Question. Glad Hershel Called out Maggie? Did you notice that they cut off Hershel's toe? Why at the end that he wanted to stay with that Nut? Sorry, but the lack of Appreciation for Rescueing Hershell seems to go on "Death Ears" here. Maggie isn't perfect but makes little sense to me on Hershell's Attitude.

Yes - and right before that, she says “I DON’T KNOW HOW” - that implies that she’s probably not looking to kill him.

To me, the ending means Maggie and Negan are finally on the same page. We had this moment with Negan and Daryl when they both are sitting on the log looking in opposite directions.

Negan is so legendary an entire city wants to kidnap him to lead them lol

I’m confused how Maggie and Herschel and also Ginny and the Marshall got off the island so easily after they made such a big deal about how there were no boats

I hope there is like a small time jump before season 2, and we see Negan as a bad guy again, leading the city, but he's only pretending, like Eugene and turns on them

The stab thing with Negan isn't a big deal. I've seen real scenarios where people had WAY worse injuries and they didn't even notice because of the adrenaline. It's alot more powerful than people give it credit for. The only thing really off about how they did it here is they didn't show him feeling or treating it later on towards the end. Just him complaining about his leg lol.

Someone stabbed me in the neck with a box cutters, was very lucky it didn't hit anything serious, but I felt nothing when it happened, I felt the blood more than anything, but yea I was in adrenaline mode so I somehow managed to fight off my attacker, don't ask me how, I'm not a big fan of fighting or violence, but here I am today able to tell the tale.

I found myself getting really interested in this whole NYC vs New Babylon beef

I pretty much called it. This was so much fun to discuss with you guys. I didn't see the Herschel toe part, or the New Babylon methane part, but I am ok with that 😊. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is such a fantastic actor. The pain, grief, guilt and fear in his face when he saw Ginny, looks at Maggie, all of it is so authentic. I'm glad Herschel told her what he did. Someone and I discussed exactly that on one of your posts. Negan would have helped Maggie without all the shady shit. If she had killed Negan, I wonder what would have happened to her kid.

What you say about Negan's stab wound is actually not uncommon. I had a stab wound that required 7 stitches. At first it hurts like hell, but after a few seconds you don't feel much for a few minutes, probably because your body releases adrenaline accordingly. The only problem you have is that you bleed a lot. But the pain is really gone after a few seconds, which lasts a few minutes. Only after that it hurts like hell again. Negan also wears a leather jacket. Such a cowhide jacket weakens the sting strongly. So the injury would have probably not very deep. So - the scene is indeed not really unrealistic.

I think Negan finally feels like he’s payed back his debt. And I think Maggie finally realizes this.

No i think was Maggie was regretting her decision and she did she say has finish this thing with Negan and when saw the drawing Herchel of Dama she knows who she is by look her face so she is going back to save Negan !

I think her “being done with it” isnt her letting go but her going to save Negan so they can be even and she can be totally done

U guys see the crm hint too when the blond lady spoke about the powers behind the Marshalls and their obsession with reasources just like the crm that’s what I think anyway

It is pretty obvious that maggie struggled to let negan sacrifice to the croat in their last scene together. It is negan who put the knife away and surrender to the croat. It is pretty obvious that maggie will let her angst move on. She will rescue negan.

Honestly, they should've made this "trapped" scenario much more serious. I mean, The Dama is using Hershel as the device with which she's going to keep Negan under control, so how does Negan solve this issue? He kills her, it's that simple.Hell, they were alone in the room together, he could've done it right then and there.

I have feeling that in season 2 real villains will be folks from New Babylon

Enjoyed the show id give it a 7/10. Hopefully it gets better as it goes and becomes amazing. Im there day 1 for season 2.

I feel like Maggie is a villain and has been for a while. Negan was a villain but like he said only when he felt he had to be. She thinks she is better than he is but I feel like she is worse than he is because she gets just plain viscous. Hope they have a season 2. It will be interesting how they move forward with the story. Great content.

I'm so mixed, I love Negan so much but I really don't want everything that he's gone through to be for nothing. Negan is a fantastic villain but I don't want him to revert back to that. If it's a Eugene-type situation, fantastic.

Great first season. Agree with you guys 6 episodes is way to short. We want more.

I hope they don’t make a season of episodes with Negan bad again and string this shit our. His character has already come full circle let’s not go for round 2…also Rick needs to see Negan as a good guy I think it’s the best decision for the show and the fans deserve it.

