Very smart, talented, creative, easy to chat with, born for tv and many other great things... but I can see her being difficult to work with on a consistent basis. She's admitted to having mental health issues that have affected her work and relationships. Oh I might add... Rosie seems very honest and trustworthy. She is not afraid to tell the truth -- this is what I love about her the most

I think it's because she's just loud and obnoxious. She seems like a very nice person but I just couldn't deal with somebody who's so bombastic and theatrical

Rosie is a genius, the way she can moderate a conversation is so effortless you don’t even realize you’re watching a talk show.

So true. It’s a shame that it didn’t work out with her bc I can’t stand watching Whoopi attempt to moderate the show. Her visible distain whenever the conversations veer off into a topic she is uninterested in is borderline unprofessional. It’s obnoxious. I love every other woman on the current (2023) panel except the moderator.

The fact that Barbs just called it a "BOOFET" proves she has never been to a buffet before.

I read once Barbara doesn't address hired help; if so, she'd probably not like someone labeling her elitist- it hits too close to home.

Joy was LOVING this.

The show was so fun back then. Rosie was outrageous! I loved it!

Lol i don't even like Joy...but she was 100% correct! It is silly when rich celebrities try and pretend they are "Regular Joes" like us!! Both Rosie and Barbara are very out-of-touch

The View used to be so much better. This is great. They seem like family...there is warmth here.

What Rosie was essentially trying to say, which is accurate, is that there's new money (like her), and then there's old money (like Barbara).

They are both new money. Both had a modest, working class upbringing and worked for their fortunes. Old money are the dynasty families like the Hiltons, for example. The difference was that Barbara rubs elbows with high status dignitaries, politicians, etc. whereas Rosie has a more grounded, normal social circle. They both have rich, celebrity friends, but they chose choose different types of lifestyles.

steven cunningham ... I heard just recently from comments on the new book out on The View, that Rosie went out of her way to be friends with Elizabeth and to spend time with her off the show. Perhaps Elizabeth changed.

This is one of the most hilarious segments on the view I've ever seen. Joy was loving this!

This clip is so good! I wish the dynamics of the show never changed, Rosie was so funny here, everyone was engaged and just an all around good conversation. But that's why families usually don't bring up politics because things never end well :0/

I miss Rosie. I am a 21 year old Male and as sad as it sounds I found this show interesting. Whoopi does it some justice but she doesn't go as hard as Rosie

This was pretty funny. Man Barbara took what Rosie said negative when she was trying to say something positive, it kind of made Barbara look bad imo. Looking back at some of the older views I miss this Rosie, I feel like people always took what she said the wrong way but people who speak their mind often get themselves in hot water. The view was so much more fun to watch back then.

I just think Barbara's used to being subdued and is used to getting her way when it comes to her other co-hosts being subdued, and Rosie comes on like a hurricane (which for me is very refreshing and one of the more admirable qualities about her), forcing Barbara to come out of her "prepared speech" type of world. I'm not saying Barbara isn't real, but I don't think she's comfortable showing how real she is to the viewing public, and that's what was really unsettling for her w/Rosie.

The irony that everybody at that table is rich. 😂

What Rosie was doing is calling Barbara an elitist and that her dinner parties usually reflect that. So of course Barbara was feeling very insulted by the insinuation. That's why she was acting the way she was to Rosie's comments.

I don’t think Barbara is classy at all. Have you seen that interview with Dolly? She was so incredibly rude to her, baiting her and insulting her. Dolly owned her, though. Barbara could never touch her class and manners.

First, Barbara's faux-humility is what I dislike here. This woman will name drop and boast her "achievements" in a heartbeat -- but when someone actually points out how shallow those things are compared to every day life, she feigns "I'm an every day gal who just SOMETIMES pals around with heads of state and rich people by accident!" Second, this was the cutest Elisabeth had been this entire season. She was like the little sister (Rosie), the niece (Joy) and the granddaughter (BW) at the table.

I think Rosie was just trying to point out that whatever your bank acc't....."rich" is a state of mind. Shes not trying to impress anyone, whereas Babs, with her elitist connections kind of has to impress during many situations, even though she may not be as elitist. It's a hard knock life 🎶 🤣

Watching this clip that is 14 yrs old, Joy is different these days. And what nonsense about sitting without your spouse. Rosie is right on, she knows the average/normal person. Sheesh! Like her or not, she did then and does now, keeps it real. AND, oh please, all four of these women have more money than all the people in my condo building.

They're discussing the "rich". Other than Rosie and Barbara, the other two, Joy and Elisabeth, were NOT wealthy. Yes, they did make good money during that time. I'm not debating that, but neither of them could afford to stop working for the rest of their lives. Rosie and Barbara, on the other hand, could. That's what they were referring to... being rich enough to the point where you only "work" because you want to, not because you need to. Of course, now Joy is in the bracket of being wealthy, but this was back in 2006/2007; now it's 2022... as to your other comments, I wholeheartedly agree 100%. :)
