gear.

Pretty amazing how blizzard managed to make affixes worse and worse

Any chance to get our Remix 70 twinks into the prepatch? I want to gear them up (without bronze grind)

Nope ! The end of Remix is some days before the official release, so these characters need to be geared up with bronze or else they'll start at the same level as a new character doing the quests.

The gear on your timerunning character will be based on their level. So there's no reason to grind bronze. And assuming you'll get your timerunning characters to retail immediately after the event ends, you should have about a week to gear up (if you don't have epic edition early access).

@@victorlotz3457 Based on lvl ? I don't think ! Or else it would be meaningless to upgrade your gear's ivl. Everyone would just clear the content and just pex to 70 on their alt without doing anything else, but everyone is upgrading their gears to at least 460 ilv.

forget the class/dungeon changes, they need to fix the server stability problems before anything. beta is unplayable atm, keep getting dc'd every 5-15 min then have to wait 20min just to log back in.

I don't know Blizzard, I think it is too soon. Heck, you guys did not get the beta release right. Trying to log in on June 5 was a nightmare and I still can't copy one of my toons to test with.

I kind of feel the community has killed any desire I have to try mythic+ dungeons, but affixes don't help with that. I mostly play spell casters, and having things explode or create zones of death everywhere isn't fun for anybody except hardcore masochists.

4:50 Dungeon queue not being available doesn't necessarily mean that you can't do the dungeons the old-fashioned way by going to the entrance with a premade group instead of using the queue.

Lets be honest. There is not that much content in the war within to panic about a too early release

kind of annoying that the remix is so damn long like 69 (hehe) days remaining before the thing ends, it would be nice if atleast blizz would give a way to transfer a char from remix to regular when the player feels like it did everything already

Unfortunately releasing expac too early is kind of the norm these days, we're just used to the first patch cycle being pretty scuffed. Atleast we'll get new content to distract us though, season 4 and remix are already kinda boring.

Early Access is stupid and vile. Fuck paying for a couple extra days. Let the fools who paid deal with the inevitable launch bugginess given how fast this coming.

these affixes are the best they have ever come up with. done shoot it down befor it goes live. 3 out of 4 of the retired affixes are the WORSED ever made. litterly reasons to not play. these affixs are passive so besides tuning its not that big of a deal. as a healer main i 100% support this :D as a newly DPS m+er i learned dammage aint that important untill u push 15s + so i think your biggest issues with the new affix are not going to hit to hard on the average player

You can sign up for free and hope you get picked, but yeah paying to beta test is nuts especially when its tied into a pre purchase. No one in their right mind would spend $80 on pre order and $15 sub just to beta test and lose it all in 2 months.

you dont have too. in the past there was no option for it at all you had to be picked based on luck or win a beta key from streamers, some people really wanna test things in beta and are willing to pay for it, now u have the option to pay for a higher tier with guarenteed beta acces. if thats not for you dont buy it. but having the option to be able to test why not? what does it matter. to you if ur not willing to pay its not worth it for you so u dont have to :)

They haven't fixed the terrible druid flight form restriction of it sharing the normal flying's button either or the countless other broken classes and specs. This expac is already DOA to me.

I thought bringing old dungeons into the M+ rotation was a great thing... but I can't understand why the fuck they'd not have all of their new dungeons in season1 of an expansion... I just don't get it. I want to play the new dungeons, not dogshit shadowlands ones.

These content creators are grasping at straws trying to be angry about an earlier release date 😂

the affixes are bad and uninspired... they can do literally everything yet they come up with this shit? cmon.. you now can have 6 players in your party but everyone suffers great ramping damage over time in combat and has 20% reduced attributes, every enemy you kill converts into turret that fights for you for the next 2 minutes, but enemies deal 50% increased damage, killing an enemy summons meteor from the sky that damages both enemies and players, you can make that up in seconds... what are we paing for 2 years of waiting for this crap

Rely disslike any mounting ups in dungeons, that just creates toxic tanks running like mad doge, and leaving others behind, maybe behind patrols he decided to skip and we cant join up or find the route tank chose... :7 Is why i mostlikely gonna be soloin. All speed buffs needs to be deletet, specially the Druid one, couse is random, it makes horrible char movement experience. I like the game couse the smooth char movement, i might be arena player, that fits my style the most.

I feel that its a bit rushed but I understand why. coming out of a disaster that was the Jailer and going into dragon flight which was a nice comeback. On top of that promising all the nice good changes and announcing 2 expansions which is aggressive, it is obvious why. Get ready for many bugs :-)

Don't agree that it's to soon. I was just thinking about unsubbing yesterday because the game is now boring in S4. I am ready for another expansion and most of my guild feels the same. The timing is perfect, it's just about if they can deliver a balanced product on time.
