    Enh has same problems as Fury, where 2 main skills of rotation conflicts whith each other, but this problem is even more complicated. It is necessary to increase the basic value of lava lash, fire shock and flametongue. And we also need to make sure that the Lava lash does not tune in to spam like the impact of a stormstrike. Need to make Lava lash more cumulative burst power, how it was in early version. For ex: Using Lava lash gives our flametongue to stack debuff on target, that increase damage of flame shock, to him. Enh must have 2 Core passives: First is "Stormbringer" and second for Fire skills. Ice strike-hail storm-forst shock, make a bundle so that you can effectively apply Shock to 1 target. Improve Sundering, low impact skill, only myth+

    The enhance totemic tree seems like it's just where they threw all their random left over ideas that they didn't know what else to do with. I actually appreciate that. It's consistent with the historical design philosophy of enhance. Feels nostalgic. Right now it's hard to figure out how to build in order to get the most out of it, but hopefully blizz makes some class/spec tree adjustments and things become more clear. (Also it should be serpent ward instead of searing totem imo…)

    Hey Supa The totem is target based. So it'll pulse on your target. So you don't have to relocate the totem.

    Affliction warlock, shaman and shadow priest have some dispell prevention. Shaman needs some totem protection if they are going to rely on their totems to work that build.

    @@dnwlkr935 I was thinking maybe a totem would explode when destroyed. Like a mine or something. Or a totem would reflect a spell once at the cost of 1 talent point. That would be fun and also not totally OP. Because at the current state the dispell protection mechanisms can be pretty devastating if you ignore them. I don't see why shaman shouldn't have something similar.

    @@moomoodeadcow The idea of exploding totems is already a strong way out of their fantasy, the problem is that blizzards in design make decisions in the context of PVE and this greatly limits how you can convey the spirit of the class in mechanics. At the same time, the shaman needs such spells and totems that are conveniently suitable for the use of Enhancement specialization. Such as Hex, Thunderstorm, lightning lasso bad scales with Enh spec. Purge is very outdated, it is increasingly in conflict with rotation. Recall the classic versions, there were strong shocks and support totems, some improvements in the spec like earthen power. Of course, totems need health, their radius and duration of action should be important for work efficiency, it should be tactically advantageous to hide them behind objects, Blizzard simply does not think about it, because it is not PVE...

    @@dnwlkr935 I agree. That’s why WOW is the way it is. It’s a game that could be so much better. I realized this problem and I don’t even play shaman. It either that or they don’t rely on totems at all.

    @@moomoodeadcow in addition to PVE, Blizzard has another dangerous principle that harms the game canons, classes. This is Individualism, and a universal approach to measuring individual effectiveness, as the value of self-expression and competition for the player. (ex: self dps count). In this way, they oppress the fundamental principle of the Shaman as a support. Abilities that enhance the potential of allies or groups are removed and replaced with those that emphasize the player's personal influence. Shaman is a spiritual, socially oriented class, specialization of Enh, expresses the brutal, impulsive nature of Fury Warrior, with a desire for constant pressure and spontaneous effectiveness. But with lower tactical/technical ability, strenght and survivability. All this is conceptually read from the history of class design and their original appearance.

    doomwinds & windfury damage should be put into mastery. and enh needs to be reworked to focus around 3 things #1 Windfury Proc. #2 Utility #3 auto chain lighting procs just like wf.

    I wish Arc Discharge from Stormbringer was auto Chain Lightnings. I really don't want to stop and cast 3 chain lightnings before I can continue. Also it is just visually more awesome to be chain lightning everywhere while also doing other stuff.

    I think it will be easier for them to designate 1 Hero spec for PVP vs PVE, although I don't love the idea. I was kinda hoping to be a Totemic Resto Shaman for PVP

    Why is supa complaining and not showing the full range of the chain heal synergy. Most of your totem drops also shoot off a chain heal and synergies with the talents. This is a big mana efficiency improvement. Free healing rains and chain heals going off constantly. If anything, sham will be way more mana efficient

    When I said give us a shield I Meant an actual shield that does knock backs or throws for a stun or something like that. Like shield slam or the pally trick where they chuck it😅

    I was thinking something along those lines as well. Just have the totems give the shaman an aura or the effect come from the shaman. The totem can stay stationary, but as long as it’s up, we have the ability or effect coming from us directly.

    I apologize for my rant, but if they’re listening at all everyone keeps saying lightning and mobility and a tanker but now I have to take tempest strikes which is just flair vs two charges if EB So my interpretation of this is either they’re deaf and or have their own agenda or they have no idea how the class or rotation has been put together Everyone takes lava lash because it’s only way to spread flame shock and lightning hasn’t been updated at all visually. Basically play style is run (no damage) stand and trade because of no movement which means we lose lose cuz we’re not wearing plate and no blink or anything I say lose flame shock. Losing that will force a complete rework of the tree assuming they don’t just make it pass on lava lash NO FLAME SHOCK MAKE an EB like talent to take its place

    I don't mind the clear PvE/PvP split for Resto hero tallents, but I'm not a fan of how the same tree seems to be letting Enhance down badly.