He is obviously being forced to become a bad man again. This is important for his character arc. We've seen him be a good man but only when he has had no power. The question is can Negan remain good and have power.

Doubt it. Season 2 was already written. Ginny’s actress said that she was gearing up to head back to NJ for filming. It’ll be fast tracked when this whole thing is over

@@jw9945Sure the actress said that she was coming back to film S2, but with the strike going on. It’s likely the filming got delayed. Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, were both spotted filming S2. It’s hard to say whether the strike cut it short. So Dead City might start filming until late 2024. Depends on this strike.

@McKnight2022 ^ Facts. It's a completely unprecedented situation. Hopefully, it goes well, but people focusing on it know it's going to be a long drawn out stalemate. Its heart breaking but people deserve to be compensated fairly for what they do. I condone the strikes. I just feel like your average youtuber, movie/ entertainment lover doesn't actually grip the concept that pretty much everything you could possibly care about is on a complete standstill. They just expect it to continue when it won't.

Really great finale! So many great moments and I thought the end was awesome and they set up a lot for season 2. I was completely against Negan becoming a villain after all this redemption but the way they wrote it he's being forced into doing it

He wasn't talking about Rory. For one, he said it was a settlement by the river. Then, he said the guy he killed was the leader, so it definitely wasn't Rory.

Good thing I'm now watching things through the actual AMC+ service instead of Amazon Prime as well.

This is kinda reminding me Fallout New Vegas with New Babylon being the NCR and Manhattan being like New Vegas and the Sewers being Hoover dam. And pretty much Negan being the courier as well as the settlement(s) being the boomers or the vault that contain many securitrons.

He wasn't lying at all, I'm not sure why you'd see it that way. He was upset and it was difficult for him to do, because he didn't want her to know. Also, Maggie didn't say she was done with Negan, she said she had to "finish it" with Negan so she can let it go, which sounds to me like she plans on killing him.

I think he left out context. She was the daughter of one of the people that did what they did to his wife--he finds out after he kills them, and takes her in.

There's going to be a season 2. The only spin off that's confirmed to only have one season is the Rick and Michonne show. Both the Daryl show, and Dead City, will have multiple seasons.

Season 2, if done right could be really good. At least it's set up that way. Season 1, it was pretty good. But there are a few small things I take issue with. Starting with the fact that no one else from the hilltop, is still with Maggie's group. Like what the hell happened to the hilltop? The way they tried to kind of explain it, then brush it off. Is a bit weird given that we just saw this kumbaya moment at the end of the regular season. There were also a few corny elements to this. Like the fighting cage and everyone getting high, inhaling methane.. I could go on. At the end of the day, it was just nice to see some of these characters again.

I believe they will have more episodes on season 2 . Most shows only have a few episodes on the first seasons. It a tester

I canceled Amazon amc plus and went straight amc plus during walking dead prime because of that issue

i am also never using amazon again for amc+. it’s been years and they still haven’t figured it out. i’ll be using apple or youtube in the future.

i really enjoyed this season. i feel bad for negan. he changed, in my opinion, cause of Maggie and Hershel. He genuinely felt bad for killing Glenn and this is how he repays it. Then Maggie comes and sorta fucks it all up. and now hes back in the saddle although under blackmail. Also, seeing Hoboken Terminal although it was something else, was awesome.

My biggest question is does the dama and Maggie know eachother? Maybe she met her while she was the Georgie? CRM related?

I subscribed too AMC + just too watch these spinoffs lol but for $8.99 a month it was worth it. I would of liked for there to be a prior connection between Negan and the Doma, I thought that it would come out that the Doma and Negan were related lol I am so looking forward too season 2!

I been stabbed twice. You don't really feel it until the next day. The one in my shoulder was not to bad. But the one in my abbs. I couldn't do anything the next day.

Not really tho if negan just wants to be alone and leave they’ll kill Hershel. I think negan just wants to be alone where his actions don’t hurt people and he feels indebt to people. Negan doesn’t want to put on a show to be some big bad leader where his actions kill sons and fathers and he feels he owes people more. I think it’s why he left his kid n wife as well. It’s to much for him to even protect his own people from bad cuz in the end he ends up losing. Like how he killed those guys n then ended up having to take care of genie

If Maggie doesn’t survive I will not feel bad in the slightest. She should be mad at Daryl since Negan made it very clear he’d only take one unless they got out of line. Also I don’t think Negan will turn bad; he seems to be revered as some sort of legend so maybe he can unite the communities for the better.
