I agree, it wasn't as good as the first episode but still it was really good! I wish those 3 had lived but under the circumstances the CRM would have had to accept their whole group. I think they killed them because they were on the way to finding the 'hidden city' and they felt they couldn't support that many more people. Remember 'resource limitations' was a part of the reason they destroyed 'Omaha'.

Pollyana Mcintosh is a really underrated actor. She went from the weird garbage girl to someone who can stand toe to toe with Rick and it not feel forced. The way she said "Rick what the fuck are you doing?" sounded too authentic 😂

This show took him through an emotional roller coaster. He was calm at the beginning, ugly crying in the middle, and maniacally laughing by the end. Top tier reaction.😂

I'm so glad that Nat mentions that he thought the first rocket he shoots was a dud. I was confused last episode. I thought that one of Okafor's grenades were shot and that's why he blew up, which isn't something that happens. But now it makes sense that Nat didn't see the first rocket explode, because it exploded in Okafor's body lol. It wasn't a dud, it was just muffled by going off inside Okafor.

This episode BROKE me 😢 RIP Nat… he ranked up to top 10 of my favorite characters and still only got one episode with him!!!

What an emotional one. The writer of this show is brilliant. We've only just met these side characters and already started to care for them. Brilliant edition to the franchise. It felt really tense and overwhelming at times. If they stay on track with the quality, then I'm all in for future walking dead.

@@Varsus_ Scott Gimple can tell a hell of a story. Where he lacks is his ability to write dialogue. Characters sounded robotic at a point in seasons 7 and 8, stopping to give speeches every 5 minutes, saying things that no real person would actually say. That's why I loved season 9 so much, because it felt more like the first few seasons with the way characters interacted and talked to each other. I think Angela Kang, Danai, and the others who worked on Dead City and Daryl Dixon have done wonders for TWD universe.

All the new characters including okafor were enjoyable to watch; especially Nat. TWD writers were good at having us like characters who did some wrong shht. Game of thrones was good in that way too

Oh man, this episode was so fucking good, I'm probably gonna watch it 10 times over the week. That scene between Rick and Jadis was phenomenal, I love how Rick didn't say a word, just kept giving her the infamous Rick glare...you know, the one that means you're fucking dead! 😆

When I saw them reunite I looked at how much time was left and fell to my knees when I saw like 20 minutes left

Man I can’t believe it but I couldn’t hold back tears when they reunited

I’m just so damn happy they’re together and I’m really looking forward to him (hopefully) seeing RJ!

I watched the episode and cried at the reunion. Then I watched this and cried at it again. This, THIS is why we are fans of The Walking Dead!

This was an absolute amazing episode! Cried like a baby..it was an emotional one for sure. It was both sad and happy. But The Richoone reunion was everything!! 🥺 Just wish she told him about RJ. We've all waited so long, but it was soo worth it!!

What gets me even more hyped for the rest of this season, is that the trailers pretty much only showed us episodes 1 & 2! Imagine what comes next!

I screamed noooooo when they killed off Nat. TWD reminding me that amazing characters still die in these shows. And it was such a touching reunion but Michonne’s gonna mean business when dealing w/ the CRM. Also, she cldn’t tell Rick about RJ bc she knows that he would go berserk and reckless trying to escape then. She knows her husband can be a loose cannon. 😅

Episode 1 and 2 are GOATed ❤ It feels so good to be in love with TWD again. thank you Andy & Danai ❤

I can't believe they made me cry over characters that we just met in this episode. They did a great job getting me to care. Ugh, that Richonne reunion was the best part. Finally, they're reunited. I'm going to tell you the truth. I forgot about Jadis 😂. I was like, who the hell is watching Michonne. And why tf are they in Rick's apartment? I thought this episode was just as good as the first one. The Walking Dead is back 🎉

I knew Nat was going to bite the dust eventually but still god dammit always killing off characters I really like. Couldn't have just let him go back to Alexandria....lol

I love your reaction. They do not guve us enough time to breathe! All good stuff. When Jadis talks to Rick about their long standing deal I want to know more about that. Possibly, Rick stays to keep his family safe. That has to be the deal. Just as M isn't telling R everything, neither is R. I think that we are up for some more suprises. Michonne at the CRM is dangerous! I am worried because she is the Queen and has not experienced the oppressiveness of the CRM. I think of how she was at Woodbury and her defiance against Negan. I can see RIck saying babe chill out. Oh man...I just want them to sit down and hug each other for a long time. Sigh.

