The Wait is Over: NEW 2025 Chevrolet Chevelle 70/SS Takes the Spotlight
The story of the New 2025 Chevrolet Chevelle 70/SS and the old vintage 1970 Chevelle Super Sport muscle car is akin to the story of Jesus Christ and Lazarus in the Bible.
And just like Jesus brought Lazarus back to life.
Trans-Am Worldwide took the vintage 1970 Chevelle Super Sport muscle car, gave it a new modern breath of life, and brought it back to life on a modern, innovative power-packing platform.
But unlike Jesus, who resurrected Lazarus just four days after his death. It took Trans am nearly fifty-five years to resurrect the 1970 Chevelle Super Sport muscle car's spirit into the new 2025 Chevrolet Chevelle 70/SS!
This video tells the full, exciting story!

Nice car, I remember in high school I saw Chevelle SS's everyday. A friend of mine even owned a yellow 1969 SS396 with a Muncie shifter. But this 2025 Chevelle is not worth what they're asking.

My dad bought a ‘71 Chevelle SS 454 yellow-with black 2 stripe design down the middle- the year he came back from Vietnam. It was the only car he ever bought off the showroom floor. When we were younger & smaller five kids could fit in the back seat. In 1980, my dad gave it to my brother so he could commute to high school. Then he managed to wreck the car twice! After the first wreck he took it to auto body class where students worked on it and was successful in bringing back its pristine condition. Then the next year he wrecked it again. This time it was bound for the auto graveyard. To this day I blame my dad for giving it to him & not saving it for me. Both wrecks included going down remote canyons full of trees at high speeds in California; while keeping the car (at least once) from total destruction points to the superior workmanship & body strength of the vehicle 👍🤟

I still have my 1968 SS Camaro. It had a blown engine when i got it but i put in a 454 and brand new 4 speed manual transmission. It is amazing! I love it! I had a 1970 as well as a 1966 and 1967 Chevelle back in the day but did not have a 454 in any of them.

That was a new Dodge Challenger at the 0:43 and the 1:37 to 1:47 mark. And a newer Camaro at the 3:09 mark, and that's a Corvette interior shown at the 3:21 mark, the steering wheel tells you that. That being said, that new Chevelle concept is sweet! It would be even sweeter if they really manufactured them.

I thought this car was coming out in 2024. This same exact video is posted saying "The Wait is Over: NEW 2024 Chevrolet Chevelle 70/SS Takes the Spotlight." Aside from the fact that it's sacrilegious to even make a Chevelle 2.0, I'm also thinking this is fake news.

The price is the shockin part Now if Ford was smart they would bring back the 71 Torino and the old school Big blocks or the Clevelands with the Cobra Motors also But after driving a Coyote Mustang knew then that Ford isn't what it use to be They went Wimpy But was a nice thought for a few with the Torinos

Wow, over priced ... You could buy an original Chevelle, restore it or restomod it for less money and be just as good.

I'd argue that you could go as far as saying it'd be better even than just as good. This thing basically got the Dodge Charger treatment ( almost literally ). They essentially went the same route as everyone else, and they new design is almost a dead look alike to the modern Chevy Camaro and Dodge Charger body style with that rounded blocky look. I'm genuinely disappointed. All my life the '70 to '72 Chevelle SS has been my absolute favorite American Muscle, but I just got done dirty the same way I did with my favorite line of trucks, the Ford Broncos. It doesn't feel like it'd be inappropriate to say they basically insulted everyone these cars really meant something to. And the price? You said it. Over priced so much it's almost a joke. I'd love a modernization of a classic body, body what they did here is just... Hurtful.

Yeah for sure. I've owned about 30 to 40 classic 60s and 70s cars in my lifetime...I was into cars and was a driving teen in the 70s.

I'm genuinely disappointed. The '70 - '72 Chevelle SS is my all time greatest love in American muscle, but I really feel like I did when I heard my favorite truck series, the Bronco, was being brought back just to have a generic SUV crossover that looks like everything else thrown in my face. They took a beautiful body style and car and gave it the same shit treatment they did to the Dodge Charger and Chevy Camaro. Just a rounded, blocky body style. It feels genuinely insulting. And for 150k? You could update and restore a classic Chevelle for less than that.
