These guys deserve more credit. They drop some of the biggest Pop songs. Every once in awhile i hear a song on the radio that is a guilty pleasure for some reason. 9 timesout of 10, i found out Stargate did it

Umbrella is definitely Rihanna’s signature song imo
Simple yet complex. The sounds compliment the theme of the song to create a bigger picture.

Wow 3 layers to the chords. I only hear 2, but I do use that chord strategy where you go from a 5 note chord to a 3 or 2 note chord for a smooth energy shift
It’s so hard to remain simple when you have an abundance of different versions of the same base beat because your indecisive and a perfectionist always thinking I can tweak it just a bit more to make it better tbe. Next thing I know I’m stuck working on the same portion of the song in logic cause I can’t make up my mind. It’s always important to have other peoples opinions of like minded artists to create magic! I start my audio engendering education next month so excited!

They get credit from the Industry, that's important for them. They don't need recognition from the public because they are calm and down to earth guys, no ego tripping with Stargate like we see with many producers. This is why these guys survived for so long in this industry.

It’s because he probably used it in the original or at first and then later possibly the engineer replaced it with another plugin like fabfilter
