Because it’s expensive asf that’s why, Andrew Lincoln even mentioned that they ran out of money while making this show and you can clearly see why, it’s just not that simple to make that happen for other shows and especially the main one since that one was so huge which would’ve been very difficult for them to do

@@dex337Money has nothing to do with it really, the writing is what’s important and while I feel World Beyond improves in Season 2, Season 1 was tough. Fear became a shit show from Seasons 4-8 and Tales had so much potential but wasn’t what it should have been The main show and fear seasons 1-3 managed to achieve so much (Yes the main show suffered in Seasons 6-8 but returned to form in Season 9) still managed to achieve great quality despite not having massive budgets

Dead City, Daryl and this one so far have been really solid and I think a big part is the actors are executive producers and get a say in the creative process with Danai and Andrew especially being credited as co-creators and Danai writing an episode. So you get the love, care and attention that these shows deserve Fear would have been so much better had Erickson stayed on and if they hadn’t crossed Morgan over

The entire reason Rick is keeping Michonne in the dark is NOT a plot hole. He KNOWS she is brash, headstrong and cannot help herself. If she knows about Thorne, and Jadis and a lot of the details, she will go against even what Rick says and get herself killed trying to take people out.

I feel like Thorne is like Shane (caught in a 'love' triangle) and she can sense Rick might have a soft spot for Michonne. I loved how Rick said in that scene that he drew his gun to protect her by taking off the heat from Michonne.....Thorne acts like she has control over Rick. I think she's going to end up with the same fate as Shane at the hands of Rick. I feel like Rick also trauma bonded with the CRM which is why we see a slightly different Rick yet I feel like he's also staying to protect his family in Alexandria. That scene when Rick told Michonne it's over hit hard especially when you know they clearly love each other.

Rick had mentioned that the only reason he stayed alive is because someone kept him alive. The only way to live, specially as a A is to have someone on the inside keeping you alive, that’s where Thorne came in, Rick needed her to keep Michonne alive. I believe the original plan was to get a bunch of A’s to infiltrate the army from the inside and change it but now Thorne is brainwashed so I don’t think she’s gonna be Down to protect A’s. My opinion

Well I think I understand why Rick doesn't want everyone from Alexandria brought there because he doesn't even want Michonne there really, he doesn't want anyone wrapped up in this. The CRM isn't exactly the best place to live and we've seen that in World Beyond directly. Not only would they use his friends and family against him but there'd probably also just be a fear of them discovering he's an A, as they interview all the people from Alexandria and the surrounding communities there'd bound to be some inconsistencies that would reveal Rick was the leader and that Michonne is also an A and that she's his partner. He also just probably wouldn't want to risk the CRM just killing them all instead of bringing them in seeing how they handled Michonne's group. I'd like to see them explain this more directly as well but those are just my thoughts on it.

We can't just assume she took them both out of the helicopter without a plan. I mean, they're clearly unharmed in the episode 4 preview, so she must have had something up her sleeve. Plus, Michonne's always been super observant. Michonne went to an orientation and to the city so I wonder if there is already a resistance forming amongst consignees. Some viewers forget that Michonne was an attorney and is very smart. Tired of seeing how “reckless she is” while Rick is given all the sympathy and a free pass for his erratic behavior that has Michonne so confused. I am frustrated with Rick! Bro is not himself!! And yeah, I'm loving every side-eye Michonne was giving Rick in this episode. He totally deserved it. Every silent moment she has with Rick is incredible. I do not know many actors who can convey emotion like that in a scene with another actor. They (Danai and Andrew) are brilliant together. Rick's definitely pushing her away with all his wishy-washy behavior. One minute he's like, "I'll get us a plan," and then next, he's like, "Nah, peace out." Then, “Everything we had is broken!” Like boy, come on! No wonder Michonne's not buying it. This isn't the Rick she knew back in the day, and he's definitely not communicating effectively. She had to do something drastic to get him away from that brainwashing environment. Loved this episode. Loved Rick’s smirk and “shit haircut” comment. I thought the walker situation with the two love birds was a little corny, but I am here for Richonne, so give me more of them time please. Thorne, I do have a difficult time with her accent, but her acting is better in this episode. I wonder if she is threatened by Michonne since Beale has her on his radar. Most likely it may be a bad thing. I wonder what that echelon meeting entailed. Thorne is drinking some kool aid for sure. I am thinking that the next time she has a chance to off Mich, she will take it. That would be unfortunate. The mention of Carl was wonderful and made me emotional. An epic love story does not always have to end in tragedy. I hope not. What a ride and I am strapped in.

Why did she jump them from the helicopter? Why did Rick chop of his hand even though he certainly wasn't gonna get away? Desperation. Temporary insanity. Walls closing in. Her husband just told her, after making out with her in the forest and promising they were gonna escape the right way, that they were broken and didn't belong together anymore. Rick and been pulling Michonne back and forth since she got there. And keeping things from her. She saw Jadis. He NEVER mentioned Jadis. They were taking her back to consignment where she would be separated from him AGAIN for God knows how long. And she CAME ALL THIS WAY and left her children for WAY TOO LONG and she IS DESPERATE to get their father, her husband, the love of her life, HOME. May seem silly to you, but to Michonne I'd rather die trying than to give up now. Rick is on the I don't want you to die so stop trying. Yeah. Like she said in the trailer for ep04. They needed a time out. So they can tell each other all the stuff they've been holding from each other, get their heads in the game and come up with a plan that works and won't take forever or separate them again.

