I can't believe they didn't have better security than that. They had keys to the whole place and plenty of furniture to make sure they at least wake up when Trash Lady or anyone else, shows up. You prop up something noisy to fall over if the lobby door opens. Make sure windows are locked, etc.

Rick Grimes full circle moment- In the prison, when Rick was hallucinating and talking on the phone, he thinks he is talking to Lori, and he says, "This world is broken, and I can't put the pieces back together." Rick proposes to Michonne and says, "It’s a broken world, Michonne, and you're the only thing that puts it back together. Till my last breath, I am yours." RickGrimes is whole, healed, complete and loved. All because of Michonne ❤

It was an M necklace going back to the dream/nightmare she had of Mike her lover/baby daddy, his best friend and her son. Mike gave it to her to represent Mike and Michone as one.

Michonne does have that necklace. She has worn it through out her entire time in the series. HOWEVER, when Rick had to bring her in to the CRM, in episode 2, I believe she had to give up her sword, a walkie talkie, her journal, stuff that led back to Alexandria or showed a connection to Rick. And she may have taken off the necklace because of that. I believe, at that point, she had Rick's old wedding ring on the necklace. So Rick, being the thinker that he is, gave her a necklace to replace the one she wasn't going to be able to get back since they left all of those personal items in Rick's room. Now that I think of it, whatever happens on the last episode at the base in west, Rick and Michonne will still be able to be linked to Alexandria due to Michonne's personal items being in Rick's possession in his room at the CRM location in Philadelphia. Unless he decided to burn the journal and discard everything she had with her, if they find those items in the coach cushions in his base apartment, they get a lot of info. And with the CRM thinking Rick was dead, I could see them already searching his quarters/getting rid of his items. The CRM probably already knows everything.

The spearmint and baking soda was a call back to 6x10 after they bumped into Jesus and brought him back to Alexandria! 😅

the whole machete thing is just a funny way of showing that everything is going their way. they found the noodles, then as they're looking at a vending machine blocked by vines, a walker that just happens to have a machete sticking out of it pops up

"Jadis" was all in for the CRM based upon her need to survive and have power. "Anne" humanity was her conflict based upon the corruption she participated with that she knew was morally wrong. It's why she would visit Gabriel, to touch in her humanity and remember the person she was and also to let go of "Anne" so she can continue to believe in the CRM. She was a great character who kept you guessing, and they concluded her character arc, showing that humanity and keeping moral beliefs is a key component to survive in the apocalypse. Michonne did have a letter "M" chain where she also hung Rick's ring but had to lose it when she found Rick and went to the CRM. It's was a great parallel to Rick noticing that as he did when he gave her the cat from jadis because she lost the one she got with Carl in the prison. This was an amazing episode!!! This series has been EPIC!!! TEAM RICHONNE!!!!❤

Did you notice they even went as far as to alter Father Gabriel’s facial hair styles each year Anne came back to visit him? Great attention to detail. I haven’t gone back through the seasons to check for accuracy, but I’m sure they were mirroring his goatee or lack thereof from those years.

She mentioned that she saw the yellow truck at the crash site it stood out, and when she returned, it was gone, and she knew where they were headed and the route they'd have to take.

To nitpick Jadis finding them is to completely disregard everything she said about how she did it, which I thought was pretty smart writing. Because that is how our brains work. Later, we can’t explain why one thing stuck out in a moment of other, bigger things occurring. And I think a bright-ass yellow car is something that would stick out. And they’ve established that SHE would double-check because no one knows their (Richonne) dynamic like she does. So, to go back and notice that car gone along with dead walkers not taken out by the falling building… come on. Then she said she followed the most direct route to where she knew they were headed. AND they did get sloppy and comfortable. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Frankly, this was refreshing because in the past TWD would absolutely yada yada over how something occurred, but when they finally explain something people still disregard it. 😂

It was a really great explanation, BUT, there is one hiccup. The helicopter. Did Jadis follow Rick and Michonne in a jeep or did she actually fly out there? If she followed them in a jeep, than I totally buy the fact that she was able to see discarded noodle wrappers that told her she was on the right path. If she flew there, how would she know where to stop and when along the trail? And if she didn't fly there, does the CRM just leave helicopters at drop sites throughout the country unattended? Jadis was trying to get back to that drop site to fly back to the base and get medical help. I assume she knew there was a helicopter there because she put it there. How can they assume that no one is going to steal their helicopter? But this is a really tiny hiccup.

