Greatest British comedy ever followed by Still Game. Introduced my daughter to this back in 2003 and the latter a few years ago. She loves them both. Anyone who say's Only Fools is then they really haven't watched the original......STEPTOE & SON.

We use to buy these VHS videos in Woolworths and John Menzies shops back in 1993 when I was 10 living in Salford. Happy memories

Sheer gold from Galton and Simpson with great acting from Brambell and Corbett. I watched y as a child ,and never get fed up watching it again.Up their with Only fools and horses, Porridge,and open all hours.

One of the very best comedies ever made back in the days,I still watch them today,over and over again, sad that both have long since departed this life.😢

@@LonleyCopy No they never hated each other. They may have hated John Sullivan if they'd lived long enough to see him rip-off Steptoe by copying every episode, stories and names to make fools 'n' horses. Stop talking sh1te.

I was born in the wrong era, I was born in 1994 and grew up with Steptoe and son on all the time with other classic sitcoms. There no "comedy " now days I like or relate to.

Why everyone's now lost their sense of humour, grip on reality and common sense. Watch this all the time now. And Round the Horne, Julian & Stanley, Hancock, Allo Allo, etc. Anything that gets faaaar far away from the modern, bitterly angry, unfunny madness.

1972 I was born and this was and still is one of my favourite comedy's...😊

Masterpiece of comedy, loved the chemistry Harry H & Wilfrid had between them on screen. Pure magic 🤩🤩

The scripts were wonderful & perfectly executed by the talented duo & the other cast members. I loved the early black & white episodes especially.

Yeah they are amazing I grew up with them just wish I could do the kitchen sink the full movie and the one with the greyhound

My favourite episode in my entire Steptoe and Son DVD collection "The Bath"! Nice Cameo from yootha Joyce (aka née trembler in George and Mildred) ! The name of the show came from a small photographic shop the writers seen when looking for locations in the west end ! Called STEPTOE AND FIG ! Which became STEPTOE AND SON ! R.I.P. ALL ❤ 🙏

I think i liked it better now, after watching this video. You pointed out quite a few things i hadn't noticed, when watcing it the first time. I think I will watch it again (after watching Big Sky...love that show ) AND I just sent it to several freinds who would appreciate this. Fantastic job doing this video Rick!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Steptoe and Son was one of the very first TV series I saw as a kid. Back then the world was black and white, none of this fancy colour stuff! 🙂

I love to watch british comedy as it's like it was before restrictions nothing changes and everone is laid back and carefree I come home to get away from all the chaos and these comedies make me feel realy good

These two marvellous actors absolutely despised one and other once the camera stopped rolling

Saw many of these when I as studying at Nottingham U in 1963. Hilarious then and still funny. Hadnt realised there was more episodes made in 1974, after I had heft for the US, where comedy was pretty awful.

Schoolboy era by Harold, for a chick like that you spring for a hotel room! For 2 reasons, 1 because the old man will ruin it and you live in a tip, the other she got a husband and is a bit mad, better she doesn’t know where you live! But then you wouldn’t get the comedy would you👍

And vegans say that humans are the only creatures that consume milk. The doctor showed that when he said, "Are you having tit trouble?" 😅🤗It seems people have forgotten about the blue-tits that love breaking into the bottles of milk. No, not just us.