I agree. This episode was straight fire. The whole thing had me hyped the whole time. It was the first time in many years I did not want the show to end, I want episode 4 now. I feel like the writing is very good. The scenes flow nicely and not a scene felt wasted this episode. I feel like more has happened in 3 episodes than the entire last season of Fear. If Fear is what not to do with a TV show, this is an example of what to do. Constant momentum and strong identity in the writing. As for your points, I think bringing everybody to the CRM would be terrible, these motherfuckers kill people for no reason. Sometimes for doing barely anything at all. Especially with Jadis' crazy ass gassing people out in the open. It's basically one step away from being The Sanctuary with the people involved. I do however, agree with Rick being too hasty and telling Thorne and trying to save Michonne in weird ways, that was the only iffy part of the episode for me. I think Thorne is just TOO into her mission. She's getting lost in what people are telling her she has a point to her life now. The decision Rick will make in episode 5 or 6 will be killing her and maybe many CRM soldiers, mirroring Okafor. I found Rick roasting Jadis hilarious too. I laughed out loud when he told her off with her haircut. Lmao.

I think Rick was very secretive with Michonne because he doesn’t want to burden her with the same information he has regarding Jadis and stuff. He probably thinks if Michonne gets details on anything she’d be a liability and would risk her “having to stay”. Not sure though, just my thoughts.

To me the reason they haven't thought about bringing everyone from Alexandria etc to the CR is because thats dangerous and risky (cause of A's and B's and all of that) but also because that would kind of defeat the purpose of everything our characters have fought for and sacrificed for and the lives they have built for themselves in Alexandria, Hilltop, Commonwealth etc. So to me thats not really a plot hole, that just is a boring easy way out that I don't think any of our characters would realistically even want to do.

Agree if Rick explained why she needs to leave him behind she may have gone. They are both leaders and the greater good would trump personal needs. And look I’d be okay living in the CRM walls for the rest of my life since outside them is horrible. But not everyone will be happy if they can’t leave. Daryl would be dead in a week😂. So they can’t just bring everyone in. Btw am I the only one that thinks every woman around Rick is in love with him? Why would Thorne be jealous of “Dana” and why does Jadis want Rick at the CRM? I think that the answer to what you were asking about why they didn’t just bring in the rest of the people? In the beginning of this new episode, Rick, and Jadis have a conversation, and Jeyda tells him about when she had people how they used to trade resources. There must be something in that conversation. That was maybe overlooked as to why she couldn’t have had her people brought in with her, and that it only had to be her, and how she was supplying A’s and B’s???

This was the best episode out of three so far, every single scene was interesting and just like you said "kept me at the edge of my seat" 😂 I mean we can see that big budget there, Gimple is really doing a good job right now with Andrew and Danai The only thing just like you mentioned was kinda stuck in my head too, I mean, he could've said things better and mention Jadis right away that she saved him but all of em including Michonne would be killed if he leaves because she has the upper hand on him cause she is a strong believer to this cause, and he can't even kill her cause they would have found her file about Alexandria, I think they don't have it right now, just in case of her "untimely demise" if I understood that correctly, they would find it Either way, this is really great, the only thing that is missing here is adult Carl I genually hope they will talk about CRM more, that he would explain to her that this isn't Philip(Gov)or Negan and says it better and she would talk about how communities have been doing to the moment she left That landscape shot, amazing❤ 😂😂😂i was going to the kitchen at the end and when you mentioned Travis that was exactly what I was thinking during that episode and I hoped you would mention this and God I started laughing at the whole house 🤣

Yeah I'm still waiting for that Rick but for now we have a rick who is continuously being punked by 2 lady bosses being jadis and Thorne who I thought were horribly written and acted this episode, Thorne's try hard speech to her and Rick's unit before that fight in the woods is an example🤷‍♂️ I liked thorn in the premiere episode but man something about this episode just did not sit right with me whatsoever.. we only got three episodes left so let's hope some eventful stuff happens and let's hope that General beal at least has some time to shine as a villain because at this point I'm getting a feeling he's going to be a nothing Villain Like Pope in season 11 and we'll just yet again have nothing but more lady bosses which at this point is getting ridiculous I can make a whole list of specific lady bosses but if you've been watching the TWD Universe the last couple years then you already know!

You definitely have the only negative opinion I’ve seen on this episode. I thought this one was the best, ep 1 was next, the first half of episode 2 with Michonne, the little guy, and the couple sucked terribly, but the second half after she finds Rick was awesome. The writers and actors have knocked this one out of the park. Maybe rewatch it. Or maybe you just have a contrary opinion on this one. This is peak TWD.

@@JayBirdsChannel and im completely fine with that because regardless what others think or say that's my opinion, my experience while in the motion of watching it, trust me im shocked i felt and have the opinion i do but this ep just had that effect on me 🤷‍♂️ and as for the fist 2 eps i loved em but can definitely see why you wouldn't have liked the first part of ep2 but it just worked for me even tho i only liked nate out of that bunch and i definitely felt and think those first ep's have a clearer more coherent feel and vision to em🤷‍♂️ and there are thing's in ep 3 i like for example some of the aerial shots with the helicopters going over the lake and the Mountainside ,the cinematography has really been on point given a certain sense of scale and scope that the Commonwealth arc failed to do in season 11... there are only 3 episodes left and if this is indeed a one and done show then i expect and hope they start making some very big moves in each of these episodes!

I found it entertaining. Of course she is mad. She has missed him for years and went through traumatic stuff for over a year trying to find him and now he is pushing her away. Her anger reflects her love.

Rick was all over the place. Making out with her one minute and then declaring everything they had was broken the next. He was being confusing and hurtful, which is why she was side eyeing him!
