Michonne can not hide her bad ass side even when pretending to be Dana.

Actually surprised at how little dialogue Rick actually has. But it's coming according to interviews.

Michonne’s body language in this scene is speaking volumes. She clearly doesn’t consider Thorne her superior officer. She didn’t even respond,” No, Ma’am!” like Rick and the others.

@7:40 this episode actually showed that it’s hard for consignees to kill walkers with how many “non-kill” walkers were left in the end of their work, so for them, Michonne is a badass (which she also is in general because it’s not that easy to kill that many walkers in a row for anyone). Also I’m pretty sure Michonne beat Rick’s walker kill count (68) because the camera panned to it twice. Bet you next time we see the wall the name “Bethune” will be written instead with a higher number than 68.

I'm assuming that the back half once Michonne breaks Rick from his fear that we will see more good moments. This has huge season 7 vibes of when his character is so broken and afraid to lose anyone that he won't budge. Thorne aiming the gun at Michonne, big Shane vs Dale throwback. I really hope that we aren't going to get a flashback to Rick hooking up with Thorne or something.

I don’t think it’s jealousy or a previous affair. I think it’s because Thorne does not want the responsibility of Dana/Michonne. In the bombed place the 3 of them met earlier, Thorne said Rick isn’t a friend but her family now.

@@bethcarter3737- Wow, I have to completely disagree. While I now don't think they had an affair I am completely sure Thorne wish there was one. You do know that a man and his wife are family. Andy stated in an interview that Rick and Michonne were like a family long before they fell in love. Oh yes, that's her way of telling Michonne "back up he's mine, we are closer than friends" but she couldn't claim anything more with Rick standing there knowing they were not romantic.

I also think the reason they showed Rick using the silent gun, even though it wasn't practical, but to show that they exist in the universe and set up its use in future episodes i.e. he can use it to stealthy kill another character in the future

I think there are some shocking twists coming up. Thorne seemed shaken up by her meeting and even more committed to the CRM. Im not sure what it is but she was told something at that meeting and she told Rick that he better listen well or something like that. There's more here information that we haven't gotten about why the CRM is doing the things they're doing, no doubt power is part of it but Thorne seemed to totally buy into the CRM. Two things hat caught my attention that was easy to miss. One the meeting of the top CRM brass in a few days and the fact Jadis said she was transferred and it was near the Cascades, the Cascades run right through Oregon where Portland is and the place they were sent is stocked with supplies. All this is connected and Thorne is all in on whatever the CRM is doing, and that includes killing As like Michonne. I think Thorne has joined the dark side...Empire...whatever. sorry getting Star Wars vibes

I think that weapon Rick has is what they called the "pneumatic" weapons. Kinda like that thing they used in IT when that kid was working for his uncle slaughtering sheep. Hemmin & a hawwin LOL.

What's striking my curiosity is the fact that the sword story is centered on that Hugh MERCER Revolution guy. Could be just a egg or a foreshadow for what's to come. We have to see some sort of reunion with the Commonwealth people. Also Bri, do you think there will be any relation between Okafor's "swear on the sword" talk just before Nat hit him with that scream-stick & things mentioned in Beale's speech at Okafor's memorial? I feel like there's something in all that.

The French fries stand: I took it as a play on Five Guys (500 Fries). Similar to the episode where Bob gets the wine and Beth's BF dies when Daryl took them to the Big Shop (Big Lot).

I think Rick not telling Thorne about Michonne was probably a good thing, but I'm also wondering if he should have told her before she moved up. She knows a lot more now than Rick and Michonne, and she's already being different. Definitely gonna need to keep your eye on her, she knew Rick pulled his sidearm without ever once looking at him. Which makes me think she was preparing to take both of them out. Which would mean she already knows who Dana really is.

I've not heard anyone mentioned it but the place out west they went, Jadis says she's stationed near there now, a beautiful view of the Cascade Mts. The Cascade run from northern California up into Canada, right through Oregon near Portland. This is no accident. Also, Thorne Mentioned that in a few days there's a summit with all the CRM brass and judging by the timing, I'm guessing this may be around the time of the finale so I'm wondering if something could happen at the summit and will be a cliffhanger to end the season. Perhaps an attack or bomb that takes out Beale or maybe he'll survive but many are killed IDK but you got I'm catching some little hints. Also after the meeting Thorne really changed in the way she seemed to view the CRM so I believe there's some information there we haven't gotten yet, she seemed clearly shaken up and even more committed to the CRM. The last few episodes are going to have some shocking twists and turns. This show is so good!

