The Volvo V60 Cross Country is COOLEST OVERLAND wagon

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Volvo's latest Cross Country wagon is one of the best versions yet. It's fast, it's luxurious and it's good looking. Does that mean you should buy it over an Audi or Mercedes? Find out in this review.

I have the v60 b5 cross country and it’s fabulous, great range on a tank, quick when needed, great quality and standards. Only issue is if you need a non regular part takes three months to come from Sweden and the tyres are hard to get so I keep a full spare in the garage having been caught out after getting a drill bit through a tyre. Sun roof is beautiful but fiddly to use. Not really for off road just a bit of dirt roads. All round I love it

Ouch for the parts. But good to hear it's mostly good to own!

That was everything I needed to hear! Nicely done, very informative in helping me make my decision. I'm down to a C40 or a V60 T8 Recharge in Dark Theme with a full "Blond" (I think that's what Volvo calls it) interior. I'm slightly miffed that Volvo Taiwan doesn't allow consumers to order a T8 Recharge with Dark Theme... it literally makes zero sense as to why they don't just open up the specs and let the customers order the car they want with the options they spec'd in the colour they like. Also a shame we don't get the V60 Polestar version as I'm addicted to suspensions and dampers and those manually adjustable Öhllen's (sic?) dampers just look like they'd bring me so much joy in the years I'll be driving it. One last note is I would differentiate, as a consumer, between Volvo not offering the Polestar edition not even for order versus something like a Dark or Light exterior trim theme. Mind boggling. Alright question time:

Good job mate. Just one feedback a little bit less of your right hand movement will be good. Sometimes it is a bit distracting.

Thanks Cameron. Finally another review on the V60CC. Can you confirm Applecar play is still available in the 2022 model. Read that it was being discontinued given Volvo's switching over to Android based info system? Also would have been good if you could show it on screen + play a sample track using the B&W audio. May be you can as a part 2? Lastly what's your opinion of the reliability. I've noticed on a facebook page Volvo owners esp in Europe, mostly V90 and V60 are continuing to report issues , be it rattling, be it rear body panel issues or even software driven issues.

Our model came with Apple CarPlay. It was the older software. Apparently Volvo is coming with an update to include Apple CarPlay in their new software very soon. I posted a short video on instagram (@productreviewcars) showcasing the B and W system :). I didn't have an obvious reliability issues, I've heard usually good things about Volvos. However it's the cost of servicing that can be high post warranty period.

Volvo v60 is actually made in Sweden a lot of Volvo's apart from XC90 are made in china and they charge western market's a hefty premium as if it were made in a western country with proper wages and conditions

@@ProductReviewCars I've sat in these and they definitely feel and are lower overall to ground. Door entry height also lower, hence not as easy to get and out, compared to say a Forester.

In Oz, say you decided you're going to buy a Volvo V60 T8 Ultimate Recharge, but your local dealers don't have the one you want in the your colour etc so you decide to order to custom order it. What sort of fees are you looking at up front if you were planning on financing your car? Because here in Taiwan, say I am ordering a BMW 320i which is worth around $2million Taiwan Dollars (TWD). Let's say I decide to tack on 300,000 TWD worth of options. Well, not only would I have to pay, according to a BMW dealer from PGUM Ltd., a publicly listed company on whom I have hard evidence committing serious fraud, I not only would first have to front $100,000 TWD just to "secure" the car (any deposit a dealer squeezes from you counts toward his monthly quota), but then I have to pay up front the entire $300,000TWD in order to cover all the options (in case the car arrived and I didn't it, the "security" deposit wasnt enough). That's around $3000 US and $10,000 US respectively. So in order to buy a car worth $60,000 that is not black or white or silver on the exterior without a BLACK ONLY interior, why on earth would I or could I possibly front $13,000 for a car that I'd only want to finance/lease for three to five years anyway? Please would you mind sharing how it works in Oz before I implement a finely tuned plan to blow the whistle on three major consumer industries that are grossly controlled by the United Bamboo Criminal Organisation in Taiwan?

I know this reply is late but when you order a custom car, like a custom suit, if you decide not to get it once it comes in, the dealer may not be able to find another buyer just like you!