Twice this show has gutted me with killing Okafor and Nat lmao both of them were such good characters and interesting to watch, but this show can never lt us have nice things lol unless the nice things are Rick and Michonne, in which case, they can keep it coming! They are a beautiful pair which I'll never get enough of. I didn't enjoy this episode AS much as the premier, but it was by no means bad, this was awesome and I just keep getting more and more excited for the next episodes. Even though I hate the method. this show is so good it's making me wish AMC was the type of channel to drop the full season at once lol

Tbh I didn't care much about Okafor and I'd say that episode 2 was more or less equal to episode 1. Those 3 deaths hit really hard and that gas scene in general was just absolutely brutal

B's are people who just want to live, can be used as workers... followers. During the mother ship, they never fully explained what they exactly were, but in World beyond, A's were strong people who are expermimented on.

OMMFG!!! This episode was sooooo good. (99/100) where episode one was (100/100). But, holy crayola, I loved it. The only regret was Nat! He should have LIVED. HE could help them take down the CRM. What a sad waste of a brilliant mind. RIP Nat!!!

This episode was OUTSTANDING 💯♥️.but so sad. I loved thise characters. That's our Eatontown Monmouth Mall here in New Jersey......they filmed there for almost a month ( because our mall is practically a ghost town due to the pandemic and 90% of the stores moved out). Now the mall is shut down. I went to afrw filming locations and love how they edited everything. I even met Andrew Lincoln. They been doing a lot of filming fir The Ones Who Live and Dead City here in Jersey....loved every minute of it. Glad you are enjoying The Ones Who Live and great reactions....I can't wait for episode 3 ♥️

honestly, it was miles better than the first one in my opinion. first one was fantastic, but this one surpassed the first one. everything was just so well executed. one of the best twd episodes in recent memory imo.

You can definitely see the difference between Angela & Gimple when it comes to killing off characters, and it does live up to its name “The Ones Who Live”. I still refuse to believe that all of Michonne’s group were wiped out by that gas, there were like thousands of them.

I had to go back to when Rick was in his apartment, with the Omaha situation, and the glass shard in his hand. to see if he was involved with that at all. I really dont believe he was. I also didnt know if he became a soldier in red. but i noticed he was flying okafor and his soldiers who were the death squads. Rick was so close to joining okafor and his mission, that i think that Rick might have been in one of those death squads until Nat and Michonne blew up the helicopter. He was about to burn down the crop fields to save the world, but he was about to turn into a monster to do so.

omg this my favorite is Rick and Michonne and it was so funny little men his name Nat! if rick knows find out about jadis! i hope stay alive both of Rick and Michonne!!

i prefer this one to the first episode. the first episode was kind of a jarring tonal shift from the main series and it was a great episode but it felt all over the place, like a montage of things happening. this felt like an actual episode

My theory is that they will continue the story in a differently called spin off and leave Ones Who Live as a one season show

Great review. ;) I found this episode to be better, in addition to a great supplemental episode, than the first. Obviously Episode 1 was much more EXCITING, for a number of reasons, namely that it was the premiere and Rick MuthuPhukkin Grimes was finally back on our screens. 💥😎 Episode 2, however, was the better of the two - for me. Loved them both and SooOoooOooo looking forward to More! ;)

Even if the ppl Nat started to lead made it to the heli crash they still would've died. The CRM wipes out groups/gommunities. The only reason Michonne lived was bc of Rick & the story he came up with

I really believe Negan will end up running N.Y., and be in control of all the fuel that I suspect the CRM has been getting. Rick and Negan will have to work togeather someday. Not sure where Daryl will be in all this but he and Carol will be.

this was a great episode, very well done, better than the first honestly :) the only thing I disliked was the shitty death they gave Nat, your classic bad guy lying on the ground shooting you out of nowhere crap, it just felt like they wanted to get rid of the character and didnt really know how, but Nat was a good character even in such a short amount of time and that death was beyond stinky

Pretty sure jadis needs to keep it a secret because she would get in trouble for lying about Rick

There was this incredibly predatory vibe I got from Jadis' conversation with Rick. It was like even interacting with her was repulsive to him like she'd abused him in some way.

I watched the final scene a bunch of times because it's badass
