The most one thing that Blizzard should make is a 10-man mythic raid. This is a huge deal!

One thing about your commentary on zone cohesiveness in the recent past: I'd agree with you that Legion, Shadowlands and Dragonflight's leveling campaigns felt disjointed and disconnected sometimes. But where I disagree with you is BFA. The Zandalar zones felt incredibly connected by story (especially with regard to uncovering the Titan facilities throughout the three zones) and the Kul Tiras zones weren't too far behind. (I personally think Drustvar is the best leveling zone of all time, your mileage may vary.) :)

The "Battle" in BfA was kinda missing from those zones, except for a small side plot in Stormsong. But otherwise I agree. The main story of BfA leveling was incredibly cohesive and well told.

I am so relived to hear that Nerubians are treated as a civilisation with nuance, they are my favourite race in Warcraft :)

Locus Walker looked legit incredible in that cut-scene, performances so much better than other DF cutscenes

Some of their class changes are so counterintuitive. Warriors base kit being hamstringed in lieu of “new hero talents!!”. It feels bad

Anyone else notice if you talk to Locus Walker at the start of the quest line, he straight up says Xal is the Harbinger. Guessing it's a glitch from what he should say at the end of the questline, but also suspicious...

Gonna push back on the size of the zones being a quality. We’re going to zipping around them at 300mph so it doesn’t really matter

Dragonflight was about activating five MacGuffins that fizzled out into nothing, atleast with Legion they was important to the Plot.

They weren’t meant to be *that* important in a literal sense. They were important, figuratively, as a representation of the pact between the dragonflights and the titans. They were never supposed to be some big narrative plot device, lol. They just symbolize the separation and conflict between the ideals of the Dragonflights & the Incarnates

Renewing the oathstones took up barely any content wdym lol… The emerald oathstone isn’t even mentioned during the zone campaign, it just reactivates on its own when Merithra renews her vow with the Maruuk centaur. Restoring the power of the aspects took up a lot of the content, yes, but the oathstones were just pretty little symbols of the aspects, not sources of power.

Thank freaking god about the narrative! I’m enjoying dragon flight for the gameplay..but the storytelling just kills me. It literally feels handholdy, and at times, very juvenile in its execution. This was bad in Shadowlands, and it’s worse in Dragondflight. As someone who genuinely plays the game for the story, it really kills my appeal for the game. Dark heart feels like a step back in the correct direction. Gimme some more of that old school mystery surrounding the zones!

@OhNoTheFace oh herr we go. "It's only alpha, it's only beta..." The alpha isn't over, thank god. Because yes, obviously there will be a beta after the alpha where more development happens. But, if the alpha had been over with some specs missing hero talents or having incredibly flawed designed ones while others get insanely cool new stuff, that would be... extremely worrying

I was so happy to hear you said WoD was preem for linear story telling. That type of story telling is what recaptured me after my negative perspective of MoP.

It’s so infuriating that they can make such good heritage armor quest lines like the Draenei one, but miss the mark so completely on others like the night elf one.

They may seem like the biggest zones I have been seeing but we alson know that all they have to do is another expansion patch to introduce more areas a little bit at a time.

Slowly plodding through two classes I’ve never main’d. Shaman and pally. So far leaning towards paladin in war within but I’ll have to see what they feel like at end game DF.

How can you make a Mop remix and not give pandarens their Heritage armor?

Probably because pandaren can be either faction. They’ll either need to have a meaningful story that works for both factions, or make two separate stories. Since the Allied Pandaren are technically two different factions (Tushui & Huojin) they’re probably going for the 2nd option and making two stories/armor sets. Also, China. It really wouldn’t surprise me if Bliz was being extra careful to avoid upsetting them.

@@Mysterious-Fox-01 more like NetEase tried to get an advantage on their licensing rights and Blizzard called their bluff. Trust me, Blizzard didn’t want to lose the Chinese market. NetEase must’ve been asking for some crazy shit for Blizz to choose not to renew their agreement. Anyway, they reached an agreement now & WoW is coming back to China later this year.

