We saw good CGI in the main series. We saw movie quality CGI in Dead City and Daryl Dixon.

An apocalypse war movie between the commonwealth and the CRM is my wet dream

I am SO exited about this show, it'll probably be my favorite spinoff

Soooo excited. Richonne reunion. Rick finding out Michonne was pregnant & gave birth to the baby he wanted so badly is going to be epic. Hopefully him seeing Judith again… Not to mention they have Terry as the General and Lesly. The cast is stacked with quality actors and Danai co-writing is gonna be great.

what michone is firing into the horde at the beggining of the trailer looks to me like a NOISE BOMB, you shoot it into something and it makes a ton of noise to atract zombies

Very excited! Totally agree, we need a final crossover thing bringing everything together. I could also see Rick and our group taking over CRM and fighting the French lady and her super walkers.

I know the budget is something you’ve been critical about with the TWD. Not sure if it’s accurate, but I read that they are spending like $13 million per episode for this show. The trailer does look like it’s higher budget than the previous twd shows in my opinion.

I think when it comes to the reunion part, we have to put ourselves into the actors shoes. As big as this series is, not every actor is going to be available to film a small part. Which can cause some disappointment, but it’s understandable since these are actors, it’s different since we are fans.

That’s very true but also ppl need to remember this show is a spinoff not the main show. It was never about the others. The primary focus was always reuniting Rick with his wife. Ppl shouldn’t be expecting Rick to see Daryl, Maggie & Carol. That would be great but they can successfully close his arc as long as he sees Michonne & Judith again.

@@Pfruit0916 Exactly, the whole point of the spin-off’s is to explore more about certain characters. Not anyone else. Daryl & Carol have their own show, like Maggie & Negan, and Rick & Michonne, it’s to see how they all fair into different worlds, while closing out their arcs. Everyone else has had their arcs respectively closed out.

@@Rknowles813 because they’ve said the focus of this show is Rick & Michonne reuniting. The focus is their love story. Daryl is literally in another country. We have no clue where Morgan is. Neither has even been hinted at as seeing Rick in this show. So while it would be a nice surprise it isn’t likely and shouldn’t be expected. They have 6 episodes to explained what’s happened with Rick for the last decade: Delve into CRM, explore Michonnes journey to finding him. Reunite them, fighting their way out of CRM and hopefully getting home to their daughter and son.

@@Pfruit0916 I'm not saying those characters are gonna be in multiple episodes or anything like that, but it would be dumb not to have a 10-15 min scene with them together again. Yeah Daryl and Carol are in a different country, but they'll be coming back soon. Morgan's FTWD exit would be pointless if he doesn't reunite with Rick. I'm a firm believer that it won't be only 1 season though. At the end of the trailer it said "new series" not "limited series" like they've been saying so i think it'll be 2-3 seasons OR they'll have a limited series/movie to reunite everyone, but it will definitely happen. Could even happen in a S3 of Daryl's show.

in regards to how the timeline plays out i foresee rick spending the first 2-3yrs as a prisoner forced into working around the CRM with 1 or 2 escape attempts the last of which results in rick losing a hand. The next couple of years will be rick seemingly accepting his current fate/home and willingly putting in work and making new friends at the CRM but eventually after earning enough respect and trust from the CRM he has a chance to become a CRM solider which allows another chance of escape since being a solider would involve being out on the frontlines in the world...how they structure the 6 plus year time period from when rick first left up to Michonne's departure in s10 will make or break this show/storyline, but so far i like what i see in this trailer! .

After all these years of waiting and us non US viewers won’t even be able to watch it. Thanks AMC. Although I still struggle to see how this story can be finished in 6 episodes as we know that’s all we’re getting.

Yeah good memory because yeah that bombing of Atlanta was from an early episode of season 2 actually . It was a flash back with Shane getting Lori and Carl out of Atlanta when they were stuck in traffic on the road and that’s how they met Carol and Sophia with Ed . Lori walked off that road and Shane went to comfort Lori in the woods just hugging eachother with sad grief while they saw that view from a distance of Atlanta getting bombed by those choppers .

They are connecting the military we saw very early in the TWD, that was CRM all this time in my opinion

The next TWD spin-off is "Carol" which is going to be sort of a season 2 for Daryl Dixon. Afterwards will be TWD movie when they going to have all the characters for the spin-off series come together for a big crossover which was the plan from the start.

I prefer their look in World Beyond, though. Hopefully there's a reason for the different uniforms and it's not just the show being unsure with different designs. The thick flightsuit for pilots and scouts in Fear(gas masks were because of radioactive particles in the Texas air, ridged helmet for scouts) the sleak uniform for research facility security in World Beyond, and this rugged red marked version for standard infantry. This would be ideal.

Dead City and Daryl are getting season 2s, with that i strongly believe this show will be 95% of them seperated and coming together at the end for a season 2. Thats my personal tbought. Especially since they planned for 3 movies, i dont think 6 episodes is enough to condense all that

I think after they finish it they should do a new show with All the kids and new characters from like 20 years into the future. I don’t think they should just end it all. Because this is a huge universe that I think can be expanded with other things. They should make a movie called the walking dead worlds collide, and have every show and spinoff put together to fight the crm

Sorry, that would be a snooze fest in my opinion. The show gradually got worse when zombies weren't a threat anymore. I like the CRM plot fight but that would be only one episode ( maybe 2 max). What would they do for the other episodes? Filler... More filler.... And more.
