About my videos: These videos are a resource for anyone wishing to wake up from the dream of separation. Awakening, enlightenment, and liberation are becoming far more mainstream possibilities than they once were. There are many good teachers out there, and if you resonate with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, or Sadhguru, you might find resources here that address these deeper promptings to investigate your true nature.
Disclaimer: The information presented in these videos is not meant to diagnose or treat any psychiatric or medical illness. The inquiries presented herein are potent and can have powerful effects on the way you experience yourself and reality. If you feel you are at risk of harming yourself or others, these videos and practices may not be the best thing for you at the moment. Seek help wherever necessary which might include a hospital emergency department, a suicide helpline etc.

🙏🙏🙏 A monk said, "I have heard that the teaching says that 'The mirror of suchness takes on the color of the object that is reflected in it.' But what is its original color?" Joshu called the monk's name. The monk answered. JoshiI said, "Come here." The monk came and asked again, "What is the original color?" Joshu said, "Just follow the color."

One thing that I tried during this: cover one eye. It completely removes the "depth" perception without even trying.

Ahah ... I'm the philosophical guy who likes to ruminate on the materialism vs. idealism stuff.😅 But I love your approach precisely because it helps to remind myself that it is time to go beyond that. Thank you!

The sensations exist. Everything else is a thought/an invention/an attempt to make sense of sensation. Babies are pure sensation (light and energy). No boundaries. No thing assigned to the sensation. Before sounds equated to words.

Oh this experience was great. My third time to do the visual field exercises and each time the sensations got better and a little longer, just a few seconds. I am overwhelmed. Thank you Angelo

Listening to this while working; not really paying attention to the words and I'm having these brief moments of weirdness...feeling the space between myself the keyboard and the monitor, and focusing on that space in between. .....Then started listening and realized what you were talking about is what the focus was all about.

I was listening to this video while eating lunch and realized I couldn't give full attention to both at the same time. So I paused the video and just ate my lunch becoming aware of all the sensations involved. It was a fun exercise. All the sensations, including thought, were here except the visual sense.

Oh yeah, the visual field for me doesn't feel real. There's some falseness about it. It feels tense and fake. And of course it does, cause I'm looking at the minds overlays. A lot come from the energy in the body, stored, old programming. That constant interpretation of the world and projection of it onto the perception is what's the problem. I'd love to see it without the filters, just get out of these AR glasses for a moment. Must be beyond real.

Breathing is super intimate. Having everything you need - breath, heart beat, blood moving, so groovy. No face! There's no face here. Breathing opens this hole where you'd think a face is supposed to be, and everything is "in" it. Stuff "over there" isn't over there - over there doesn't make sense - it's right here. It's not different from me. That's just from breathing - hot damn, huh? This stuff actually works, OK? "Quick" and "gradual," "difficult" and "easy" - just stories. My partner comes home and I'm saying oh my God - I have no face! She's going to freak out. Doesn't even notice. That thought was unbearably hilarious. Laughing is so powerful. People are oriented towards this idea of power - always eluding them, never "enough" to do whatever they think they need to do, meanwhile this true and truly awesome power - the power of laughing - is right here always.

Hey Angelo, sometimes it feels like non duality may just be a way to explain the experience of everything being experienced in the same place (the brain). The visual field, sound, touch etc all overlap and mix because that is just how the sense fields are experienced. But it doesn't prove that there is no physical world out there enough for things to clarify... if that makes sense. I really want it to, but this belief seems too powerful to drop!

It’s not. You’ve already noticed it’s an assumption. Just notice that you don’t know, one way or another, what’s going on here. You don’t have to “know” non-duality. You just need to know that you don’t actually know.

  • @innernesss

@@AliveClint but how does knowing that you don't know lead to a realisation of non-separation? Seems like a concept like any other, all that can be said is that this is a mystery

I have been playing around with the visual field for the last while, this is usually how an intense fear barrier is reached. I have difficulty not distinguishing far and near, any suggestions?

  • @SimplyAlwaysAwake

Keep at it. Or do concentrates self inquiry closing the sense gates this you will will be more able to distinguish thoughts from fear as the fear barrier arises
