I agree with your take on Risner. KOC is likely to focus more on the running game this year. That would favor the other 2 guards in that scenario.

My big concern is that the Vikings might start slow again. But my wonder is if KOC will play more of his starters in the preseason this go around.

Mullens is likely to be QB2. However depending on JJMc's development he could get traded before the deadline.

Unless he is lights out better than anyone else, not starting this year and McCarthy at QB3 is fine. Why is there this push to make him the starter just because he is a first round pick? Look at how the vast majority of 1st round QB's fail when handed the reins too early. Relax.
