The Tulleys Sporting Trial
Sporting Trials is the ultimate development of a 2-Wheel drive car and is as unique as motorsport can get.
"Why bother with 2-wheel drive when you can have all-wheel drive or even 4-wheel drive?" Well, my friends, that's what makes Sporting Trials so special. It's all about combining momentum and throttle control to conquer the most challenging terrains known to man.
Now, we know what you're thinking. "This sounds easy. Just keep your foot on the gas and go, right?" Wrong. Sporting Trials is not for the faint of heart. You have to be able to read the terrain, adjust your speed, and choose the right line to make it up that hill. And if you think you can just power through the obstacles, think again. This is a sport that rewards finesse over brute force. You have to use every trick in the book to get that car up that hill.
Here are some clips from the event.

As a Canadian who's never seen nor heard of whatever exactly is going on here, let me just say this is one heck of a delightfully bizarre and British motorsport! From the outside looking in it's like a bunch of farmer's in RWD Caterhams (I do watch Top Gear so I know a Caterham when I see one) with bicycle wheels on the front going wheeling in some other farmers back forest and frankly I AM HERE FOR IT.

For work I ended up having to speak to and put in multiple cases about some of the quality of the builds of the Jeep her in Australia. I'm talking subframes falling out, and head rebuilds at 20,000km. And what they told us in no uncertain terms was that yeah we send some s*** ones to you... soz. So yeah they're probably ok you're one might not be a piece of s*** but all of them I know are.. So for that reason.. Someone Tells me a I want to buy a jeep I laugh and say get a Hyundai, ( because they're not going off roads anyway realistically.) @@daggermouth4695 I dunno about Jeep but the most sold truck in the world is the F-150, then the Chevrolet Silverado. I know Jeep has had some serious issues with some models like Renegade and Commander. In terms of technologies, I don't know of a single supercar today that isn't using American technologies. Adjustable ride, magnetic suspension, aluminum and carbon fiber monocoque technologies... but uhhhh... yeah, I drive a German car lol.
@daggermouth4695
Жыл бұрын
@@philonetic321 you realise half the things you mentioned are 20 year old European technology. The US literally gets everything in their cars that have been standard in Mercedes for decades. And yeah the renegade and commander were fkd because Jeep sold themselves to Fiat,oso renegades and such have an Alfa Romeo guilletta engine, ( which is complete 🤮 ) And trying to get a Alfa ECU and TCU to program with a jeep driveline just didn't work. I was swapping out semi autos that were stuck in 3rd or whatever gear.... after like 2nd service. Also I think you will find that the only reason the silverado, RAM and all F series, have the number in the global sales is because there are so many Americans who just buy them without thinking. Like no one here is going to buy a silverado, ram or f truck. It only works over there honestly. If they buy those over here, I've noticed it's to make up for the size of their penis which isn't sufficient to satisfy their partner. Now you'll find that the asian makes that are in the global sales figures have less recalls, less problems, and generally a higher saftey rating. American cars are like an air conditioner, add wheels, if the wheels don't spin don't worry as long as the air con works. 🤷♂️ ( that's what I've seen at least ) I've literally watch every single module in a jeep WK fail, All of them ORC, TCM , BCM ,ECM and the other 7 or 8 ... haha and the only one that works is HVAC which is air con 🤣 Like I've actually watched the jeep choose to have its Air Con compressor work, rather than the immobiliser. Watch the number all fault and default to lock its self.. 15,000km .. Anyway sorry if I come across as a d!ck. I'm just speaking facts. But yeah same goes for here. "Our " cars Holden, ford.... pieces of sht Oil leaks flat out, suspension ball joints like every month etc... Oh and bmw and merc German brands are not great either I've had 2 m3 e46's Both rear subframes cracks (known fault ) All windows regulators followed by expansion tanks and head gaskets. So yeah.. I guess. What I'm saying is I learned along time ago from experience is.... if you want it to start every day ... buy a Toyota , Mazda etc.