@@fizzychizzy She didn't fly there she followed them with the car from the chase. And the drop point is basically like that BRP they carried around. They can radio in from there and they will get picked up.

At the end, if we are seeing Gabriel waiting for Jadis for their annual meeting she could have found them. I think she was headed to Alexandra anyway and they left clues on the way...not too hard to believe

I honestly think that opening scene with Gabe is a current version of him and he’s not just in the flashback. He had a full goatee in the opening scene and he heard a helicopter over head and the episode ends with a helicopter flying over the forest. I think Gabe went looking for Jadis because she didn’t show up to the yearly merting

Another Great episode was really good to get those flash back scenes with Jadis and Gabriel

You don't hire an actor as fantastic as Terry O'Quinn, and only feature him majorly in the last episode, so there HAS to be a second season. RIP Jadis, in the end she went UP UP UP! 😉🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Seeing the Wyoming sign and being born and raised there I was so happy to see home again. They are most likely near Yellowstone National park or Thermopolis as they both have hot springs and huge calcium deposits as a result. Love seeing new walker variations.

This whole series has been amazing.

It was cool seeing Gabriel again. Slightly uneven episode for me but I still liked it. Loved seeing the infamous Rick head tilt with the three people 😝 I’m hoping they learned their lesson with the series finale leading into the spin-off shows by not announcing a Season 2 until after next week. Fingers crossed!

The echelon plan: the only thing i can think of that "could" automatically make people be on board... of what we know... maybe they tell them about Frances' weirdness, and the idea of bulldozing to the goal (world domination) is more important than doing it in a way that doesn't feel gross...? Knowledge of a batshit enemy they/we need gone yesterday could light a fire under people... also, the shows are supposed to tie back together... we gotta bring france in at some point, somewhere... We've mentioned using walkers for fuel, so that kinda taps negan and maggie do Manhattan, a lil. And I've lost count of the world beyond touch points... I can't think of a fear one (morgan and dwight can come back, and we can all pretend fear never happened... lol)... idk. Just the half assed thoughts that come to mind.

I’m really surprised Rick and Michone dropped their guard so much. Also Anne/Judus did the ultimate bad guy stupid decision to wake the people up she was trying to kill to tell them why she was going to kill them lol. That never ever works….

AMC does also have Interview With a Vampire. Not to pit them against each other, because I love both & hope this gets a second season, but Interview with a Vampire was AMC’s highest viewed show when its first season aired and season two is coming out in May. You guys should check it out. It’s really good.

I too wondered if Rick will fully buy into the CRM after getting the briefing but in looking at the photos it looks like he's gotten his red strips and he's still moving forward with Michonne. However, who knows. This series has a ton of misdirects so who knows what's in store. Hoping for a 2nd season because it's so many questions and so much room for more story.

How do you miss that bright yellow truck from the sky? This is why people who try and out run the police chopper fail. 😄 Jadis noticed dead delts around an empty parking space. A Highway of some sort ran past the Complex. Those things don’t get built without acess to an Highway. All she had to do was follow it. And shame on them. Apocalypse or not, ramen wrappers left behind? They shoul’ve found somewhere at the Park to hide that bright-assed truck. National Parks have Facilites garages😆 . But I get i, and I love those love bugs!

The Rick & Michonne toothpaste scene was Season 6 Episode 10, not Season 8.😄

The contents of this season doesn't seem like what would have been in 3 feature films. It feels more like what the 1st film may have covered. So on that, my theory is 3 seasons, equivalent to the 3 films that were planned. So here's hoping that they don't somehow rush everything in the finale and deal with the CRM. It just doesn't seem likely.

Polyana is low key an OG favorite character she came back and CARRIED World Beyond when she showed up on the show it got better and made sense 😂 then came back on this show and finished out the story bravo on her performance!!

Unfortunately when Michonne filled out the paperwork at the hospital, the staff forgot to ask What R.J. Stood for. The hospital staff filed the name as "Rick James."

Idk if anyone noticed this, but at the beginning when Gabriel looks up at the sky, he’s seeing the helicopter flying towards the smoke at the end of this episode. Maybe some people already knew that but wanted to put it out there 🤙

Great episode, lots of callbacks from previous seasons. Seeing Gabriel was definitely surprising but makes sense since he had the closest relationship with Jadis. How do we close out this show with just one episode left??? I’m hoping for a season 2. I know we’ve done a lot of work to get Rick back, do you think after getting the briefing he might have some doubts on ending the CRM?