I bet they’re working on a cure, and Rick would’ve found out about it during his promotion, if Michonne didn’t push them out of the helicopter. So this will be an internal conflict. Are they being selfish in wanting to go home when the fate of the world is at stake? Love this show

if jadis has to die.. (during the escape round up?.. lets hope that pearl has searched and read the diary (out of curiosity) and pearl kills jadis saving them both? but. wont let michonne or rick go either.. lol. (or now ha all three of them by the balls... she rounds them up (shrugs habitual saving rick and if has the secret that this IS his mrs from michonnes diary and jadis is a lying little A as well.. then.. whoops she got the power) she may let them live - and force them to finish the job (the oakafor/summit job - and bring change/freedom to the rules) kill the one bad guy/few bad guys, to save the greater numbers etc.. something im starting to think that beale is actually been cultivating all this time. his experimental secret leaders programme on the side.. maybe not?.. but all these philosophical art of war books, and sword history clues are playing into the choices that will be made.. choices he is expecting them to make.. (or he wouldn't seed the books to them via oakafor in the first place) - when they have become what they need to be?

Why would Dead City and Daryls show get a 2nd season while this one is finished in 6 episodes. I really hope they have a 2nd season, if they don't, who's going to stay as interested in the outcome of the other spinoffs?

From my perspective. It's not going to end well between Rick & Michonne. It's going to end like a Romeo and Juliet thing. Instead of Michonne drinking the poison so to speak it going to be a twisted tale of Rick possibly falling on the sword or Jadis and Pearl Thorn stepping up to save both Rick & Michonne now.

Two BIG issues with the markings on the phones guy......1. how did Rick know how to describe an older Judith, that he hasn't seen in years, to him but also not being able to describe Carl to him? 2. It's not hard to imagine what Judith would look like...just a little older with longer hair. Those pictures aren't very detailed. I'm pretty sure Michonne just trusts the guy. He seems like an incredibly kind person.

If the area is the west coast, its the Cascades. This is a range of mountains running from Northern California to BC through Oregon and not far from Portland. I grew up there and the photo looks very much like the Cascades which is what we called them.

He recognised Michonne because he drew her a dozen times on the phones Rick had and then burned. She recognised him because he had all his art displayed and she put two and together. It's pretty self-explanatory.

Didnt the etcher look like the actor who played Chri in FTWD? It threw me for a bit. Where does delts come from, what is it short for? We also see the rise of International Apocalyptic Swooner Rick the D with these 3, Jadis, Thorne, Michonne.

So far I prefer Ricks story, but i want more of it I thought there would be more to it... But their meeting in Michonne's episode was better, The episodes should have been in opposite order, or told chronologically.... imo...

I've known many South Africans and they all spoke very clearly and were easily understood. This actress should have hired a better accent coach. Hers stinks.

I thought they were on the east Coast. New Jersey to be exact. So exactly how are they talking about the cascades?? No way they flew all the way to Washington State. Huh.

The artist actually said it took Rick years to even start talking to him about anything. This wouldn't make sense with the timeline if what you're saying is true. So no it wouldn't have been 6-7 years since the artist last drew Michonne, because Rick's only been at the CRM for 6+ years. For all we know, Rick last asked to artist to draw Michonne not long before he burned all the phones and letters.

I have to admit that I'm not really feeling this show so far. The entire premise makes so little sense to me. It feels out of character that Michonne would leave Judith and RJ. Why did the CRM choose to work with Jadis? Why did they keep Rick alive despite him trying to escape several times? I'm watching because of Rick but so far he hasn't done much and we're already halfway through the show.

I am really enjoying the show. It's just so great to see Ricky Dicky Doo Dah Grimes again! The 2nd episode was my favorite so far. Thorne is my least favorite element, only because I can't understand a word she says. That was an odd choice for the writers to make, but c'est la vie. Can't wait to see what happens next! Hope they had parachutes! Lol
