I just ordered one of these and agree about the choils. A small knife doesn't need an inch of the blade cut away for "control." Blades are for cutting. Handles are for handling. 😂

Nitro V isn't big on edge holding. But toughness? It's based off AEB-L and it's toughness is incredible. Add to that the super fine microstructure and you'll start to understand why it was used- it allows that super fine thickness behind the edge to shine and be stable.
