The Video I Never Wanted To Make…

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

It's been a very uncertain road for the fate of my 2003 SVT Terminator Cobra ever since we found out the block had low compression on one of the cylinders. I have been on the fence since making a decision on what to do next. I have been getting a lot of private messages raising concern for what's next, so...today we talk about it...

Hate to hear about the motor. It would be a shame to take steps backwards, when the car ( and you) have come so far. I would encourage you to stay the course with the car- as in not returning to stock. Find out where the weak link was and resolve that issue. I respect you for staying with your friend that had the rear end issue - this is why I always have a spare rear built in my garage ready to go ONCE I break the one that's in it- not " if". I also have another block that could be pressed into temporary service if needed. Love the car the way it is, but it's your car & we will support you whatever road you take. Thank you for posting.

I've learned so much from your channel too... Whatever happens... It is for sure for the best. You are the channel. Not the car. I follow many others that decided to make changes. ❤ Nothing more admirable than someone just being themselves and living their dreams.

Newer to your channel very understanding of life happens and we change our minds on things and I can relate in terms of I’ve had issues with my 04 mach 1 that has been parked for going on 2 years now. I’ve been discouraged and have had little to no interest in it recently due to other priority’s but I have t given up on the dream. She will be back on the road eventually. My advice is don’t give up on your dreams man so what if it takes a little longer to get to it. Everything is more worth it when we can learn to be patient. I say enjoy it while you got it. And who knows maybe something will come up when you least expect it. I mean you got a car most people would dream to have. I tell my self one day I will have a termi but because of were I’m at in my life I was able to co e up on my Mach 1 and I’m just as great-full don’t give up on your dreams man it will work itself out .

I’m in the same Situation back in 2019 I bought a super clean low mile 2004 cobra roller. I ended up buying low miles Terminator engine from one of the mustang salvage yards well due to Covid I was having a hard time finding the rest of the Drivetrain parts to have the engine installed . Finally after a year later I acquired all the parts and had the engine and the car delivered to my local performance shop .just to find out the Engine was bad I contacted the salvage yard and they told me there’s nothing they can do I was out $12,000 .maybe someday I have the engine rebuilt but for now I’m out a total of $26k and have never driven the car 🤦🏻

More power more problems. I’ve seen many people go for big power then start having problems. I’m happy on my Whippled cobra in the 700’s rear hp. Been running for 5 years trouble free. Just your average maintenance, oil changes and plugs..

Great video. I agree with you, that Terminator told you she isn't the one for your build. I'm a sentimental person too, but life is short. Get something else that lights the fire. GT500 would be great if you still want a Mustang. My buddy Felix owns the R32 you mentioned. It's an '89 he picked up a few weeks back. Looking forward to the next upload.