So glad the nerubians are finally being fleshed out. Always was hoping they would do a proper city for their architecture. Wotlk was just a taste of that

I really hope TWW continues to have the correctly animated cutscenes. Dragonflight had this weird mix of the two. Sometimes the mouths were synced and other times they weren't. It looked really bad that way.

It's sad that the best news about my main class is that Blizzard seems to have forgotten it exists. They can't fuck up what they didn't change.

For the MoP Remix, are the normal and heroic raids going to scale in size? Or is it set back to 10man/25man?

They closed Blizz-Con due to costs, so it's affecting WoW as well for the community.

If I remember correctly, the zones are arranged more vertically as we're going towards the center of azeroth. Does that mean it's gonna be a pain to go from one of the lower zones to one of the higher zones?

I specifically got my raid bullion before finishing the quest because I KNEW that was going to happen. Don't know how they couldn't foresee it.

Abit sad Warlock is looking abit dicey for war within so far. They have been one of my top contenders for a new main, their Hero Specs just look really great. Hopefully they will be worked upon during the beta now.

nah warlock works fine with hero talents, at least from my testing. Yes the core generation is a bit different, but the hero talents kind of make up for it

2:13 would love they would sometime asap fix old buggs.

?? Have you ever played affliction after MoP ? It was one of the most fun specs in the game and it feels clunky for 10 straight years . Do you even understand the amount of time the spec does not practicaly exist ? Also destruction feels really bad to play on anything that involves the slightest of movement . In modern wow thats 3/4 of the game . Demo some times its really good then it becomes bad and vice versa. Of course they will complain . I am not even a warlock player and i feel upset for them ( and for death knights)

Anyone know if old mage tower skins will be available to get in any way in war within?

I enjoy a lot of your content but honestly I just can't take seriously any content creators' assessment of whether TWW or any other expansion is 'good'. All of you are always positive about them. Feedback from beta players carries more weight. Your other content on lore and just describing new systems is always clear and concise and appreciated.

I haven't seen you be this positive about an expansion (Dragonflight) in a long, long while.

Nobody talks about what happened with the premade group finder timers. Why did they remove those? I really cant understand blizzard sometimes, how are you gonna go ahead and remove something *this* vital and nobody bats an eye?

Pillars of Creation were just side stories. The real game was going through every class hall, playing every spec, collecting every artifact. Bringing in the Illidari and Illidan lore. Nightmare lore. Ysera’s Death bringing millions of gamers to tears. Another Black Dragonflight heir. All of Suramar! The overall lore was mythical. Dragon Riding is amazing, but so far no other expansions compare to Legion. Warbands will be an amazing feature, but I don’t see the lore topping Legion.

One problem I have with Legion is that you'd have to play all the classes for lore. Or learn it from external content like KZread videos. Yeah sure beastmaster hunter weapon lore might not be that important but Xal'atath turned out to be a major villain.

Are classes getting de-bloated? How much?

Somewhere in Blizzard HQ there's a whiteboard that says "Reduce Class Resource Generation" and they won't officially announce it until prepatch. If you haven't heard, it's not just Demo. Stated goals for Warrior and Feral are to spend more time auto attacking so Rage & Energy generation rates have been reduced, Astral Power generation has been reduced so you have to cast Wrath more, Demo lost it's cores to cast SB more, and Destro lost Avatar to cast incinerate more. A lot of talents have also been removed and replaced with "Makes [filler spell] stronger" Mark my words, TWW is going to feel like a horrible return to auto attacks and filler spells and you won't know until it's too late. Don't believe me? Go look at the Alpha notes. All of it is negative feedback about how much time players are standing around during rotations

i actually liked that far more. I like having slow management of resources as opposed to being GCD locked all the time. Casters too their filler spell is effectively an autoattack so thats good to have more filler. More decision making, less twitch.

