Funny but you can definitely say those old cars were really built tough! Strong chassis, durable but simple suspensions and those wire wheels (with knock off hubs) can definitely take a beating!

A Ford Model A can be had for a pretty reasonable price. 15 to 20 thousand American will get you a nice one.

It’s a test to see how far you can climb a muddy hill with corners and obstacles such as streams and banks to impede your process. Once the Marshalls deem that you have slid backwards it counts as a fail at that point. After that all passengers have to get out of the car and the driver reverses off the section or route.
