I love the Dachsund!! So fidgety and feels comfortable to grip. It was my first Vosteed and now they convinced me to buy the Ankylo which I'm very excited for.

I have all except the Dachshund and the Hedgehog….of course waiting on the Ankylo. Haven’t handled the other two, but am interested for sure. Vosteed is kickin ass and taking names right now.

I am just happy to see that a company is innovating at a rate to have a "greatest knives" video while only being popular for a few years. Spyderco, Benchmade, ZT (how many new designs in the last few years?), etc. These large, legacy companies are not going to be able to live on past laurels for much longer and stay competitive. We are in a hey day of unprecedented options at all price points and I, while still a straight up Spyderco fan boy, am happy to see it. Thanks for the video Greg.

I think your list looks solid! I really had my eye on the rskaos for a while, the same Elmax version from White Mountain. Then the Psyop came out and is now top of my Vosteed wanted list.

Yessss great list! Their premiums are getting crazy good. I remember there was a time when people were saying they liked the Corsair better than the Raccoon but the Raccoon seems to be the one that's selling and getting the alternate version treatment. I'd love a top liner lock Corsair - would give me something different to try. On that note, I know we're all clamoring for them to "top liner lock ALL THE THINGS" but I wonder if we should pump the breaks a bit. It's not trivial to completely flip the lock geometry around and ensure there's enough space in the design to support the whole lock face.

@@GBall_Vision In a sense, yes. I guess I'm just not taking it for granted that the handle and blade internal geometries can implement the top liner lock easily. For instance, I wonder if the Nightshade (with its unique geometry) can accommodate it.

I’m waiting on one of those compression lock raccoons, pretty excited - I’m huge fan of the compression lock - especially with a CME on it so that it behaves essentially as a button compression lock for a lefty like me so I’m sure I’ll like Vosteed’s compression lock. Anyone know whether other companies can use the term compression lock? I was thinking since the patent is expired it might be allowed? I’m not looking forward to every company having their own name for it like with the crossbar lock 😂😂

I understand Vosteed has some great knives, and they're certainly worthy of the coverage they've been getting. Believe me, I've been wanting to buy almost every one of their last new knives. However, it's pretty frustrating when all the knife channels continually push products that aren't available. It seems all I hear about are the same Vosteed knives, a company that's had empty shelves for weeks. Does Vosteed have any plans of restocking their inventory? I can't think of any other category of products, or any other industry that manipulates supply/deman like knives. It's crazy how they can have a line of people wanting to buy their products but refuse to replenish their inventory. Limited runs, sure that makes sense. But not reordering your flagship products in a timely manner? I don't get it. Sorry to come off negative, but something has to give. And I enjoy your channel. I watch almost every video you put out. But please, can you maybe share about a brand that has product availability? At the end of the day, I watch knife content to learn about new blades, materials, and possibly decide on my next knife purchase. And this isn't Pro-tech or an American company. There's no reason China can't handle doing a restock two or three times per year. Maybe it's poor management by Vosteed or mismanagement. of funds? Maybe that's why they depend on Kickstartert campaigns? I'm not sure. But, I've gone from a complete Vosteed fanboy to not considering them at all because of this. Any thoughts on this in a future video would be greatly appreciated. And thanks again for the great content. I really do enjoy it. I just felt I needed to say something about this.

I think what is possibly happening, especially if it's in regards to vosteed. If it's a brand new model to them, because they are a small shop. Unlike kizer Civivi kansept etc. They only produce so many. So by the time they tease them, make them available and reviewers make videos, that initial burst sells them out quickly because they just don't have the inventory. They will make more and do more, but a lot of people think they are a massive shop but they are really small so they can't take as large of a chance like some. If Civivi makes a budget model and makes 600 or 1000 and only sell 100 they don't care. If vosteed did that it would hurt them badly. They want to make a decent amount initially to gauge the demand and once they know it's there they'll make more. Similar to the raccoon nightshade etc. But I hear you, also though remember they are a small business with very few employees and can only do so much. I use to view them similar to kizer etc or close. I was sadly mistaken

I appreciate you taking the time to reply. Hopefully they’ll do some restocking of the newer raccoons soon. They’ve been reinvesting into new models lately as well which I’m sure has played a part in their low inventory. And that’s good to see. I’m glad they’re growing. Maybe they’ll get to a place soon where it all balances out and we’re not waiting weeks or months for restocks. I’m sure they’ll figure it out. Thanks again 🙂👍🏻

Im here to tell the knife community to DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!. Nothing urks me more than poor customer service. It tells me everything about the owners and business! They don't care! Just had a problem with my Ankylo the button fell out and 5 days later they have not resolved anything. No communication. They took 4 days to respond and now are answering one email per day. And i buy alot of knives.

Their customer service is only in over night here. Usually 10 pm eastern to 7 am eastern. So that is why on the communication. They should resolve it. Never have heard they have bad CS. Keep me posted