    Maybe make Healing Rain have a chance to proc a lesser Healing Rain on another player? Or Healing Rain proc a totem that would auto place a 2nd lesser Healing Rain? (Essentially same thing)

    I think the totem should be a pet that follows you around tossing out massive earthquakes and bolts of lightning shock bolts to knock backs in theAOE watching your back and they multiply 😮

    that seems interesting maybe have the totems all have a few spells like 3 or so water totem heals water bolt maybe increases you healing received. earth gives you a def buff throws spikes and does earthquake or casts it on you. fire increase fire dps throws out flameshock and maybe does low level lava bursts or burns targets near it. wind is utility makes you faster cast purge and maybe throws people up in the air messing with their casting. this could be interesting in ways and im sure others could think of cooler ideas. but i like them being a potential pet class

    It’s a very interesting concept but rather than “following” you I’d like to see charms that you wear or totems you have on their back that they can charge up/cooldown that do specific things to enhance your abilities. Kind of like how ele wolves can change your spell prio except it would be guaranteed, not RNG I mean the spec is called “enhancement” so there’s flavor using imbues and totems to enhance your kit further

    If we speak about Enhancement it's not in "totemic" problem, it is spec problem, many enh skills useless without deep improvement in the tree, and the skills are opposed to each other, Stormstrike and Lava lash has the same tunneling style. it turns out two strictly separated builds, physical and elemental. This should not be the case, we need a more harmonious spec.

    Biggest tell that they don’t play the game they are developing. Some of these classes are in shambles and they just throw more buttons and modifiers on the pile. We at 2 million hp for players now… let that sink in.

    lol I see they screwed a tree up in such a matter that it screws the lightning build UUHHHHP! Used to give the option of f specking EB or tempest strikes which no one ever to because the haste and damage is to great so now we lose two charges of EB to trade for only theatrics and utility. Moreover, I see not only did they nerf that so we can’t scratch that ARE NOT a viable class in PvP due to trade offs The only mobility that we have is alpha and GW but you can’t pick them due to dependency on damage plus I’ve noticed the tree heavily favors fire again. So in reality either they only learned that fire hurt bad but never got struck with electrical shock… it burns worse then fire

    When dragonflight came out, people mostly praised shaman talents and said it was the gold standard for how much freedom you should have to choose your build. Or was it just enhancement? What is wrong with the class tree and elemental?

    Looks at Demo and WW talents, sees how good they are and that they ONLY have 1 talent pt nodes........ Just imagine all the specs that don't get that treatment going into TWW. Blizzard could have a giant win if they do that to every spec. But they won't..... and we all know that....

    Shaman feels like the most neglected class in WoW to be honest. Esp elemental shaman. They rework other classes even multiple times while shaman remains ignored. Take paladin for example. The class got major reworking and now plays so much better, esp retrib. Add to that the effort the devs made on their hero talents, and the comparison with shaman becomes sad.

    Here is maybe a controversial opinion as a newer player to retail: remove more abilities. Game is so bloated. I enjoy healing on rsham but I don't enjoy having so many god damn key binds so I already quit healing on him.

    ⁠@@szamanzzimbabwe1579many of the classes with abilities off GCD feel faster, not slower. Imagine being gcd locked to 4 rotational spells instead of 7, for example, and then you’re pressing the remaining 3 buttons between globals. That is a substantial increase in APM.

You can die in one global these times and you can't do shit because of gcd. It would be very good for the state of the game IMO. The pace seems too fast compared to most spells having gcd

    Having one hero tree focused on single target/pvp and a diffrent one for pve/aoe seems great? Not having each tree try to do everything but focusing on one aspect of gameplay seems like the entire point, otherwise the specs won't feel diffrent enough and just more pointless bloat. I dunno just an opinion, but having every spec trying to do everything for every situation just seems like a recipe to make all specs feel the same and your choice of hero talent worthless

    To be fair, Totems are the weakest cooldowns in the game. There is no other defensive or healing cooldown you can deal with by dealing dmg to it. Imho Totems should be untargetable!

    All shaman specs need a complete rework - Ele is lame. 90% damage comes from fire damage although class fantasy suggests that it's a master of elements. Rotation is also lame and completely dependent on flame shock which is clunky to use anyway - Resto has a huge amount of button bloat. Totems are sometimes bugged. With this spec I feel the most crippled by GCDs in general because the current arena meta is so fast paced - Enha is just another wheelchair with shitty mobility. And the rotation is basicly a whack a mole simulator

    so many terribly designed passive talents labeled as new expansion class features. im a lock main, didnt ask for shadowbolt cleave. my friend mains feral, he didnt ask for bite cleave. my wife is a shaman and she didnt ask for smart heal rng target healing rain . yall are excited for passive talents to play the game for you even more than it already does? i wouldve rather had a new spell and consolidate 2-3 old ones instead of passive talents

    Size and health increase is a joke. 15% increase on size of a minuscule totem still make it minuscule. 160k HP on totem is just bad, they need to fix this. TAKE SOME CHANCES, MAKE TOTEMS GIANT, HARD TO KILL AND ACTUALLY IMPACTFUL! THATS THE FANTASY WE WANT ON TOTEMIC.
