Just as Keanu Reeves, Trinity and the rest had to learn Movie kung-fu from Yuen Woo Pings teams that also taught hundreds of Chinese actors movie kung-fu, they had to spend nearly a year learning the same thing and continued training all throughout the making of the Matrix movies. Badass scenes, both the one with Wilson Tong and with the other Guy that played his brother! Beardy said in an interview that he had never had a formal training in martial arts and that It was only a hobbie for him also he used the Wing Chung style in his movies but he didn't kow it at all. He was really talented and one the BEST I seen in Kung Fu movies! Kung Fu FOR EVER!!!

@@ninjavigilante5311 I was just about to say the same. Sammo & others of his generation edited by hand, made films without a shot list or storyboard and improvised action sequences on the set. The Golden Generation and Sammo is the best of the best. We'll never see anything like this again! Delight Sammo got a lifetime achievement award, he's not looking too well these days, sadly.
Well choreographed the fight speed is believable to me this should be the standard of a fight scene it never gets old to me
‘BEARDY’ LEUNG GAR YUEN & WILSON TONG, who starred as one of the snake masters in SNAKE IN THE MONKEYS SHADOW in an awesome fight scene.Reading about Leung gar Yuen, was that he wasn’t a trained martial artist. He’d been a Shaw brothers stunt man,and according to Samo Hung, he was one of those stuntmen, who was able to pick up moves for the films he was in.Absolutley amazing. What it shows was just how hard working stuntmen in Hong Kong martial arts movies were, and the dangerous stunts they were put through. Both Jackie Chan and Samo Hung had worked as stuntmen, before becoming Movie stars, and we’ve seen from the outtakes of Jackie’s movies, in particular PROJECT A & ARMOUR OF GOD, Jackie could have been seriously injured or even lost his life.

@@jaydebeer7251 - They DO know it, but they learn MOVIE Kung-fu as opposed to real fighting Kung-fu, which even in Bruce Lee's day in China was almost extinct thanks to the dam commies. Takes LOTS of practice to make it look THAT good. The moves, techniques, styles, theory are ALL real and Legit, but they just learn the forms for the movies. Carey Ann Moss (trinity) said that it was sooo hard she nearly QUIT the movie several times. Keanu fell in love with it and kept practicing for a while too he said.

@@chrisdooley6468 Yeah I almost respect his ability more than an actual fighter trying to reign in the hurt for the camera myself, justified or not, like he had a photographic memory for martial arts moves (ok and the ability to pull them off) A real fighter doesn't necessarily have the ability to pop moves for a camera, they're usually more interested in popping the opponent. Benny had it too though

Yuen Biao doubles Wilson Tong here and you can see Lam Ching Ying doubling Chang Yi quite obviously.