I remember when this got announced I was always expecting a s5 crazy rick tryna escape and being held captive and him losing himself , would love to see crazy rick again but they went a different route which makes sense

Do we know the run time of the finale? Could it possibly be two hours, like a movie? That's the only way I can see them having time to wrap everything up. Plus, I was under the impression that Andrew Lincoln was not interested in continuing in a series so they would have to get it done in this last episode.

I dont think theres a season 2 of this show. This show was about finding Rick, maybe they have another show in the works for whats next. This last ep might be a huge setup with a good old "walking dead" cliffhanger. Then theyll announce a new show about taking on the CRM and getting home. I hope they do something like that, or just call it season 2 and keep it going just a litter longer. I think we all feel like one ep is not enough to finish this story. They could do a season 2 if they set up another show, or two new characters that can continue the story. And then down the road, bring back rick and michone for a reunion of all og characters.

Also I don't think it was that deep her finding her? She knew where they were supposed to be CRM probably had a tracker on the chopper and then after that she knew where they were going. Rick and Michonne didn't think about covering their tracks because they got a little cocky.

i have always loved the character(s) Anne & Jadis from the start. I am quite shocked that not only had she survive TWD, she also crossed over not one but two more shows, and this... this was her Grand Exit. For a show that gives me that same vibe when i first discovered TWD, it is saying something that is, hands-down, my favorite episode (TOWL).

Awesome episode! I also believe there will be a season 2! Yeah dumping wrappers like that was not very smart but then again I think Jadis could have found them anyway. But Jadis in that World Beyond was all in and she was merciless! I wonder what the timeline is now with the World Beyond? What about the scientists working on the cure? Yeah we need more seasons to tie all these lose ends. And then of course there is New York and Paris that are tied in too? Especially with Daryl and the boy who might be the Cure!!

Love this series...something I noticed tho, and I dont know, I could be wrong, but at the very beginning when we first see Gabe, I think he was on his way back to Alexandria from that last visit with Jadis/Anne (where she didnt show up) he heard/saw helicopter(s). Do you think Beale already knows something about Alexandria? Maybe what happens in episode 6 leads to the CRM taking out Alexandria? I dont know...just thoughts running thru my mind...and I totally could be way off. I have really enjoyed your reactions to these shows! Keep up the awesome content!!

That's the thing, it could be a flashback, flash forward. It could even be from a different place and not Alexandria. I think they are making it look like Alexandria is attacked. But if it is, I think they would have been warned already by radio by Michonne. They will reunite with their kids so I don't think they will die.

Can any tell me when Anne would have painted those portraits of Glenn and others? I feel like those were hanging up in the home at Hill Top but I don't recall any significant interaction between Maggie and Anne.

Now I'm sure Carol told Daryl the name Michonne on the radio. So i think episode 6 Michonne is going back home alone and Rick need to stay to stop something. I think they going to find out that the next mission is to destroy all the communitys and on of them is the Commonwealth and Alexandria that why Michonne will go back to tell everyone in case Rick can't stop it. But anyway if no season 2, we will have a new show to reunite everyone and have a battle against the CRM.

She was a great, full and complex character. Excellent in this world for sure. Pollyanna McIntosh played her so well. How cool to play 3 different tolls in 1 universe!!

@@katieyoung5916 I totally agree. She was brilliant. The way there was alternation between Jadis and Anne in this episode was great. In the end she liked being Anne, just Anne. It's a shame she ended up like that, I'd love to see her defeat CRM together with Rick and Michonne.

I'm pretty certain this is it for Rick and Michonne. 1 more episode of their characters but the whole Gabriel thing has got me thinking, the only way they can carry on the crm story is to have someone else take Rick's place. Therefore i wouldnt be surprised if Gabe is somehow picked up and going forward there will be a series involving him and crm. Who knows tho but i do think we will get a reunion with Judith/RJ most likely over the radio with the final scene rick saying 'it's the brave man' or something

I don't think many ppl would watch a series with only Gabriel. But I see him being involved in next ep. Danai/Andy have to want to do another season (with full control, of course) AMC will have to persuade with big bucks!

Why would they allow Gabe into the Civic Republic? Rick would be the only one to get close, let alone inside. I think the reunion will be the finale but a second season to reunite everyone and take down CRM.

I was also wondering what about that kid Silas you know the one with the large feet that Jadis commented on? What if they encounter him next season as a villain!!!
