I just want to thank everyone who thought up this episode. Deviating from the high school game life to real life might have been risky considering your audience, but I think it spoke to many. Its funny how insignificant high school problems become when real life slaps you in the face. Like when Jenny heard on the TV that Napalm won, but no one at the time seemed to care.

That's exactly what I was thinking! I really like S3 so far. It's made me laugh the hardest, and it's certainly made me cry a lot. What you mentioned about the TV and a bunch of other details that were called to my attention through this podcast (Ted's dynamic wardrobe, Lawrence of Arabia, Jenny's foreshadowing line, ...) make me appreciate this episode even more. Like you said, the average VGHS viewer doesn't seem to like it judging from the comments on the actual episode, but this thread seems a lot more interesting and I'm having a lot of fun reading it.

This episode really hit me at home because before this, I really didn't know the connection I had grown watching the characters grow from Season 1 to Season 3. When I found myself being emotionally moved by Ted, I appreciated the immense work the whole crew put into making this and the entire show. Really, really fantastic episode. I consider this the best episode in the history of VGHS.

One of the Greatest things about this episode was the contrast of Ki's Parents to the kids, and the maturity that comes through with them. Great performances.

This episode was by far the best of the series. Because I always saw this as a series thing made by normal people. I never saw the actors as extremely high tier actors and did this project for fun. But the characters developed so much and it was so realistic i actually cried

I come back here every once in a while, and I just can't help but appreciate the amount of thought and effort put into making this episode the highlight of the series in terms of overall character development and production. If anything I hope that down the line something of this same quality will emerge again. Never stop filming RocketJump.

This episode was so intense. Jump starting from a Friends comedy, and landing into the greatest depths of drama about reality and mortality. I still don't know where should I put this inside of me. Jimmy acts so great on this, he should be proud of himself.

God some of the lines just hit you like a freight train. I like to watch this show in the background when I'm editing and every time Ted says "Morgues are weird" I stop dead and have to take like 5 seconds to remember what I was doing... It's just such a brutal but brilliant line for that character in that moment. Like those are the kind of lines that make me want to throw my hands up and say "screw this! I'm quitting writing because I'll never come up with a moment that perfect ever" XD
