The Battle of Wake Island was fought between Imperial Japanese Navy and US Marines in December 1941 during World War II.
The commander on Wake Island, Winfield S. Cunningham, and His fellow Mariners fought well against the Japanese, despite a lack of defense. But soon Wake Island was slipping into in hands of Imperial Japan on December 23, 1941.

Obviously it's text to speech, it's pretty good but you can hear it from the cadence that it's not quite natural.

they were betrayed . should of got them off the island sooner or not haved turned around the force that was sent with more planes and soldiers

They were sacrificed not betrayed. The USN sent a carrier strike group to relieve Wake but it was recalled over concern that these last USN resources and exposing them to a superior IJN was too risky.

Higher command turned our backs on these men who tried to save this island from the japs, but they were poorly equipped and protected. Being so close to imperial Japan these islands were sitting ducks.
The Japanese military were cruel and inflicted terrible horrors. Worst...