Its a shame that the draenei quest chain for the heritage armor is so good but the armor itself looks incredibly disappointing, it just doesn't scream draenei to me other then the incredibly dorky looking shoulders and helmet and as mentioned are incredibly dorky and thus I wouldn't be seen dead let alone alive wearing them.

The only thing that sounds negative is the smaller campaign ie less lore, less questing. That's what RPG are all about, especially you only need to do it once.

Can you do the higher delves 10-13 and give us feedback

Have the bugs actually been fixed tho? Guild roster - still broken, training dummies - still broken, friend online/offline notifications - still in the middle of the screen and unable to be turned off, quite frequent lag be it fps or latency lag - yep, still there. And now for one certain spec. Arcane mage. Oh boy where do I begin? Clearcast arcane missiles failing to go off but they consume clearcasting anyway - yep that’s there, happens when backpedalling or sometimes while strafing and does so with almost 100% reproduction rate when you backpedal while having missiles empowered via tier set bonus. The UI showing you that you have clearcasting when you actually don’t and you shoot out non-clearcast missiles like a dumbass - yep that’s present as well. Some abilities, especially arcane explosion, straight up refusing to go off at the time when you press the button (or at all) sometimes - yes also that. Arcane barrage sometimes refunding arcane charges like it’d shoot out an orb, even though it didn’t - yes that also happens sometimes but I don’t complain about this one haha. Yeah the bugs haven’t been exactly fixed, wow is currently in flames.

@@JustinPardue mate I'm talking about the bugs on live servers which have been mentioned at the start of the video. Live is currently utterly broken and while it will be fixed eventually, it's straight up lying saying that "most of those have been ironed out by now".

I will never feel sorry for hunters after getting wiped so many times just because of barrage.

The fact that people are crying over Destru and Demo getting fucked over, while Affly has been cuckholded since DF pre-patch, and will continue doing so.

Yea the heritage quests are good, shame the actual gear looks like dog shit, especially the Draenei one.

i dont play lock so i guess i never thought about that being gone, but that's crazy to think about since it's even the warlock hero power in hearthstone

So no changes for Dark Ranger or Sentinel. It's ok, I can wait until I buy the new expansion or renew my sub. I don't know about the fantasy of the new zone, but my class fantasy as a Dwarf MM hunter rifleman is ruined.

@@JustinPardue which is why you either put race agnostic hero talents trees. Or more hero talent trees to satisfy everyone. Btw a hypothetical rifleman hero talent tree can be used by Tauren, Humans, Dwarves and more. Sentinels are only Night Elves so even replacing Sentinel with a "Rifleman" would be better than this.

I don't know. As with BFA and SL all you were singing it's praises (maybe not you) but many others, and I was taking heat for saying they both were not that good. Well here I am again and I'm sorry TWW in alpha is just not that good tbh. Maybe change throughout beta lets hope so. But so far I'm at odds with te Blizzard dependent fan bois.

From what I saw on WoWHead of the hero talent trees so far... they are just really blown-out, and highly disappointing, set bonuses that, once again, force you to take certain parts of the talent tree if you want to benefit and basically nullify the other half of the basic tree. So, for example, on shadow priest, you either have to take holy nova (for archon), which is the weaker of the two of the dps talents on the left side... or take the shadow stuff that forces you into the right half of the tree in your shadow side as you do not have the points to take stuff on both sides of it because of that stupid channelling spell. So what is the point of these things? They seriously need to make these hero trees disjoint from the current talent trees. They should be 100% based on core skills, not the talents in either tree, otherwise they are reducing choice and forcing people down paths... and unlike sets where folks rotate their playstyle each season, these will last the entire expansion. I REALLY hope you and others have noticed and provided this feedback... otherwise this is going to end up a big miss of an expansion when it comes to talent tree stuff.
